Just spotted an "NJ1" new zealand firmware for Tab Pro 8.4 on sammobile. anyone tried it yet?
Do you have a link because all I see on SamMobile is this:
New Zealand 2014 October T320XXU1BNI1 4.4.2 which has a build date of Sept 3rd while NI2 has a Sept 19 build date.
sorry under the "CSC" column it said NJ1. i guess that column is not what i should be looking at?

and paste here your firmware name or screen capture.
BTW, if you have a UK version, you do not necessarily need a UK version again. You can install any other version.
The Australian one is in english and would be good for you.

Can confirm that ALI6 is working fine on my UK N8010. Installed via mobile Odin via Sammobile. This is the latest rom that Sammobile lists. I believe this is as up to date as Kies?

Everything on Sammobile is from Kies.
Yes the Australian is the newest WE KNOW. But it is of September and I guess there is a Oktober version somewhere.

i just got notified that there is a new firmware available. According to sammobile.com its Germany 2013 November 4.3 N9005XXUDMJ7 N9005DBTDMJ4.
Is there any changelog? on the device it only say stability improvements...well typical samsung.
I am on a rooted n9005 and do i lose root after i do that firmware upgrade?

Hello, I bought the Note PRO 12.2 LTE in Hong Kong. The Model number is: SM-P905. Krenel version 3.4.0-634464 [email protected]#1 Feb 7, 2014. A firmware update notification showed up. Anybody has any good/poor experience with the new firmware update? It does not show the firmware version. Shall I wait for awhile to see if there is any issue with the new firmware? Thanks.

I flashed it yesterday and have not seen any issues yet. Was able to root the device and flash Bigbiff's TWRP recovery.

I had problems during reflash n9005 before.
i had version N9005XXUFNG2 and wanted to update to Poland XEO version N9005XXUEND3. Somebody reply me i can use it and i almost kill my note3 during flash.
Then somebody explain i cant downgrade from NG2 to ND3 so i reflash back to correct version and let i to wait.
question 1:
my current firmware is N9005XXUGNG1_N9005ATOGNG1_N9005XXUGNG1_HOME.tar.md5, phone is probably from Austria A1 network (i bought it in local store with papers)
now there is update to android 5.0. Of course i got info and tried to update phone via wifi but after it download firmware (over 810mb) during recovery flash it end at 29% with ERROR message than suggest to use KIES so can i now use POLAND XEO firmware:

I'm in Qatar and I've SM-N9005 with Baseband N9005XXUGNG1. Can I flash official update firmware from other countries like Saudi Arabia with firmware N9005XXUGBOEA?
I would really appreciate if someone could give me link to some kind of tutorial on reading firmware compatibility issues.

I have been trying to find an answer to this for a long while, but I just can't. There are some ROMs which are meant for 32 GB devices, and then there are some ROMs which are meant for 16 GB devices. If you download a ROM which is meant for 16 GB Note 3, then obviously you won't be able to flash it on a 32 GB Note 3. And the firmwares listed on sammobile.com don't say which are which!
So I have given up, when a new base pops up, I simply head over to the Alexandar's topic to see whether he has complied the newer version or not, and he does that so fast. That is as stock as a ROM can get, other than ROMs from sammobile.com, so I don't really bother any more.
Anyone are able to download this update using firmware updating in setting?
My Note FE "L" version say there are any updating but on Sammobile it is present ths update:

but my question is, anyone has been notified about the updating availability?
even if I try to force the updating my Note said that the last update were already installed.
I have the S version and yesterday my Note was update with the AQH3 software.

i think ive disabled something with adhell too as ive not had any updates either. N935S
