JB ROM GAPPS by tantrums

Most you might have seen in the portal news about the gapps package by Recognized Contributor TANTRUMS.
Named MultiPack++ it is a separate zip that is to be flashed after any CM/AOKP/AOSP ROM exactly as you would with a regular GAPPS package, the difference here is that it’s made using the Aroma Installer and therefore allows you to pick exactly which of the Google Apps you want to install, while at the same time giving you the option to remove any system apps you don’t want. It also includes numerous other features such as the option to install different launchers, fonts, and even a GPS fix for those who may require it.
This news feed will be lost in the portal because of new portal news so i have a request for all the developers of X8 community who have made/are making/will be making Jellybean roms, to add a link to MultiPack++ ( http://d-h.st/cyO )in their thread. It will be beneficial for the new members or those who missed it out or are too lazy to search.

At first i try to download 3 - 4 apps with an average size of 10 - 30mb .. the apps was downloaded perfectly ..
And then i try to download more bigger apps .. Like fifa 14 .. But it keeps getting false size .. And the website told me to use the chrome extension ..
The problem is the extension permission policy . It needs all detail to my google account .. Uhmm .. i just felt unsecured ..

Thanks a lot for this mod. However there are a few apps that are force closing: gmail, keep. Also the google dailer & contacts theme didn't change. Otherwise everything else seems to be fine. I'll report

the link is working and this is tested on stock 4.4.4 kitkat only, are you using AOSP ?!

then clear the data for keep and gmail from setting but fyi, it worked for me without clearing any of the apps data

Hi, first wouldnt it be better to put the rom in the Android Development section?
Anyways, I was using the MIUI7 from their website where it was bloated if I can say it like that with Chinesse apps and Aroma.
So I want to ask , did you do any changes on it besie translating it and remvoing chinesse?
Like any optimizations? P.S apparently when the full MIUI7 comes out it will be based on Lollipo so thats a plus I guess.
I enjoyed it but it had some slowdowns and lag on it and the camera wasnt that good really.
So what do you think of MIUI7 so far?

I downloaded the official Miui 7 Rom yesterday.

Flash it on my XZ. Everything is working fine and smooth.
Only the Bug is Facebook and Messenger App.
Any Bug Fix for Facebook and Messenger for this rom?

I also installed MIUI, found that 55.0.0.18.66 Facebook works. And 50.0.0.4.67 Messenger. But there is one more bug, when in call I can't turn on my screen to end it or use anything else.

I don't face that screen bug. Because i have a Unlock Bootloader.
If you have a unlock bootloader than you'll have to Wipe Everything expect External SD Card. Than Flash the rom.
And Thanks for the Facebook Bug Information.

Can you make it as a system app / flashable zip?

Good idea, as there is nothing comparable in the store, without loads of bload. What did you take as a base for your porting, please?

I will make you one tomorrow, but if you're rooted there are apps like Titanium Backup that you can use to move apps to system.

It's just Google source, no port.

Flashable zip
Flash it with TWRP: it will be flashed in system\priv-app\Gallery2
I have renamed the apk to 'Gallery2.apk'
(Tested and used in AICP nougat 7.1.1)
TIP: Remove 'gallery2.apk' before flashing the new one!

1. Hint for other users: if you have Google+ installed, there is a Google Fotos version in the Google+ package that will be installed automatically with Google+. This one is named with the same package name as this gallery app here. So you will receive an error while installation. Uninstall Google+ and you will succeed.
With this version there is no possibility for a coexistence between those two apps as user apps.
2. If you try to edit a pic, by pressing the edit pencil within the app, it FC's.
This has to be fixed.

What android version are you using?
I have flashed the zip file above on Nexus 5 Nougat 7.1.1 AICP 12.1 nightly:
1. No errors with Google+: I can not reproduce your error
2. No errors when editing pictures

Nexus5 EuclideanOS (based on Pure Nexus) => really a great ROM ...
I haven't flashed your zip. I installed the app from OP.
I haven't installed a gallery2.apk as well. The package name of the app must be the same as the one from the build in Fotos app in Google+. I figured that out.
Maybe flashing as a system app could be a solution for both problems, but I don't want to have it as a system app.
Just wanted to let others know, that are facing the same issues.
