[CWM][MOD-ZIP] BootAnimation Changer v1.4

hi everyone, i've made bootanimation changer zip for changing bootanimation.zip without ADB or PC Connection.
You need just a Zip Editor (in PC or phone), and your favourite bootanimation.zip with this zip file.
First of all, prepare your bootanimation.zip, this mod, current nandroid backup, and zip opener/editor (Such as androzip or else..)
-> open your zip manager (for me this is Root Explorer)
-> Extract my zip file any directory
-> put your bootanimation.zip in extracted-folder/system/media/
-> select your "extracted-folder" and choose "zip this folder"
-> your file ready for flashing.
NOTICE: I WILL NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK YOUR PHONE. ALL RESPONSIBLITIES BELONGS TO YOURS
If anything gone bad; restore your nandroid backup..
please comment and tell issues me.

Sir, can I request [CWM][MOD-ZIP] for application?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk
yes but your application's name and path must be changed in updater-script in extracted META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script .
For Example; i have embed Google Maps 5.8 in /system/app folder (this means you make this app SYSTEM APP situation)
1) just extract my zip any place you preferred
2) go into extracted folder and delete system/media/ folder
3) make folder named "system" in extracted folder
4) go into "system" then create another folder named "app" in there.
5) put your apk in "app" folder,
6) for now you have this folder tree:
extracted/cwm-flashable/
--------------------------- META-INF/
-------------------------------------- com/google/android/updater-script and update-binary
-------------------------------------- [few signer files there in META-INF]
--------------------------- system/app/google-maps-5.8.apk
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
7) go into META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script and select "open in text editor"
8) find these lines:
Code:
[FONT="Courier New"]
ui_print("----------------------------");
ui_print("Detected: Samsung Galaxy Ace");
ui_print("google maps 5.8 installer"); <<-- Change app name with version
ui_print("by fatal.blade"); <<---------------------------
ui_print("INFO: ITS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"); <<
ui_print("BACKUP SYSTEM WITH NANDROID "); << DONT CHANGE THESE because it warn you from bricking
ui_print("BEFORE FLASHING THIS UP!!!! "); <<
ui_print("----------------------------"); <<---------------------------
ui_print("->installing google-maps.5.8.apk");
delete("/system/media/bootanimation.zip"); << Remove This Line
ui_print("->bootanimation.zip deleted."); << Remove This Line
package_extract_dir("system", "/system"); << DONT CHANGE IT
ui_print("->google-maps installed"); << Change it with your info
set_perm(0, 0, 0644, "/system/app/google-maps-5.8.apk"); << Change your apk name but not touch numbers
ui_print("->Process Completed.");[/FONT]
9) Save updater-script
10) go to extracted/ and change name of folder before zipping ("I Changed it "cwm-google-maps" ")
11) now you have :
----- extracted/cwm-google-maps/META-INF ----- etc
folder.
12) tap and hold cwm-google-maps folder and select "Zip this folder" Option
13) After zipping process, Select "Go To Extracted" option
14) Finish, you can flash your file with cwm.
that's it. very easy huh?
I will upload example "cwm-google-maps.zip"
cheers, fatal.blade

[S6]New bootanimation in OldStyle!

Hello everyone!
This is my new project for Galaxy S6: a new bootanim!
It is a "remake" of the stock GSII bootanim, my old phone. I've created the .qmg files, but also the .zip file for custom ROMs. For now I've tested it only on a stock based rom. I will leave also the stock PowerOn sound of SII. :good: I'm working on the shutdown.qmg file yet.
Instruction for stock based roms:-Download the .qmg files from the link;
-Grant the superuser access to your file manager (I suggest Es File Explorer);
-Backup your old bootanimation by cute it to internal storage;
-Copy the downloaded files to >>> /system/media, and set the permissions of these files like in the picture (rw- r-- r--);
-Copy "PowerOn.ogg" to >>> /system/media/audio/ui, and set permissions as in the previous file;
-Reboot & Enjoy!
Instructions for custom ROMs:This procedure is not very different from the previous one:
-Backup old bootanimation.zip (/system/media/) to your internal storage;
-Copy the new one to the same dir;
-Set the permissions of these file (rw- r-- r--);
-Reboot & Enjoy!
The Files are in the download section!
Press Thanks button if you liked my BA!
Note:
This operation is not risky, but it is anyway a modding operation. Therefore, I am not responsible for any damages suffered by your device!

Snapdragon camera v2 help

Hi. I flashed snapdragon camera v2. But it stops.
Then i want to remove the android icon with the text com.android.cameralauncher. But i cannot find. It. I tryed flashing the uninstal. And searched with a rooted file explorer. But i still have not located the file. Who can help me?
This is also me something went wrong with my account.

ok... i did it this way (using ES file explorer)
1. extract the zip to sd card somewhere
2. under "system/priv-app" > create a folder called "SnapdragonCamera"
3. give the folder "drwxr-xr-x" permissions
4. copy "SnapdragonCamera2.apk" to that folder and give it "-rw-r--r--" permissions
5. copy the "lib" folder (from the zip you've extracted) to "SnapdragonCamera" folder and give it the same permissions as the parent folder has ("drwxr-xr-x")
6. inside the "lib" folder there is also "arm" folder (give it the same "drwxr-xr-x" permissions)
7. inside that "arm" folder there are two ".so" files - give them "-rw-r--r--" permissions
8. reboot
i have to say it's a nice camera and i've used quite a few camera apps so far...
at the first glance - photo quality is the same as with the xdabbeb camera, but i like the UI better...
my device details:
- LG G2 (d802) running somboons stock 30f lollipop rom
- dorimanx kernel (v5.9.2 latest)
- xdabbeb camera and advanced drivers installed

Yep this was also the solution for my problem

[LGH870][Oreo] How to integrate apps update in rom.

After update from nougat to oreo, I've have problem with integration updated apps in to /system.
I do it like this:
1. copy apk file from data/apk to sd card
2. rename copied apk file to name of /system apk
3. extract lib folder from apk
4. copy newer file to proper folder in /system/app or /system/priv-app and replace file in it
5. Copy lib files extracted form apk to right folder /system/lib or /system/lib64
6. Uninstall update from /data/app
7. reboot + dalvik-cache wipe
In nougat it was working, but in oreo, app after integration, breaks. It cannot be open, and app name changes to random words (ex. google docs name changes to "write com.android").
To repair integrated apps I have to perform a full /data/ wipe.
Is it a some kind of protection? How to do it properly?
TitaniumBackup and Link2SD cannot integrate updates to rom properly without errors since Lolipop.
So no one knows?
or just nobody wants to write?
