Opening Google - X 2014 General

I don't see any complaints about Moto Voice saying "opening Google" after every query, but it's mildly annoying to me.
Bad ui decision in my opinion. Hopefully they'll allow you to turn it off in a future update.

Yeah, or even read a little bit. Maybe they are looking for stock Honeycomb too.
What's good with ppl on here. Clearly the guy is new to the site. Why is everyone so uptight on here. A simple "no" would hve been more than sufficient. People are turning into jerks on here

Yeah, well, there are also forum rules people are supposed to read and follow. "Search before posting" is one of them. So yes, we get tired of people asking the same questions over and over again, when a look at the first few threads would likely turn up results.
Typed by Z using the Gingerbread keyboard.
While that is true, if you(or whomever responds) just responded explaining that in the first place, this would be a much nicer forum. Everyone is quick to snap at someone on here. On top of that, half the time you search for stuff on here posts like this pop up, with no answer just smart ass remarks

Also by the OP it is clear he didn't read the OP of the Gingerbread ROMs that he found or he would have seen that they are all from a leak that is not fully functional. I apologize for joining in on the jokes but please at least read the OPs in ROMs you try.
Do you BONSAI?

Surely this sort of spam wouldn't be tolerated if it was by another company, clearly it has nothing to do with mobile topics.

Surely the google+ threads are more important than this useless thread. Report the threads and mods will take care of them if they consider them inappropriate. Starting up a new useless thread ain't much help
We make an effort to condense them down to one main thread in off topic.
That said, we can't be everywhere at once, send the relevant forum moderator a PM and they will deal with the situation accordingly.
Theres also the case that people may be wishing to create a specific circle for owners of a certain device, this would be difficult if every thread was merged.

Not that I believe that's what's happening in the offending threads, but that's a very good point.

Well its definitely not the case in most of them, however I have left a couple in sections I moderate due to the fact that they were started with that intention.
Should they turn into an endless invite whoring add4add fest then they will close.

The only "tricks" I know of are by trying to get invited by someone posting something to you, and there's a script in the off-topic forum that retries your invitation URL every 5 seconds. I left that going for over 24hrs and it didn't get in.
I've pretty much given up now. I'll definitely be all over it when I do get in, but I'm not putting my life on hold and waiting for it.

I think some of the issues are that G+ comes up while talking on the forum. Then other are desperate to get an invite. I am guilty of posting in a few of them. But your right. Unless the thread is to create a circle it should be in off topic.

Bro, you expect him to press the thanks button when you just offended him. What are you thinking? He may be a little desperate for a fix, but then he didn't really offend you, he didn't even put his whole reply in caps, and you say he is moaning impatiently. I don't see him doing that. Please think before you post, it's important that we maintain harmony in this forum. If you're not happy with 1 another, take it to pms, or just reply "its working for me though" and wait for other users to test the fix out.

Also, talking about harmony, i think you should take your own advice and next time take a more softened approach instead of straight up insulting me because i was insulted. I know what you are trying to do is right but your method of doing it needs some fine tuning. Now i don't want to argue so mod please lock this thread. :-/

[request] to all

OP/Developers spend a tremendous amount of time helping us all.
What can we do for them?
1) Read the entire thread, from page one! Our questions are normally already answered in previously posted notes. By asking again just lengthens the thread, and delays the work in progress. And everyone else has to read your question (even though it was answered previously). Using the SEARCH tool in the forum, can reveal your answer quickly.
2. Showing appreciation for comments/mods/themes/ROMs/etc/ANYTHING that helped out, should be gratified by simply clicking the "THANK YOU". It is a common courtesy!
3. When to try someone's work & it helps you or you like it. DONATE to them! They have given hours of their private time developing. Plus, think about software costs at retail. Donating a few drinks to them will keep them motivated to develop even more!
Thank you for taking the time to READ this! I only hope you do 1,2,& 3.
Click LIKE if you agree.
Thank you!
