Visual Voicemail
When i installed this rom i no longer have access to my Visual Voicemail. I did before I flashed the Rom now it wont work. Any suggestions?

You have to install Visual Voicemail as it is not included in the ROM. Follow these instructions to get it back. Also it sounds like you dirty flashed, otherwise it would not be there. Any further problems will require a clean flash of the ROM by entering SafeStrap. Preform a factory reset and advanced wipe by checking Dalvik Cache, Data, Cache and System.
I did install via safe strap but I just downloaded the apk then installed. By doing it the system/apps way it got it working again. Thank you so much

I have a question about sms notifications. How do I remove the contact pictures from the notifications. I removed the stock sms app and retried both 8sms and chomp but the pictures still show. The only way they don't show is by using the privacy settings but then I can see who is texting me.

I don't get the picture in notifications, I'm using 8sms and have the stock mms installed. As for the late reply I apologize. I didn't get any notification in my email like I do normally.

Hello. I am not able to access the Volte on/off in my settings even though it has been added to my account. I need to be able to use the 6 way conference calling feature. Any help is appreciated.

If you are on V17 it is in the settings menu under more networks/mobile networks. I had it enabled on my phone but I disabled it because I don't like it at all. The feature hasn't been removed from the ROM so it will work. Sometimes VZW takes a while to activate it.
I am on v17 but that option is not there. Does verizon need activate it or to do something on the back end before I see it at all? I already added it to my account. Please see the attached.

Yes, it will not show up until you either activate it online in your account features or call VZW on the phone.
I installed stock mms and 8sms and still get pictures when receiving messages I removed the contact pictures and then it will give me the senders initials I've tried both stock ricks rom and your debloated rom I use a ni2 heavy debloater but it still shows contact pictures any help would be great

My mistake. I usualy don't have contact pictures so I added one to try it out. When I added it I didn't save the contact so the pic didn't show. I just tried it again and saved the contact with the pic and it dose show up in the notifications as yours dose. I don't think there is a option not to show the picture if there is one for the contact. Sorry for the confusion.

Visual Voicemail
Long-time lurker, first time poster here...
Has anyone succeeded in making the Visual Voicemail APK work properly? I've tried on multiple devices under R16 and now R19.2. If I boot to stock, VVM works great. If I boot to the ROM where I've installed the APK, it will launch, sit at "please wait while we check your account information", and then eventually error out.
Unfortunately, since I've activated the HD Audio in my Verizon account (which also activates the free version of VVM), I don't get any notifications as to having a VM waiting (since it relies on the VVM app, which isn't working!)
Few post back... On the first page.... U will have to install it using root explorer. System/ apps/ paste the apk file. Reboot.

The title is kind of misleading.
This isn't AOSP , but a sort of skin for an HTC rom to look like vanilla.

by optional, you mean that the nexus launcher is already installed, just not default right?
does nexus launcher work? having some problems with other roms with it, a lot of force closing and freezing up.

There is no Youtube app and the Nexus live wallpaper stays white, other then that and the auto rotation issues once its fixed iys gonna be my daily rom
yeah this is the kind of rom i have been waiting for so once the auto rotation is fixed it will be my daily rom to.

weird because it sync'd all my facebook people, but with no photos

1) would it be possible to put navigation on this rom?
2) would it be possible to take the messaging app from this and use it on another rom?

google maps installs fine from market... and there navigation r0x.

Gtalk is good app for chat and works great on 2.3.5, but after flashing ICS/JB of any rom it missing a display option of "Availability for all friends".
because of this i'm unable to see all the friends who are online.
hope google may removed this option any help from developers/members ?

Reflash the rom or change the rom,try clearing the data for gtalk /reinstall the app

I done almost everything, changed so many roms cleared data and deleted app with root explorer and re installed the app.
tha gtalk app is working properly and even video chat also. but the problem is the way it is showing my friends list.
Let me explain,
Open gtalk -> press menu buttion ->Go to display options.
there are three options only, i need a option to display available friends from the list of all friends.

Anyone have a link to a themeable SMS app for CM? I was using one that I would sideload back with 4.2.2 but it isn't compatible with 4.3. Tired of having blue text when everything else is red. Thanks!

I will attach the MMS apk I always use.. It is 4.2.1, but it works great on 4.3.. I use CarbonRom now, but have used several in the past and this apk worked with all of them..
I have installed it two ways.
1) Downloaded the rom to my computer and replaced the 4.3 MMS.apk using WinRAR (located in system/app) with the 4.2 MMS.apk that I have, then flashed the rom.
2) Deleted the 4.3 MMS,apk from the /system/app folder on my phone (I use RomToolbox). Then I added the 4.2 MMS.apk to the /system/app folder, fixed the permissions of the 4.2 MMS.apk to rw-r--r-- (using RomToolbox as well), then installed it. Reboot phone and voila, it works perfect.

OMG great! It works on my Xperia SP but I have a question: Does it matter if the phone or the app was for a CDMA phone? My phone uses SIM card, so I don't know where you found the app I mean what tipe of phone and if this could cause trouble in the future. After 30 minutes of use everything is OK, MMS and SMS are sent and received.

My phone is AT&T (GSM), which uses a sim card as well. It's worked for me for me every since 4.3 came out on every rom I have tried, but I'm not sure about other phones.

I'm running aeon 2.3 and I can't receive mms via the stock messaging app. I think it has to do with the Korean apk. A) DOES ANYONE HAVE A STOCK AT&T MESSAGING APK? B) do you think replacing the messaging. Apk in the sys app would fix the issue? I'm guessing here because I receive mms via Google hangouts perfectly. Thanks guys

EDIT: woops, just noticed you specified MMS.... my response would only apply if both sms and mms were not working, sorry..
anyway, i doubt replacing the APK will make a difference if sms is indeed working.. sounds more like a connectivity related issue possibly like you said due to korean base...

The stock messaging app will not solve your problem. The problem lies elsewhere and it extends to other bases as well. Did you flash over existing rom ? Or did you do the normal wipes? And please post in the AEON thread so we can help you better. I almost didn't see your post.

Thanks man. I'm no dev but I was bored and inpatient. I posted in the thread but with no response I looked elsewhere to solve my issues. Thanks for all of your great work an efforts. I love your Rom but I can't get mms from iPhone's specifically. I receive them via hangouts. I'm not changing any APN settings and I flashing after a factory reset wipe via twrp.

I just installed the S4 Super ROM (TW)(Acheron), and I am loving it. The only thing I miss from the stock TW is the ability to add numbers to an Auto-reject list. That feature was apparently stripped from the ROM. Can someone identify which .apk does Auto Call-reject so I can find and reload it? I'd post to the dev's thread but due to less than 10 posts am blocked from doing so.

That is what I would like to be able to do. However, the "call rejection" option is missing. "setup call rejection messages" is at the top of the list. Is it just me? I assumed that all SuperS4 users are missing this option.
If I were to copy and replace sec.contacts.apk and or sec.phone.apk from another S4 TW rom, perhaps a stock version, would I potentially blow things up, or is that pretty safe?

I'm using SuperS4 version 1.4. I went into phone and the options where there.

I am on the deodexed but have used both versions. I have flashed both versions from my internal so can't answer that one about flashing from external. I suggest using what the op says 6.0.4.4 and kt twrp are recommended and are linked in the op.

Ok, so I wiped it all out and reinstalled with KT TWRP. Still no go. Can someone running 1.4 odexed check their call settings for the "call rejection" option? Thanks!
