hello everyone, I have an International Note 3 N9005 lte from hong kong I already root it and installed TWRP but I hate some things about the chinese rom, I wanted to know if it is possible to flash the stock us unlocked international rom from sammobile...

Find an international rom that has saperate files, flash the csc first then reboot and flash everything, cheers

I have the 16GB Hong Kong N9005 Note 3. I wanted to know whether I can install custom ROMs like X-Note on it? From what I understand the PIT file on the Hong Kong version is different, so I was wondering if that or the smaller memory partition will pose a problem/wipe my EFS?

Sorry guys, I know this has been quite a while. I too have a HK note 3 16gb, and want to custom rom. Do i just do the same rooting and flashing procedures as the normal n9005 or do i have to flash any files before hand? and does all roms work with it? thanks

Seems you have the international model N9005, which is the almost same model I have got. I reckon you should be able install the leaked lollipop rom. The instructions on this forum details what you should do if you have got the 16GB version.

You may need the PIT file for that leaked 5.0, I think.

I recommend you don't try any custom rom (this can upload your bootloader to 5.0 and you will have problems for come back to 4.4.2) or stock rom till the official updates for your country zone.

Hi all my girlfriend just bought a note 3 thinking it would come with a btu firmware but it turned out to have a Hong Kong firmware on it.. I've had a look at ita running 4.3 or 4.4. Android can't remember which one however we tried updating through settings but it can't findo any updates for lollipop...
I haven't tried it with kies as she might be sending it back as it was advertised with a btu firmware. If I can get it to update to lollipop she want me to put the aryamod s7 rom on it like I've got on my n9005 UK version..
I thought it would be easy but then after reading the threads about the hk versionso been different didn't want to brake anything.
If it is possible was its updated which kernel and custom recovery do I use. Would I use the hlte Eur ones

I really need to root my note 4 which is SM-n9100.. There are 2 ROMs for this model which are the chinese one (CHC) with no google services and a lot of crap and the hong kong rom (TGY) with google services and more like the international version. Mine has the TGY rom.
The problem is that the chinese rom of the phone has already got marshmallow update while the TGY version is still on 5.1.1. CF-autoroot has only the latest file to root the SM_n9100 and it is based on 6.0.1 for the China rom. I tried to root my phone with it but i keep getting the error "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" and had to flash the stock rom again. I could flash the phone with the 6.0.1 chinese rom but i don't want to be stuck with the ROM. I also had no luck trying to find an older version of cf-autoroot file based on 5.1.1 as well. Hope you guys can help me.

Recently I bought an N9100 from eBay and I wonder if I can flash it with some stock rom for non-N9100? Maybe, like, N910A? I don't need root, but I do need play store, and marshmallow. Also I wish the initial language be US English. I know that the G930FD can flash a G930F rom for other country, but dunno if the N9100 has any luck.
