Same for me with my sm-n910w8 in videotron - canada .... option lte not work stable ....

i flashed this, maybe it's due the ROM
PDA: N910FXXU1ANJ4
CSC: N910FTTR1ANJ3
MODEM: N910FXXU1ANJ4

i would like to try other ROM but does flashing stock to stock via ODIN wipe user data?

N9005 won't pick up 3G networks

Hi guys,
My actual phone info:
Bought with JB Stock Vodafone from Spain
Imei unlocked
Updated over OTA to kitkat
rooted via CF auto root.
Knox tripped
Phone info:
XXUENA6
XXUENA2
VFGENA4
For a week, I looked all over XDA forums, read all threads but I still can't find a solution for my n9005 problem.
Here it is: I bought one in Spain, imei unlocked it to use it Morocco. Everything worked just fine and I could use gsm network with a sim from IAM (Moroccan Provider). I then set up mobile APN to have 3G, made sure my sim is 3g enabled, but the phone refused to pick up the 3g signal. I checked the phone's mobile network settings, and found that I haf only 2 options: gsm/wcdma automatic, and wcdma only options.
Well, since Maroc Telecom(IAM) isn't offering a 4G coverage yet, I think that's normal not to have the 4g option. Still, When I use the automatic option I only get 2g signal (and can read my mails over gprs, get twitter notifications, but no internet via browser, etc..).
When I choose Wcdma only option, I simply have no network signal at all.
When searching manually for networks, I get all 3 moroccan's providers but only their 2g networks.
I was prompted for the kitkat update via OTA, updated but it didn't solve the unavailable 3g problem(and caused a few others I managed to solve).
Now, I rooted my n9005 using cf auto root, and off course tripped knox, tried to reset the phone many times, but still no way to have a 3g signal.
Thought about installing a compatible Rom, but I am a newbie, coming from the Apple world, and need some help with this.
Actually, it amuses me that I really waited until android started to ressemble to IOS to decide to switch once for all to Android
Please guys, if you have any idea to help me get the 3G signal, that would be awsome.
Thank you in advance.

[Q] No LTE option in Mobile Network

Hi guys,
I am sorry if this has already been asked and already been solved.
I have a Samsung galaxy Note 3, it is the N9005 version I bought it from someone here in the UK he got it as an upgrade on his contract from Mobilephonesdirect.co.uk
I am on Three network and I am on 4.4.2, I live in london.
I am supposed to have 4G however I cannot see the LTE option in Mobile networks, all I have is: WCDMA/GSM (Auto connect) , WCDMA only and GSM only.
my CSC is : N9005OXXENB1 , AP N9005XXUENB4 and CP N9005XXUENB1
I have rooted my device as i heard that might help? but havent changed any settings?
I am kind of a noob in all of this ?
would really appreciate your help ..
thanks

It does not matter. First at all you have to see it in options and set it on. Second is if your provider enabled it to use. Make sure that you have USIM instead regular SIM card fitted to proper size.

I Had The Same.Do This:
using root explorer go to:
system/data/property
using its text editor open the file:
persist.radio.lteon
change from false to true
REBOOT
IT COMES UP AFTER 3 REBOOTS FOR ME
Sorry For The Quote
This is something I deal with about 18 times a day these days... The joys of a provider launching LTE...
What happens is that each csc version has its own file with in it a list of all providercodes followed by a 1 or 0. If set to 0, the LTE option doesn't appear in the interface.
The sneaky buggers disabled the dialer code for manually enabling network mode on the Note 3. So ODIN is the best option.
What you have there is XEF, France. Since Three doesn't appear to use branded firmware, you need to flash BTU over it. (this wont trigger knox if you use the official firmware)

First of all are you on 4g network? If you are rooted, try editing this file /data/property/persist.radio.lteon file, set the content to "true"
good luck

[Q] Slow wifi GPE

hi, i have i9505 running danvh gpe latest 5.0.1
Problem is that WIFI takes alot of time to turn on, like 10+ seconds at times and same goes for connection to a wifi connection.
For some reason my CSC is XAR and csc country is USA, might that be a problem?
firmware is XXUHOB8
baseband the same
pda/csc is XARDNL3
forgot to mention, calls also take a long time to connect
did a reflash, still the same , hm

GT I9505 is not able to connect to data networks (3G/4G)

Hello! First of all I 'd like to thank you for trying to help me. Sorry for my English!! I decided to post here after reading a lot of topics , but I havent found a soluTion .
My girlfriend has a Samsung GT i9505 (S4). For a long time, she noticed that the phone didn't work properly so she decided to brought it to the technical service. When she arrived to home, the phone was not able to connect to WIFI or data networks . No 3G/HSDPA icons on the screen bar. The phone is connected to GSM network but without data.
I have discovered that in the network selection menu, there are several options: " GSM, GSM+WCDMA, GSM+WCDMA+LTE".... but in Spain we dont have WCDMA...WTF! , so I decided to flash I9505XXUHOE3_I9505PHEHOE1_PHE_ (4 + Pit Files)" using ODIN.
Now the phone is able to connect without problems to WIFI networks and the network selection menus shows : GSM, GSM + 3G , GSM + 3G+LTE !!! But it continues without data connection (only GSM)
The APN config is fine
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!!

Can't call and recieve calls on Nougat with 4G

Hi,
I did an upgrade yesterday from 6.01 to 7.0. I have an unbranded S7 Edge (exynos). Now it is impossible to make a call or receive a call with settings to automatic 2G/3G/4G. Even just on 4G it is not possible.
When i want to make a call the phone app, after dailing just hangs up. When someone tries to call me the phone does not ring. When i put the settings to 3G everything works fine.
Does anyone have an idea? Allready did a reboot and factory reset.

Did you try performing a data factory reset via stock recovery after installing the firmware?
Here's a guide: http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-pe...set-and-wipe-cache-on-samsung-galaxy-devices/
Yes, also did a factory reset but that did not help. I think it has to do with the CSC file which did not come out in my country.

Yes, the BTU-version with a (HOME_)CSC-file from the lateste MM-rom that officially came out in the Netherlands. I think that there the problem lies. I will wait when they release the offical version in the Netherlands.

You always must flash ALL 4 files for a stable system!
I'm also from the Netherlands, but have NO problems!
User is probably on the "Tele 2"-network which gives indeed problems with 4G-calling (VoLTE) on their network.
When official PHN (Netherlands UN-branded) firmware is available with an updates (Nougat) CSC-files, the problems are (probably) over!
NEVER suggest to people not to flash the HOME_CSC or CSC : you'll have an UNSTABLE SYSTEM and some things are NOT working anymore (i.e. *#1234# )!
I am having the same problem on my Xperia Z3 Plus.
I first updated via OTA from 6.0.1 to 7.0 and experienced the same problem. I also tried connecting the phone to my computer and reinstalling 7.0 with the same result. I am unable to make or receive calls. Thanks Google and Sony.
