hello people...im currently using a galaxy mini...im going to start working in a month and i am about to get a brand new galaxy note come june end...do you guys think its worth it?i mean i have read about it EXTENSIVELY, watched many videos, but have never really come face to face with it...
my usage will be for calling, texting, emails , news , games, presentations and other basic stuff like that...im going for the note coz i LOVE BIG SCREENS...im almost six feet tall and have really big hands...
and oh yeah i really dont mind how weird i might look talking over the note
so with all this in mind can i buy it?
It is an amazing phone, I've had it for 2 weeks, different roms have different battery lives, but the stock one is still very good by default.
So, go for it and come tell us about it!

Before I got my Note I was juggling between the Note and a S2 but went for the Note and I'm so happy that I chose the Note over the S2.
Go for Note. Or if you think screen is a bit big then S3 is to be released soon. That would be my next choice.

No the thing is I want big screens...so I'm going for the note..thanxs3 just doesn't cut it for me..it's quad core and all that, but it just doesn't capture me like the note does with the screen,s pen and design..

My note is now three hours old and I am really loving it. I managed to have a good play with the S3 yesterday and in comparison I sill preferred the note.
I am keen to learn more about using the S-pen
even i'm a short boy, i'm still holding the phone! so i belive you deserve this huge guy.
just don't flash ICS roms at the moment and stick to just GB roms to be safe.

IMO, they should sort the availability problem first, as there's still not enough phones, and the cheapest you can get it is >500€ (about $660 usd) in some countries.
That's maybe what they are doing atm, they release the Orb when the not-in-stock situation has settled down a bit..

Well, I suppose that is made clear by the use of the word "yet."
That's pretty cool considering it goes under the battery cover and is from Samsung. It isn't a case or some other external addon that changes the size of what's in your hand.
So, any thoughts on when we may see Cyagenmod for the S5?

I'd like to see this too.
I presume we will only see a version working with s health and fingerprint scanner etc when the Google edition S 5 is closer to release.

I read somewhere it's in the pipeline and could be a few weeks but don't quote me on that, i'm not 100% sure.

M8 got CM11 earlier this week. And the phone was released a couple weeks or so before S5. So I imagine you S5 folks will see CM11 within two weeks maybe.
Apparently though it was six months before Note 3 got theirs. According to something I read last night.
