[Q] Dead Lenovo A3000-H - A3000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My tablet totally cannot on when on battery. The screen brights up then goes blank if I connect it to my computer. The Lenovo logo appears and the screen goes blank swiftly if I charge it.
I had tried the power + vol down button and the reset button beside the SIM slot. The SP Memory Test gave me the error "Nand flash was not detected". I can successfully download the firmware using the SP Flash Tool. In a desperate attempt, I also tried to format it.
Anyone can shed some light on how I can go about solving the problem or is it hopeless?

[Q] Stuck in Clean Boot - Help!

Hi, I was in the middle of Flashing my Acer Neotouch S200 when the usb got knocked out. I now cannot get back into bootloader mode at all. I try to do this by holding the camera, volume and power buttons while holding down the reset button.
I simply go into the clean boot screen where it is stuck. Please, please help! Is there anything that will let me flash it again?
One other thing, if an microSD card is inserted into the slot and I try to get it into bootloader mode, the blue led turns on then the red led flashes twice every 5 seconds. Is that normal because it did it before the flashing process was interrupted but when I took the microSD card out the PC would recognize it to be in bootloader mode.
I tried looking on other posts but nothing worked
Problem Solved!I managed to get it into bootloader mode by pressing volume down, camera and power buttons while holding down reset rather than having both volume buttons.
did you do backup?

If you havent totally screwed up the phone, you can always go to the recovery mode (even if the phone doesnt power on) by pressing the 'up' volume button and the power button. Once you get to the recovery mode (or manage to bring up the boot logo), keep pressing the power button till it turns off completely. Now you can use SP flash tool to flash your ROM.

Hi!
I don't know if you've already fixed this issue, but last night I managed to resolve this!. My lenovo s860 had the same symptoms as described above. My PC didn't recognise the device when it was connected with an USB cable. This is what I did:
1.) I bought an JIG. The revival didn't work like the Samsung phones, but it does make the battery unloaded.
2.) Unload the battery by placing the Jigg about 8 hours
3.) Install the MTK drivers (when not already installed)
4.) Download the original Lenovo s860 Rom and Flash tool by clicking this link (It took a while to download the whole file... ):
forum . etbuying . com / viewtopic . php ?f=18&t=4017&sid=6e8f4a06df858bf1f2f27b7c02be56e5
5.) Password = "et"
6.) Open Flash tool and try to set the standard language to English (Hint: use the Chinese .pdf file to locate the language settings)
7.) Open scatter file in the Lenovo Rom map
8.) Choose "Firmware Upgrade" in the pull down menu
9.) The row with "user data" has no path filled. Choose the same path as the other files (select the "user data.bin" file).
10.) Click Download/Start
11.) Connect your unloaded phone to your PC with the USB cable. and the download+installation of the firmware will start
The same problem
My Lenovo S860 is detected by the computer, but SP Flash Tool does not start transfering the files to my phone. It does nothing when pressing power button or power + volume up + volume down. It is a shame that Lenovo did not instal a reset button on this phone.

Hi,
I'm not sure what happened but phone now can't boot, can't enter recovery, can't flash any ROM.
Just red light when connected to usb power.
None of the propositions worked. Does anyone has better suggestion?

Just hold power button until it reboot again
Just wait for 1-2 days until it ran out of battery power then you can start flashing back the original firmware. Just follow exactly the instruction of flashing a firmware using SPTools.
s860..
i`ll had same problem.. cant turn on .. only red light when usb connected.. go to phone shop they keep say IC problem.. no logo lenovo show juz blank screen and pc dont detect my hp..
Solved This Problen (Unbrick S860 Deadboot)
I've found a way to solve this period. It turned out very easy. It turns out if you experience your S860 deadboot (hh dead condition, and just out the red glowing led) just remove your casing and just pull the battery connector and flash again using flash tool. Then say it is done. Hope this helps you all
Hi, I tried everything but my s860 is freezing at 26-30% while flashing stock rom, tried several links, with or without battery, several different versions ot SP Flash tools, every time around 330mb freezes. Can u give me some rom which is smaller 300mb so I can try flash it?
Whicj screw/screwdriver do i need?

help needed to repair Samsung GT-I9500

Hello dear forum users. Help me to repair Samsung gt-i9500 phone. The phone turns on but it does not boot beyond the logo. It is impossible to turn off the phone either. I have to remove the battery to turn it off. I wanted to do a hard reset, but it didn't work either. I went into factory mode, but the on / off button just does not work there to select menu items. There are 6 items in factory mode menu: 1)Full test 2) Item test 3)Test report 4)clear eMMC 5)version 6)reboot. I read on the Internet that clear eMMC is a hard reset, but I can’t choose. The phone does not respond to pressing the on/off button to select. The phone does not respond when trying to select other items too. I have googled that i need to flash the phone in this case. I connected the phone to the computer using a usb cable. Installed the driver.I entered factory mode on the phone.Phone is successfully recognised by Windows. I downloaded sb flash tool and downloaded one of GT-i95** MT6575 roms also.I have launched sp flash tool and choosed scatter file from rom folder that i have downloaded and pressed download button. But process didnot started and nothing happened. Sp flash tool didnot started process.I have attached screenshot of device info from Skipsoft Android Toolkit. I dont know why it have strange serial number . Maybe someone tried to repair it but unsuccessfully or i dont know.I can run adb on this device and can view files on this device with adb. I dont know how to get root on this device with only adb option to interact with device.I cannot get to download mode also . It shows me red triangle with exclamation mark. In this screen i pressed on/off button + vol.up button to enter . No response to this from device. Also Windows didnot recognise device when i pressed vol.down + home+on/off .It shows unrecognised device in device manager. But in Factory Mode this device was recognised by Windows. So i stucked in repairing this device. So guys what to do next to repair this device ? thanks for answers.
