Known Bugs
tell me
Some HINTS for PA crespo USERS
First don't think the dynamic status bar and dynamic nav bar are not working, to see how they are working is not just tick on the setting...you must edit your build prop
Code:
ro.config.low_ram=true
to activate the DSB/DNV just change the value to false
Code:
ro.config.low_ram=false
after you change the value you must reboot the device...then you'll se some miracle
Second some people says "Oh my god our crespo don't have some nav bar...so i can't see how the dynamic nav bar features are working"
then the hero says "don't worry i know how to call the navbar "
the tutorial is simple you must add some new line in the build prop
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
after add that line to build prop you must reboot to see the changes.
Third where is the pie? pie would be activated when you activate immersive mode on quick settings...the pie default will be triggered on bottom of screen.
4th some people says "i want to use old recent panels! or i don't want to use PIE on immersive mode or i don't want to active quick pulldown!" come on guys, you can reset PA preference setting at Setting>backup&reset>Reset preferences...just tick what you want to reset.
5th Love PA like you love your mother's/girlfriend/family :highfive:
P.S sorry if i have bad english then you can't understand what i'm saying... :crying:

not a bad rom considering speed on our old crespo, has some weird ui bugs and that android L recents are just clunky and confusing, still better than most of the cm11 ports and modifications

Thanks to Imilka for the initial bringup.
Thank you GOD !
thanks! i still thinking if it is worth instaling it, i hate the touchwiz, i got my phone today, this is the first time using the stock rom for more than 5 minutes and i hate it, can anyone post how it works and what isnt working pls?
Very nice! Congrats for the work!
May I know if it'll eventually come to the LTE Note 2 N7105?
Can you do anything about the color saturation? I'm using Voodoo to help but it isn't enough. On the stock rom there are several settings in display to mitigate this problem (dynamic, standard, movie and one other.) Supercurio?
On a side note (pardon the pun) does the CM10 camera have an auto focus? I noticed that pictures look 100x better on the stock rom vs. Any of the aosp based ones.

Here is the log cat for the GPS issue that I'm facing. Thanks dev.
Another minor bug (i've replicate it several times) is that the "remember preference" does not work in the cm file manager. Awesome file manager though.

Just a quick question: does the hwcomposer work now for the exynos 4412?
It seems this is the part for project butter to keep the fps @60.
EDIT: found my answer in the CM buglist (UI - bug-choppy animations)

+1 Doubt we'll see it in the near future though. Been looking for a Dev interested in porting it over to us and there's a little interest but not much sadly. Would be awesome to add the changes necessary for this to work on both devicesor even a "flash pack " type thing.

[ROM][PORT]HellyBean Beta1.1+ | Google Apps INCLUDED!

This is an Android Jellybean 4.1.2 ROM, based on the sources of CyanogenMod10!
Note: I DID NOT make this ROM. I only ported it from the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100. Thank Helly Bean, CyanogenMod and the rest of the All-Star Devs for making this possible.
Official thread
Project Website!
HellyBean is CM10 based, but comes with a lot of other specs and options that CM base does not have!
- Facebook sync integrated
- Option to enable high end gfx effects, on lower end devices
- Possibility to disable high end gfx effects, on higher end devices
- Possibility to activate and customize navigation bar (color of background, glow effect, transparency)
- Possibility to customize status bar (color of background, transparency)
- Transparent lock screen (taken from ParanoidAndroid, coded by Jesus David)
- Edge swipe navigation (ported from SGT7)
- Ability to enable tablet UI (ported from AOKP)
- Kill-all button in recent apps tray (ported from AOKP)
- Task manger button in the recent apps tray (this needs OS Monitor to be installed, otherwise nothing happens...still a WIP)
- Customizable long-press-back-kill timeout (from 500ms to 3000ms)
-Option to use Sense 4's recent apps tray
- Pdroid patched, if app installed, re-charable at: settings --> system --> security
- Added the possibility to search for contacts by nickname or company name (with dialpad T9, has to be activated in the dialpad settings), cherry-picked from AOKP
- And much more!

The bugs will be the same as our CM10 bugs.
Concerning the mic: it should work.
I tried Shazam and it worked. Haven't tried Skype and Google Now, but I trust on the fact that it should work.
I'll take a look at CM10 thread and make a list of known bugs!

Yes, as this ROM is CM10 based. There is an CM10.1 based, which I will port too soon. Or I' ll wait till CM10.1 bugs are fixed, I wouldn't know.
Till then I'll be working on this.

OP updated with CM10 bug list
Up for next build:
=> New Android camera with photosphere working!
=> A little bit of "Hell Theming" --> Will be available as an add-on
=> CM10.1 keyboard as I like it more than CM10 keyboard...

Thanks for the support! I will try my best.
I'm also busy on another ROM to give our users a wide choice of ROMs.
But nevertheless we shouldn't forget the great Pure Vanilla AOSP stock ROM. Ur ROM was the first I used and made me realise that I wanted to contribute something to the users, I gotta thank you for that!!

Oppo find 5 will be officially supported by AOKP yes ...
Afaik maxwen does his own thing and he' s pretty good at it . I doubt anyone will replace him ..
Now lets please get back to the topic .
Is there a reason why TWRP is needed? Just curious Really happy to see official AOKP support. I know sixstringsg was interested in bringing AOKP to the Find 5, so this is super cool! Thanks again.

AFAIK stock recovery won't flash custom ROMs at all. But that's no secret that a custom recovery is needed. Just wondering why step 2 says to make sure your using TWRP. Will it not work with CWM?

no crashes here ...
rebuilding rom with a few cherry pick , changed my mind again . should upload before we reach Sept 6th (EST)
Running 24 hrs now, and this ROM is smooth. Having a complication with a BT headset, but it may not be ROM related.

EDIT: It would be really nice if you could fix the camera
Hi So Here's my review of the rom
Bugs
Camera
Lockscreen never shows up
In the Power menu there is no airplane mode option and others are not visible too
In the notifications bar the switcher does not shows. So we have to slide to see the tiles
We cannot use the home button at all even with the nav bar
Well Anyways good work. If I have spare time I could surely fix the camera and lockscreen bugs
Thanks
Also If anybody know are there slimbean 4.3 sources for armv6
PS @S♥NE I wanna know which rom you used as base

Hey @S♥NE
I tried to port RootBox rom(based on android 4.2.2) for our ace from Zte crescent from this link
The ROM got flashed but it is stuck at bootanimation.and not booting
Can you help me? please
also what can be causing the bootloop?
I can upload the ROM if you want.
reply.
tried this rom today and have to its good as first attempt
except few bugs that are listed everything is fine
and nova launcher idea is good cos cm9 roms with this one are also light and fast
KEEP IT UP
:good::good::good::good:
U can take a logcat for there are many guides on taking a logcat, its very useful
For bootloop probably there are some lib files u did not take from base rom? U can always refer to various guides at xda and combine them like i did, anyway good luck in your rom porting

I don't have laptop access as it is damaged so can't take logcat
and the rom doesn't boot so no app to take logcat as well.
BTW which libs files are you referring to?
The rom stays at bootanimation only
and lib files are to be taken from base ROM or port ROM?

Yeah It would be my pleasure. But honestly I don't know much either.
Also I decided to try and compile the slimbean from sources.
