Droid Turbo USB and BT tethering works - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo General

Just confirmed on FoxFi that USB and Bluetooth tethering works on the Droid Turbo (with the most recent OTA update). Now we just need root to get WiFi tethering working. Come on Sunshine!

Did you link it to a computer or tablet with pdanet?

Just my Win 8.1 desktop. The BT connection won't work with my iPad though.

Will USB tethering work to an Android tablet (note pro 12.2 here)?

Dunno. Does your tablet have a USB port? Try testing it out and report back.

Connecting PS3 through wifi hotspot with tethering DHD to laptop?

I have a USB dongle which I brought for my laptop, and I have a DHD with my PS3 which is connected to my Sony Bravia 26 inch.
The USB tethering on my DHD works fine and is able to access my PC's internet just fine. If I switch on wifi hotspot on my DHD, my PS3 can recognise the network and connect to it as well.
Can I do a uSB tether to my DHD with my laptop, and then enable wifi hotspot so that my PS3 can access the internet with it? I cannot go in for a 3G plan because here in India, it costs a bomb. My USB dongle costs a bomb too, but Ive already invested in it.
Can someone please tell me how I can do what I wanna do? Thanks in advance

[Q] Wireless USB Adapter

can i use Wireless USB Adapter on my acer A500?
a500 already has wifi, if you want to find out just plug one in. Probably not though, unless drivers are available for it. Almost every tablet has wifi capability so not too sure if anyone's bothered with USB wifi adapter drivers.
I would like to use other wifi the adapter, for more best communication quality

[Q] Access WiFi on PC through USB connection to Nexus 7

Greetings. I have a desktop PC with no WiFi. I am trying to use the Nexus 7 like a USB WiFi dongle for a temporary internet access. Does anyone know if this can be done? My N7 is stock, no root. But I'd be willing to root if necessary.
Thanks
Possible...
Not 100% sure on this, but if you get a micro USB to OTG adapter, and then a USB to Ethernet adapter, run a wireless hotspot, and change your settings to allow others to connect through that Wi-Fi connection.
Just an idea, give it a go.

Bluetooth Slows Down Internet Connectivity?

Hello all,
My Fire HD 10 is my main device and so I use it alot.
Recently, I connected my DUALSHOCK4 controller to it via Bluetooth, and the Internet down/upload speeds went horrendosly slow. But when I disconnected, the speeds went back to 40/25mb/s respectively. Anyone know a workaround? Oh, and I am aware of OTG. We have an OTG cable, somewhere.
Hi,
Sounds like you have a 2.4GHz Wireless Access Point, Unfortunately Bluetooth also uses the very same 2.4GHz therefore interfering with each other. Some wireless access points have a co-exist with bluetooth function but to be honest you would be better off either getting a 5GHz Wireless Access Point or using the OTG cable (if it is compatible with your controller).
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the answer,
found a cheap 80p (about 95cent) OTG cable & ordered it, the DUALSHOCK4 works via OTG so all should be fine.
