Well, in that case you are on wrong thread, this is a recovery thread. If you want a KitKat rom you can grab one of from thread [ROM][PORT] CM, MokeeOS, BeanStalk & BlueLighting, I have found CM and MK good. But all of the ROMs in the thread should have working WiFi. CrysisLTU's CM11 is another very good choice, rom is stable and fast.
But if you're having problems with WiFi even with mine latest CM11 port then are you on the right baseband?

i am a noob
what is the use of the cwm baffinlite is it neccessary ?
if i already have root i just needed the cwm recovery or will it not work
without the baffinlite?

Thanks for your work! As much as I played with the stock rom I couldn't get it just right.
I was able to get the M11 of CM11 on my phone by deleting the "asserts" in the .zip under /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
It took a long time to boot, but after a couple of minutes it got to the welcome screen. It seems to be running smoothly, but if I have problems I'll try to post them in the appropriate place.

Did you mount system before you flashed zip else you can flash zips all day long - nothing will change
