you cannot unlock sim code in any android version you have to contact your service provider for assistance

i read about flashing/downgrading to jb..can unlock the network but thru the procedure of unlocking note3
Simply take it to your carrier. They should unlock it for free.

hi i call sprint they gave me msl code but i don't know where to enter it . do any one know . i think its the unlock sim code but don't know where to enter it

Take a look in General Section
You will find a guide on how to sim unlock your phone
But I think you need to downgrade to 4.2.2
And there is a guide on how to downgrade to 4.2.2 if your phone is i9500

I've got Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 4.4.2 and what i want is to have my mobile phone sim unlocked. i'm currently on T-Mobile Croatia nad i'm trying to insert my new SIM card from another operator... when mobile phone boots it asks for some code. As i don't have the code, i don't know what to do, and as i'm contractly connected with my original operator, i cannot request free sim unlock. However, i don't want to pay for the code either. So what are my chanses to get my mobile code sim unlocked? tried this metnod: android.gs/sim-unlock-samsung-galaxy-s4-i9505-i9500/
i cannot get over service mode menu after i enter 1. it's not doing anything, and as i see, this only works on 4.3 androids. So my is 4.4.2 and i'm unable to enter that mode.
please help me!
You have to unlock ur phone by IMEI. Unique way of make it free is buying a unlock code. Good luck :highfive:

i install Android lollipop(UK) rom to s4. before install lollipop i had this problem'
I tired trying carrier Unlock Methord [*0011#]. but it dosnt work for me. That menu isnt work in my device.

Discussed ad nauseam. Downgrading the modem or ROM to Android 4.2.2 is required in order for the unlock methods discussed on the forums to work. You could also simply purchase an unlock code.
