Nexus 9 India Availability and Models - Nexus 9 General

Hi, I saw a similar thread for N6, but one for the N9.
I saw the play store listing for the N9, and it only shows the Wi-Fi 16GB model. I am interested in the LTE 32/16GB 802.11ac 2x2 model.
Anyone having any information on this?

The 32GB LTE model is listed in the play store for Rs.44,900/-
There is already a thread for the availability, pricing, etc in India:

Please use the thread linked here ...

Where I can buy the 64GB version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with both 3G and WiFi?

Does anyone know a reliable source anywhere I can buy the 64GB or even 32GB version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with both 3G and WiFi? (I've recently been scammed by a company in China offering a 64GB version)
As far as I know, the 64GB in either Wi-Fi or 3G doesn't exist yet. UK resellers just started to receive the 32GB 3G model on Friday (9/30). The arrival date for the 64GB model is supposed to be mid-October. Both have been delayed repeatedly. My 32GB 3G is supposed to be delivered on Wednesday.

32GB 3G is available in Singapore for past 2 weeks .. I'm waiting for the 64GB if it ever comes.
This flash memory is installed to the board, isn't it? Maybe the flash storage can be changed by opening the device?

I got mine from a B2B reseller that doesn't sell to the public through a work connection. Clove is supposed to get their first shipment in this Friday and they're easy to deal with for U.S. shipments. It's 500 GBP delivered via DHL 2-day.

They both do/will. The Wi-Fi version of the 32GB has been available since launch. The 64GB hasn't been available in either 3G or Wi-Fi. The 3G 32GB is rolling out in the UK this week and the 64GB in both Wi-Fi and 3G is supposedly going to be available in "mid-October." T-Mobile U.S. is releasing a 16GB version that runs on their AWS HSPA+ network on 10/26. I don't know if it'll support AT&T's bands and off-contract it probably won't be any cheaper than importing an unlocked one from the UK. And as those using a VZW Tab have seen, being dependent on a carrier for updates sucks. All of this info is for the EU/UK where Samsung sells direct to consumer. Who knows what their plans are for the U.S. Additionally, Samsung won't sell unlocked 3G/4G devices in the U.S. because of their relationships with the U.S. carriers.

P.S. - Someone's posted different availibility in Singapore. That doesn't do the rest of the world any good as it's impossible to export one from there.

Yes they do, I have had my 32gb 3G tab 10.1 for 2 months now here in South Africa.
On my second tab, as after a month I had the dreaded newton rings which Samsung promptly exchanged and gave me a new one.
Singapore just released the 3G version of the 64GB yesterday .. snag myself a set !

Nexus 7 2013 LTE now available in Play Canada.

Just ordered mine.
Looks like we don't get a free month of data - no SIM is offered (at least not on their site... but it's not entirely updated.. the detail section still shows the LTE model as 'coming soon'...)
I really wanted the LTE model but after using Bluetooth tethering of my 32GB WiFi to my GS3 I think i'm fine.
Enjoy yours when you get it!

Q: Which markets are getting the 64gb internal storage version

Had anyone heard of which markets are getting the 64gb internal storage version? Samsung has already advertise that a 64gb version will be releases but local retailers have no info on the matter.
Some obscure Asian markets and probably some sheikhs in UAE, Dubai and Iran.
As always, it will be available in 64gb in some obscure market on the other side of the planet
Thankfully it's 32gb minimum which softens the blow compared to the usual

Moving to Q&A
If anyone finds out which country gets N9005 (LTE, Snapdragon 800 version) with 64GB internal storage, that supports LTE bands 4 and 17 (AT&T) - please post here.
To answer question in the OP - Samsung UK and Australia already published official specs for their Note 3 version, as well as their carriers, and those countries offer the 64GB model. I'm sure more to come.
Unlikely to see 64gb version compatible with USA lte. And the slight chance you do expect to pay big big bucks. Unless a dev version comes out or a carrier picks it up.
And yet Samsung is releasing a GN3 16GB in Hong Kong, no word if they will get a 32GB GN3 at all. How odd is that.
bump...anyone has a list of markets, which are getting the 64GB internal storage Snapdragon 800 version? Not asking for speculations, only if you have the actual info, please

Just found this one.
Very expensive, will call tomorrow to verify 64Gb internal memory. Not sure I'll be getting it at this price though, may wait a while.

Thanks for sharing. When you call ask them the following questions:
- Is bootloader locked?
- Is is region locked?
- Is it carrier network locked?
- Why the hell the specs page says "Octa Core 2.3 GHz Processor " if it's N9005, LTE version?

The person I spoke to didn't have a clue.
She stated all the phones come unlocked and not locked to any carrier, didn't know anything about bootloader locking.
Asked about the processor and she started to talk about processing the order.
Asked about the CPU and all she said was it is all in the specification page.
I asked if the phone would work on the Australian Telstra 1800MHz 4G LTE network and she said, "yes definitely".
I'm still in two minds. I need to step back and wait a few days on this decision, it's a lot of money for a Phablet/portable computer.

Looks like you didn't do a very good job when calling these people. Exynos SoC does not have LTE modem, so there is no N9005 LTE version with Octa core chip. That is clearly a mistake in the specs and you can take it to the bank. The person you spoke to has absolutely no technical knowledge, if you pointed out that CPU mistake and she still referred you to the specs page. Therefore the crediblity of her satement the phone works on Telstra's LTE network is zero.
I don't understand how you can even consider buying such an expensive device, without knowing what CPU it has, if it's region locked or not, if bootloader is locked and how much internal memory it has. I'd suggest calling back and asking to speak to person, who understands technical specifications of the product they sell - they gotta have staff members who do.

Go top Mobiciti.com.au. They tell you the actual radio bands for each model, and if it will work on Telstra/Optus 4g (a major Q by customers these days). The N90005 does. As far as I am aware, the others ('00 = Otca, '02 = dual sim) do not.
[edit: OK, the 64GB is not for sale in Oz yet, if ever, but they have the info, anyway)

Richard; Hi, I have a few questions regarding the 64Gb Galaxy Note 3 PRODUCT CODE HOSS00073BK
Customer Support For more great discounts, please check our other website: http://www.camerasky.com.au/

Jo; Hello
Richard; Hi Jo,
Richard here,
I was speaking to someone earlier today about your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 LTE 64GB Black (4G). PRODUCT CODE HOSS00073BK.
I am very interested in buying this, however I have a few concerns.
A) Samsung has put 2 CPU models out for this phone
1. Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 which is Quad core @ 2.3 Ghz
2. Exynos 5 which is an Octa Core 5420 @ 1.9 Ghz
Samsung has not released a model that has Octa Core @ 2.3 Ghz as stated in your specification page
B) The other concern is that The Octa Core version that Samsung released does not support LTE, only the Quad Core version does.
The person I spoke to was in the process of referring the matter to her technical team for clarification.
She was also going to ask the technical team if the phone has a locked “Boot loader”
Sorry for the long post, Hope you can help
Jo; Thank you for contacting us. I see, Allow me to check this with our Technical team, your question may have also been sent to them. One moment please
Richard; I had to go to work ealier and so could't finish the conversation, I appreciate your time
Jo; I see. I am checking now Richard
Richard; thank you
Jo; Hello Richard .Thanks for waiting
Richard; Thats fine
Jo; Our technical team advised that it has a locked bootloader
Richard; Okay thanks for that, Any news on what type of CPU is in it? The Quad Core 2.3Ghz or the Octa Core 1.9Ghz?
Jo; About that, im still waiting for their advise
Richard; Okay Thanks
Jo; Hello Richard. Thanks again for waiting. They just advise that its Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400
Richard; That's Great news, I means the phone will work with the LTE. one other question. I know the European phones are having issues with region locking and was wondering if this phone also is region locked?
Jo; No Richard, all the phones are unlocked"
Thanks for the update, although pasting full convo is not really necessary. Summarize it next time - people dont wanna read long posts. As far as bootloader being locked - I suspected as much, confirmation was just a formality. Samsung USA support supervisor confirmed to me there will be a developer edition of GN3 later on, so I hope Samsung makes one with 64GB of internal storage as well.
As far as your last question goes from that live chat - based on his/her response that person doesn't know what "region lock" is and was referring to carrier network lock when he/she said it is unlocked. Next time if you get a response like that - clarify or even paste them these links:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2457964
http://blog.clove.co.uk/2013/09/25/samsung-galaxy-note-3-sim-limitations/
Bump...it's been confirmed the Australian 64GB version is not region locked, but the 2 major online retailers I asked said it has locked bootloader. Anyone know if there are any places in Australia, which sell the 64GB LTE model with unlocked bootloader?
EDIT: make it 3 major online retailers - just got response from Kogan. Their Notes also have locked bootloader
If someone knows of a country where they sell 64GB internal storage N9005 model, or has a link for a store that is selling it (preferably in stock, not pre-order) - please post here

I really wanted a 64gb, I ended up getting the 32 exynos from mobicity (australia). As far as I can tell the 64 isnt available anywhere in the world at the moment, and none of the handful of sellers Iv spoken to have any idea about when/if theyre going to get it. The more reputable online stores such as mobicity dont put a placeholder up unless they know for sure theyre getting it, and if there is an issue they will call you (Today i got a call from mobicity saying the galaxy gear lime green i ordered may not be coming in for a while, they dont know when they will get stock but they have black in stock so they can ship me one of those immediately if i prefer.)
That store you posted is clearly a case of clueless people writing up a placeholder item sheet for an item they have heard about and assume they will get since samsung announced it, but know nothing beyond that. If the specs page is poorly written and incorrect and it says "available for preorder", that should tell you all you need to know...
I don't think my phone has any kind of reigon lock - it didnt have any kind of reigon sticker on the box and from what samsung and mobicity have said I gather no sticker means no lock. Perhaps only asia pacific models are reigon free?
EDIT: I missed Apo11on's post, IF kogan's ones are bootloader locked I imagine mobicity's and anyone else's are the same. Unless there is a difference between the exynos and snapdragon as far as region locking.

Looks like you were dead on with that prediction. Here is a Qatar listing, where seller claims to sell 64GB Note 3: http://www.qatarliving.com/mobile-devices/mobile-phones/advert/samsung-galaxy-note-3-64gb
And here is Samsung UAE specs page for Note 3, which *does* list the 64GB internal storage version: http://www.samsung.com/ae/consumer/mobile-phones/mobile-phones/galaxy-note/SM-N9005ZKEXSI-spec
Can anyone from that region actually confirm Note 3 is being sold with 64GB of internal storage?
I can't confirm but that is often the case. Middle east and Asian markets usually get the bigger storage versions. If you have connections with T-Mobile you can try to get them to order you one. Need a sales rep with connections or know how.

Which provider? Airtel has LTE dongles available in a few cities but that's a dongle.
Afaik Reliance, Videocon and Aircel have plans and they might eventually roll out these services in the next couple of years but none of it (excluding Videocon) is supported by N7 or any other LTE phone currently available here with the exception of iPhone 5S and 5C because they use different bands.
Videocon on the other hand will use the widespread FD-LTE which the N7 supports, so Videocon is your only option.
Check the bands. LTE in India is TD-LTE not so in Europe and US or rest of the world.

every dongle has a SIM card inside it, n thts wht u need.
go to any service provider's showroom, almost all of them hav tailor made data plans for non-calling tablets.
and the manager at my local "airtel gallery" himself told me that airtel will launch 4g services in whole of maharashtra by jan2014 end.
I should say I was talking about lte as a whole (Volte, csfb..) earlier.
Even then, Airtel and everyone else with the exception of Videocon uses TD-LTE (different freq and band, 2300mhz and 38/40 iirc) which the N7 does not support.
Off topic but I want to ask something.
I want to buy Nexus 7 tablet for my wife and kid daughter (3 years old, she play games). But I am kind of confused right now.
I know there is considerable difference between Nexus 7 2012 and 2013. But there is also huge difference in prices too.
Nexus 7 (2013) 32GB is selling for 24,000 Rs on Play store. And
Nexus 7 (2012) 32GB is selling for 10,800 Rs on Flipkart (with 10% discount).
So I am totally confused among these two. Is 2013 version really that much better to justify that much price difference, more then double.
Can someone suggest. Thanks
^^
You could buy it from Amazon if you want for 16.8k + duty which will come to about 21k i guess.

Flipkart is selling it now for same prices as Google Play. It also comes with warranty of course.
So we might also buy new Nexus 7 32GB at 22k with 10% cashback on Flipkart.
I bought Nexus 7 2012 in Feb and it was nice tablet. We usually watched videos, internet surf and play fruit ninja or angry birds, kind of stuff. Then I gave this tablet to my niece. And I was waiting for new Nexus 7 but release price is kind of steep and since Nexus 7 2012 is available for a lot cheaper, I am not able to decide.
Will buying 2013 version wiser considering we can get 2012 at half price?
I think that depends on how you are going to use it, for lightweight games and multimedia the 2012 one should suffice, but then i've not used one of these so you should probably wait for a reply from someone who has used both.
At 10k it is a steal though!

You could try taking it to Asus for international warranty (after trying the fix of course). I don't have touch issues but i have that stain around the Nexus logo on the back unfortunately.
Flipkart now selling 16 GB Nexus 7 2012 for 7,999 Rs only and 32 GB for 11,999 Rs only.
If you want to buy this one then hurry. You might not get better deal in future.
I purchased last weeks for 1000 Rs more.

Nexus 7 lte versions

Has the lte versions with simcard slots been discontinued?
Can't find any for sale on the Google store.
Were there problems with them?
Sorry. I found it. I didn't realize it was only available as a 32 g version.
