Hi i want to know if there's any app that allow me to mirror what im watching on TV (LG with web OS)to my samsung galaxy s5 i know that theres an oficial lg app that can do this but is only compatible with tv's made before 2013 and mine is from 2014 i already check if it work but it doesnt can you help me? Has anyone used a Galaxy Gear with their Google Play Edition S4 running 4.4? I'm interested in getting one, but I can't find the Gear app in the Play Store (I only found "Samsung GALAXY NFC Tagwriter") and I've not been able to find anything that tells me one way or the other if it will work with the Google Play Edition of the S4. Looks too iffy to drop $300 without a better chance of success.

I downloaded the manual for the Gear and it says:
The Charging Cradle contains an embedded TecTile that is used in conjunction with your smartphone’s NFC technology to both acquire the Gear Manager application and aid in automatically pairing the two devices.

So I guess that explains why I can't find the app in the Play Store. It would still be nice to know if anyone with a GPE S4 has been able to use the Gear with success or not.

yes its very frustrating, the Gear uses "gear Manager" which is a Samsung App from their store.
you can install the Gear stubb and the gear manager manually but there is things not working correctly like notifications, I have been searching for weeks for a solution, Devs are you able to include it as part of your Roms?

Helo everyone.i just bought a samsung smart tv 6400 and i found out about the smart view 2 app..but i cant download it to my note 4 it says not compatible..can somebody put the apk up please..tx
Is it the 6400 2013 model or 2014 model what are the letters before 6400. The 2013 models use smartview 1.0 but this version is not compatible with kitkat. 2014 models use smartview 2.0 with new encryption because Samsung don't like competition in third party remote control apps.

Me too I have Note Pro and 4.5 custom app wont work with 8500 H series 2014 tv. Sv 2.0 wont work with my tablet
