If you bought it from amazon within the last few days, AMAZON have agreed to price match me and reimburse the difference.

I was one of the lucky ones who got the £430 deal in copper. [emoji14]
Agreed though that price difference in the colours is stupid.

Nexus s Price Drop in UK

Carphone Warehouse has slashed the price of the handset from £549 to only £430 for the unlocked version, a price that includes delivery.
We're not sure why Carphone Warehouse and Google would cut the price of the Nexus S by £119, only days after it was launched; the move might be motivated by concerns about poor sales.
The phone, made by Samsung, is now a better deal compared to the Samsung Galaxy S, the phone on which it is based, one which can be had for £380 including delivery, only £50 less although a "refurbished" will cost well under £300.
We mentioned price as being one of the reasons why the Nexus S would be a failure and it looks that Google choose to play it safe with an early price cut.

Refurbished 16GB iPad2 WiFi $319

Apple.com is offering the iPad2 WiFi model in Black or White for $319 shipped. It comes with a 1 year warranty. Apple is generally very thorough with their refurbished units. They are nearly always in like new condition and contain all original parts and accessories.
Black linky
White linky
Really nice price w/ 1yr warranty!!

Note wifi 32Gb price in US. Where to get the cheapest.

Even after a few months since release note does not seem to have dropped in pricing.. Which i guess is good and bad...
The cheapest one is from amazon is around 550usd..
Most of the online retailers come close to 600usd ( final price including tax)..
Any suggestion for a better pricing for 32gb model ???

Just got my galaxy note 10.1 from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Used - Like New condition. Box was a bit ugly, but note itself was still in original plastic wrappings. Saved about $80 off list price.

I took the same route with the Amazon Warehouse deal. The box looked worn but the tablet inside was either new or never had the plastic taken off of it (oh so much plastic). I bought the 16gb model for $422 (I missed the $450 sale price on a new one by one day).

[Q] Groupon lying about the Nexus 7 price?

http://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-google-nexus-7-refurbished
Can anyone here remember the Nexus 7 being listed at $260?
How about the 16GB version? It's list is now $199. It was $249 at launch, but not now.
List price is what the manufacturer suggests it should sell for and often has no relation to what it actually sells for. Kind of like the difference between retail price and street price. Sellers often use List price for comparison because it makes their deal look better even though smart people know it never really sold at that price. This groupon deal is bogus. Why would anyone pay $10 less than current selling price just to get a refurbished model with a shorter warranty (most are only 90 days instead of 1 year)? Only an idiot would look twice at that offer.
Groupon is a bunch of liars.
It never listed for $260, certainly not a refurbished model.
I often see their "deals" as sounding much better than what is actually the truth. Every so often when I see some heavily discounted product, I look up how much other sites are selling for. Nine times out of ten, you can buy the exact same thing for LESS than the Groupon price at a name brand retailer.
But in this case, the MSRP claim here is a flat out lie. It was $249 at launch, and is now $199. And just because the MSRP *was* $249 months ago doesn't mean it still is.

Done!
Good heads up - and a £10 Voucher included too. So £420.....
what model version is this?
Saw this too late, I missed out!
Nice! Already had it pre-ordered and thanks to Amazon's pre-order price guarantee my order dropped to that price!
has anyone had any suggestion that this was a pricing error on amazon's part - given that the white compact version dropped also the indications are it was deliberate..... presumably they contact you quite quickly if it's not going to be honoured?

I doubt it was an error. It smacks of clever Marketing. No mistake stays live for 20 hours... the weird thing was it became #1 best seller whilst on sale and then that marker disappeared.
Mine is secure with a delivery BEFORE 9am on Tuesday next - a colleague ordered 5 and his are secure too.
Other vendors have been offering this and the white at the same price, but for a shorter time.

I don't think it's an error. The fact they dropped my pre-order price to that level in line with their pre-order price guarantee suggests it wasn't or, at least, if it was they are going to fully honour it.
Handtec doing cheaper.

Scrap that. Exc VAT price

Handtec's only a few quid cheaper than the (current) Amazon price at £501 plus I wouldn't touch Handtec with a 10 foot pole. Grey imports and terrible customer service in my experience.

I'm a bit confused. I placed my order on September 6th for the copper one, and my price has NOT reduced and is still showing as £529. How exactly does this price guarantee work then?
EDIT: Scratch that. It HAS changed if I look at my order, even though it's showing £529 as the current price.
Wow, you'd think Amazon would make a bigger deal when prices fall like this. Throw in the £10 voucher I'll get, plus a £50 gift card I got from Amazon with the Fire phone to review, and this phone is getting cheaper and cheaper by the minute!
presumably the handtec reference was a non VAT comparison? for those with a live order from amazon are you expecting a slightly stripped down version, e.g. no headset etc. and not much beyond the bare handset? advertised box contents seem a little bare, although still great value and getting a bit excited now tbh ?
Yeah, I'm not sure what the Amazon version comes with but it doesn't bother me anyway because the bundled headphones and charger are cack so I've ordered the magnetic charger dock and the NC31 headphones which utilise the noise cancelling in the Z3 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HX9AJ5M/ref=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1).

The Amazon version is standard retail stock. There is only one retail version of each colour.
I did have the Copper one at £430 ordered and also the Black version from Carphone Warehouse for the same price. After looking at many photos online I decided the Copper actually looked like a make-up kit and a bit too girly so cancelled the Amazon order.
The Black is coming tomorrow though and can't wait. Good thing too as the Copper was destined for the 30th delivery which I could not wait for.
Just on way home from Sony Mobile party in London for Z3 launch (as in consumer launch) and the copper looks mighty fine. After having black Z, white Z1 and white Z2 I am excited to have the copper one ordered. Sony will be pushing this hard too.
Same here I alway buy black phones but the Z3 in black looks bland to me, so ordered the Z3 copper version and the black flip case which will look nice together.
Awww. The pre-order always said delivery was today (Tuesday) but since yesterday that has changed to Wednesday. Hope it still arrives today

Mine arrived yesterday. And I was charged the £430. So happy! And in the coming days, I'll get the code to redeem my £10 voucher.
Disappointed Sony doesn't bundle any noise cancelling headphones, like it did with many Z2s. All you get is one screen protector (front only) and a USB on-the-go adapter, plus EP880 1.5A PSU (so not anything to take full advantage of Quick Charge 2.0).
Phone is lovely though, but one other annoyance - Sony not selling inserts for the docks separately. Do I seriously have to buy a new dock just to get the smaller insert that fits the Z3?!
Aw man, don't tell me that
Still no out for delivery notification so looks like it will be tomorrow.
