Hi I've done every possible guide to unlock my hermes ive got a virgin payg sim im running manila v16 rom and radio 1.56. There is signal on the bar and the hermes recognises the net work but when i try to make a call it ends straight away.

If you bought it 2nd hand theres a chance it was stolen, or there have been unpaid bills, cotract has been broken and IMEI has been blocked. You won't be able to call...
Otherwise, check your radio version, its in your settings. If its not there then it means you need to reflash your STOCK Radio ROM. This might fix it or might not, though as you've said you have signal its more likely that the phone IMEI has been blocked.

Hi Jagan, I used the network utility cab and could finally resolve the issue of operator name not appearing on the screen.
Another issue that i have noticed since day one is that a small triangle sign (denoting roaming) is constant on the screen even when i am in home network. If I insert any other sim card, it disappears but reappears when aircel card is inserted. Please guide / suggest actions for the same.

As The Handset Is In Roaming.
But its not.

WE all Members have flashed the New Radio None of them found Any problem IN OUR devices.
You Can Flash Any Rom After Updgrading Your Radio Any Many TImes As You want No Problem.. With IT
Note : The Radio Version Works Correctly For All INdian Devices Other Country Device I dont Know If YOu Want Try at YOur Own Risk
For Indian Devices I Recommend To FLash ThE New Radio.

A totally new kid with an android in hand. I have got an android Tablet : Simmtronics Xpad x802, with ics 4.0. I have rooted it. It has a sim card slot. I have a 2G sim of vodafone, BSNL and Aircel. When I insert the sim, I can make call , SMS etc. but when it comes to accessing internet it fails. I googled it & found many solutions but none of them r working. I configured it manually but still same scenario. It is happening with all of the 3 sim cards . Please somebody help me as to what has to be done . Thanx in advance

I tried all the possible solutions like flashing stable rom and again flashing custom rom . But the network is not working. Same is working fine in stable version.Please suggest hte soultion this problem what could be the reason. The Network is not work for almost all custom Roms.
