[Q] please help about exynos - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

does the exynos processor in the note 4 SM-N910C will support 64-BIT when it gets the lollipop update ??

The Exynos is capable of 64bita, we don't know if Samsung will provide it, but it is very likely.

New release sammobile: 4.1.1 gt-9305 lte firmware from samsung

Hi guy
the news is so close to the official Release.
anyone has try this ? or someone could port it GT-I9300?
Samsung just released it’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean kernel source code for the LTE Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9305). Don’t confuse this device with the dual-core snapdragon S4 US Variant as this is the European LTE variant. GT-I9305 has the same Quad-Core Exynos 4412 CPU and the same ARM’s Mali-400MP GPU as the international Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300). The only differences are that the European LTE variant uses 2GB RAM instead of 1GB and has LTE Radios.
This means that 3rd party Android developers, like the CyanogenMod team, can use European LTE Galaxy S III’s (GT-I9305) Android 4.1 Jelly Bean kernel source code to fix major bugs like the Memory Leak, HW Composer and Mali GPU related issues they were having with the International Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300) as these both devices are very much identical. This source code can vastly improve and improve their Custom ROMs.
You can download the source code for the LTE Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9305) from Samsung’s Opensource Release Center.
please visit sammobile as i cannot post the link here
advise you self report before long, this is old news and you are bound to get flamed, or just edit the title and post to "please remove!"
Please remove?

SGS4 model numbers? kinda confusing!

Can somebody clear up the model SGS4 numbers we see being mentioned in various threads?
I see i9505 and i9500 and I assume that is the U.S. and non-U.S. versions, or Exynos 8-core and Qualcomm 4-core models, respectively.
I am also seeing model numbers such as SGH-M919, which is my U.S. T-Mobile SG4 (16GB, black) model number.
So, I am assuming that last model number I mentioned is a variant of the i9505, but I don't see that model number anywhere in my documentation.
Can some folks post their model numbers along with the phone carrier, size and color? maybe we can get a clearer picture of what these model numbers and model variants are.
Thanks!
Galaxy S4 I9500 (8-core) (Exynos octa version)
Galaxy S4 Duos I9502
Galaxy S4 I9505 (LTE) (Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 version)
Has anyone tried this method on I9505 MDM firmware? This is supposed to be un-rootable
EDIT::: OOOPS wrong thread

Okay, answering some of my own questions here. Here is a wiki showing the different model numbers:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S4#Model_variants
I9505 is an International model number for LTE versions with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor
The following are U.S. models that are basically the I9505 with differences in software (ROM and enabled radios)
AT&T SGH-I337
T-Mobile SGH-M919
Verizon SCH-I545
Sprint SPH-L720
Some of these may be bootloader locked, so I guess that is important to know if looking to root. Most rooting info I have seen talks only about the I9505 or I9500 international model numbers.
Maybe someone could explain the MDE, MDN, and MDM variants of the I9505 model number?

Samsung galaxy s4 (MDM) rooted w/ official status.

I put my comment in the wrong thread LOL but what I mean is the MDM kernel ... I have MDM firmware but my kernel date is April 12 which is not MDM. The date of the MDM firmware + Kernel... should say 25/26th April...

Korean versions are SHV-E300K, SHV-E300L and SHV-E300S for KT, LG and SK telcos respectively
So is it alright to use mods/roms as long as it is for the same cpu model?

If you have access and can buy 9500 and 9505 at the same price which would you get?
Which one is better between the two to get for the long run?

Note 4 from Singapore N910S - is it Snapdragon?

Hi forumers,
My Note 2 has just died and I am about to get a Note 4 from Singapore.
The seller website and many other sites listed SM-N910S as having Snapdragon chip.
But there are threads here from Korean users who are also mentioning N910S but having Exynos chip.
So which one is right?
Anyone know if Singapore's N910S having Snapdragon or otherwise?
I only want Snapdragon.
Secondly, on my Note 2 I use Dr Ketan's ROM. Now his Note 4 ROMs are for N910G and N910F and they doesn't seems to be interchangeable.
Any chance a N910S use such ROMs?
Thanks!

Korean Galaxy Note 4 with model number SM-N910S is a exynos 5433 variant. The official singapore Galaxy Note 4 variant is SM-N910G model.
SM-N910S is the only variant that uses Samsung Sharon 300 modem for LTE data service, therefore ROM is not interchangeable. You must use ROMs made specifically for N910S model.
