I watched the video for the installation of the G906s rom. I would like to ask if it's ok to install from the internal download folder or does it have to be installed from the SD card? The phone is rooted and cvm installed. It's my first time so please excuse me if this is a dumb question.

Hi - Firstly thanks for the ROM, I somehow could not install the ROM due to MD5 check sum error however I got thru with the addon. THe problem I am seeing now is that I don't get the call merge option. I can only see Swap and not merge.
Any idea on how to get it resolved

I updated my S5 G906K (Korean) with a custom ROM... I don't think I updated the Modem, though... What implications does that have? Should I update it as well?

Just tried it but Odin gives me an Auth Error...
Do ROM and Modem files need to be in pairs? My ROM file is one before the current one, so maybe I'd have to update both?
Or are they completely seperate to each other and can be updated as such?

it is not a problem of kernel, but of the g2. when restart the smartphone between 100 and 90% comes the problem, under 90% it doesn't happen. so don't restart g2 before 90% of battery

Hi all,
I'm on a 20g stock rom + root + TWRP + modem 20h + bruce v0.41.
Since I've flashed the Bruce Kernel v0.41, I can't see my memory card 64 Gb.
I don't have problems with other memory cards =< 32Gb.
I've also formatted my 64gb memory but the problem is still here.
I tried my 64 gb memory card with other device ... no problem so the problem is in the combination of my LG G2 and my memory card (until now I don't have problems to read 64gb memory card)
I'm not sure it's a matter of kernel but the coincidence is strong.
Can someone help me?

Will this kernel work on a stock d802 20h rom? I saw somewhere that it is made for 20d roms, but maybe I misinterpreted that?
Edit: I only just noticed that on this page there are people with 20g and 20h roms using the kernel, so I guess I have my answer. Sorry, I had only read the first 20 pages or so.
Edit 2: Works fine, and my G2 does feel snappier now. I hope the missing thermal throttling won't become a problem.
The main thing for me is that the headset hissing problem is gone now, although I also needed to enable the G2 Tweaksbox fix to completely remove the hissing.

For now you can install ONLY TouchWiz 4.4.2 based Roms, so no CyanogenMod for now...I personally use this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2958250 You flash the zip of the rom and then the kernel. ....that's it

Yes only Bluetooth doesn't still work for now. ..Apart this, everything work great in this rom for me

Download Rashr from play store and flash this recovery https://www.dropbox.com/s/uroyom1c1ds9srd/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-jfvelte.img?dl=0 ........to do this you open Rashr go to option "recovery from storage " and then you choose the file downloaded of recovery. ...But BEFORE flashing it with rashr you have to rename that file in "recovery.img" ok?Many people say that doing this can prevent brick/bootloop of the device. ....

@AhmadRkein, i guess (just guess), that ther's some kinda weird, in the instalation, in the ROMs, maybe some module in the kernel.
Galaxy S4 VE GT-I9515L, had a main international version without L.
In G+ topic comunity, some mates there (and i guess they certainly walking arround here), install the Ambassi Rom with your kernel, even without bluetooth working, and guess what?
In some devices (probably all i9515 L), there's NO noises.
In others devices (like me, L too) YES for noises like cracking the front speaker during calls.
Seemns like the treble regulator stayed crazy, lolol. But what Gimenez says is true, nothing did with GoogyS Tweaks solve it.

Super Noise patch i9515 442, 444
The patch is ok while the rom use, but for calls mmm nathing good. hears enough noise, and not even to speak of. i have try the older and the new update in some roms, and always the same whith the noise. the bluetooth is ok with the last update 4.4.2., but call forget.
it's still a great job. impressive!!!

I can't access Internet
Plus sometimes It doesn't find my wifi network ( it finds non actually)
Plus I can say that the speaker is working fine during calls

Its perfectly working now
I installed netherland stock rom
Cache , dalvik cache and data wipe
then chosed netherland while installing the imperium rom( it asks.this after the gps fast tweaks stuff)
Then
I flashed s5 ultra pack file from recovery
Then also data + dalvik + cache
Then your kernel
Every thing works perfectly till now)

Ps: i dont know if the Netherlands stock rom helped or not but i was using the turkish rom and there was no turkish option while installing the imperium rom so that came to my mind

Backup with Titanium to internal storage. Clear the data and cache, restore. This should fix the external card issue, assuming your sdcard is not corrupt then you would need to re-format it.

RESPONSE
HI ALL, IM using this rom on my 910h variant of the note 4 with no issues so far, SD card works, 3 mint mod, works, volume boost works. The rom is fast and smooth, the only thing not working at the moment the 4 power menu. I hope this helps some of you.

Hello guys, my question is whether we need to update bootloader and modem in order to flash Masik Lollipop before actually moving to lollipop. In other words do i have to flash bootloader and modem while being in 4.4.4 stock or i can do it after flashing the rom itself? Ty in advance

I`m stuck on the Smasung Note 4 screen and nothing happens.
I diid clean install with full wipes of everything, but still no success.
Tried 4 times with different options....
realy want to try this rom but can`t.

Looking forward to this, Rom especially according to his (better) battery-efficiency, luckily with a few mods which sounds very good to me, as in being a Noob and therefore no need for + no Bloatware !

I had the same issue but only when I tried to flash the masik rom from a Stok rom, so my solution was install first any other lollipop custom rom and after a successful boot, back to recovery and install the Masik rom

Anyone have an issue with the camera? when I try to record a video the quality its great but without sound and if I try to record a voice memo it is fine, the audio is good.

just had a query to ask does this rom also has two builds of rom one for screen lock bug users & one for normal users like the other lp 5.1 roms or everything is packed in a single rom build....& is everything working well like the camera & other things ..as i am currently using mukulsoni cm12.1 for screen lock bug users it has certain limitations when compared to normal users without screen lock bug...hope you rectify all those bugs in the coming days.. if you want testers for this rom i will feel happy to help you as i am using screen lock bug variant of grand 2 ....feeling gr8 to have you back in the developers section of our grand 2 forum

@aapav01 Sir, I hope you have a separate version (like mukulsoni did with his ROM) for those who have devices with lockscreen bug. I installed your ROM and I'm now currently experiencing it.
Lockscreen Bug: When I lock my screen and try to unlock it, the screen stays black. You can here sounds but there is no display.

On Lollipop why is the Internal ROM only 5Gb when it should be 8Gb? It happens for CM12 and CM12.1
