What did you guys buy with your 50% discount from Samsung?
I purchased the spare battery and dock charger which is 40 dollars and used my 50% discount and it was only 20 bucks?
mines registered and i didnt get a discount.. how and where ? =)

I purchased the same thing. Not because I needed it, but more of a compulsion to buy things that are on sale or discounted.
Haven't registered yet, I used one of the discount codes floating around here - bought the battery kit, and a spare battery. $41 including tax, and shipping, good deal! =)

Make sure you sign in your Samsung account from your phone.
I never got an email
Check your spam and make sure your Samsung account has the correct email address attached to it.
My email was in the promotions tab of my Gmail account. Check there guy's.
I can't find the desktop charger, anyone have a direct link?

I purchased the bumper case and s-view case. Both was $79 got them for $39. Good thing I didn't purchase the s view case in best buy. [emoji1]

The e-bay battery doesn't last any longer than the one that came with the phone, but batt life is totally dependant on phone/ app usage.. It's well worth the $10 for a spare battery, I also got a charger cradle for my setup that charges the spare out of the phone, so I can swap batts when needed.
For those with Best Buy Black Tie Insurance they will give you one new battery per year free. Just call the service number and tell them the battery isn't holding a charge and they will mail out a new one for you.

It is OEM and the rep at the store said she did not hear of anyone getting asked for their old battery back. It kind of gets paid for since it is an extra $3 a month over TEP.

NO, it is entitlement. You are told at the time of signing up for the insurance that you are entitled to a free battery every year.

Read my last post! Be informed instead of ignorant. It is the reason it already costs more than TEP. And there is no replacement for lost or stolen phones like TEP has.
Do you have to buy the phone at Best Buy or can you just show up with insurance request? What about Radio Shack, since I bought my Epic there? I have no insurance. lol When I opened my first line with Samsung Exclaim, I opted no insurance. When I wanted to upgrade, I had to open a 2nd line in order to get the Epic for $99 then I swapped the Epic to the first line (and put the 2nd line on Seasonal Standby). No option for insurance from Sprint. :-/

True, Best Buy does not cover lost or stolen, but they do cover ANYTHING as long as you physically have the phone. You can walk in with a water-logged device that is still dripping and they will give you a refund. Or if the phone gets dropped and the screen is cracked they will give you a refund of the original purchase price loaded on a gift card. Try going to the sprint store and getting a phone replaced with a cracked screen that you clearly dropped!

I have gotten 2 free batteries this year by going into the sprint store and saying my battery performance is down. They just handed me a new battery. Purchased my Epic online Radio Shack for a 58 dollar special. Who needs insurance. As a premier customer I can upgrade every year. If my phone breaks I will go back to my touch pro 2 modified with android. It does everything the epic does but slower. I can wait till the end of the year find another special. With those prices why pay the extra monies.

Thank you for that wonderful information. A lot has changed at Black Tie. They now Rapid Exchange pretty much no questions asked. If you tell them there is problems with the phone they order you a new one. This also increases the buy back value at Best Buy. If you have them buy it back after 2 years it is $130 value. So if you get a free new replacement after a year the buy back is like $ 150 or more.

what I am saying is the BT protection ISN'T offering you free batteries for no reason. It is a no-deductible insurance claim. The T&C even states they will replace it only if the battery is damaged. Just because your BB reps aren't checking doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.
Oh I misread. No, I wouldn't put in a claim for 2 "free" tires just because I could. Nothing in life is free...

I loved mine until it broke. I'm 99% certain that I knocked a chip loose when taking it out of the watch holder. Otherwise, it wasn't too bad. Definitely a fun toy.
For $20, I'm willing to try again. I'll just not take it out of the watch holder!

I am gonna get one of these and I don't care about the free wireless charger from Best Buy. With that being said, would I get it faster if I ordered tonight from AT&T and chose overnight shipping? Or would it still get here Friday by time it shipped?
I did not pay for overnight shipping. And got the phone tyne next day.

I'm not too pressed to get it fast so I went with best buy and dropped $50 for the deposit over getting it straight from AT&T, best buy is doing the wireless charger plus $200 in store credit with any smart phone trade in so come Friday I'll be there with an old lumina to get mine.
