Hello Friends,
As we know Android 4.3 brought for us a dynamic capability of customizing our phones with Vivid themes
I shall be providing 15+ themes on this thread..
For now I have crafted some themes, which in fact looks pretty descent to me!

These are the concept themes, I tried to keep it close to stock 4.4, and feedback is welcome
NOTE: For now it seems to work only for devices with root
If you are non Rooted then only Wallpapers for Home and Lockscreen will change

Black settings are ROM specific, not the themed component, Sorry!
I own a Z1, I am not sure my themed Black settings would work for you

Any Suggestions are welcome :fingers-crossed:

I put the .apk to system/app and set the right permission.reboot
But I can't see the theme in theme chooser.
And I can't install like normal apps in v2.
Before that I install like normal apps.
I can see it in theme chooser but no change for navigation bar only.

Crimson 2 downloads but the phone says " Cant open file " I tried earth and that works fine

rooted but ur themes still wouldn't change the accent color
but the wallpaper and lockscreen wallpaper are great THX:victory:

Reboot the phone, it's not an issue about his themes, does not work with original Sony themes as well here. I think it's an issue with the Xposed Framework, but not sure.

I already said. At this time, only Analog clock widget work. Check OP. If none of the widget worked, Check OP again I have updated. You should have latest Z3 Home, Only then it will work.

I just want to share some small modifications that I made for me and for some friend
Works only with lollipop by sony and you NEED a working RECOVERY.
All modifications are tested only with my z3 but they'll work also for the z2 as everything is the same.
Navbar size
Just the height of your navigation bar, here some examples:

alternative AOSP battery with percentage ( you can enable it by disabling "battery percentage" in settings-personaliziation-system icons )

NOTE: In order to avoid misalignments of the statusbar network icons it's recommended to delete SystemUI-Overlay-285.apk in /system/vendor/overlay/ folder!
NOTE2: Close all button in recents is already included in Sony's stock apk.

Here you have a framework-res that introduces navbar's dynamic color change for lollipop apps that support it.

Google messeger compatible with themes
This is Google Messenger modified to change its colors based on your current theme, you can install it as a normal apk.
WARNING: works only if you enabled "super user mode" ( don't know why ), I suggest to use the wonderful xperia xposed module from serajr to activate it.

General installation method:
To install these modded app you must put the zip in your internal or external memory and flash it through recovery.
Note: SystemUI, Settings and Phonebook apks are deodexed, by flashing my zip the relative odex file will be deleted.

I already made some modification to my SystemUI like niaboc79 and others did, but I don't know how many and which variants to do
This is my configuration ( the one in the screenshot ):
no search bar in recents
close all button in recents ( follows color accent of the theme )
dynamic navbar ( follows the main theme color )
4 button navbar ( added power )
centered clock
dropped statusbar follows main theme colors ( the one from Ambor )
PS: I just have to allign all the icons in the navbar :silly:

Don't think so, but I really have no idea because I don't know if the Z1 has similar system structure and resources.
You can try but be careful and make a backup, a forced clean install from flashtool is always behind the corner ( particularly in case of the framework-res.apk )

Hi Can you build nav bar with 3 icon (no power)
and I am having problem with message and whats app force close or anything that receive notification or send message after using your framework-res.apk

You want a modded SystemUI but without power button?
For that there's no problem but your FC are strange since there was another user that tested my framework-res on the z2 and had no issues.
Are you on the stock sony rom? Have you already made other modifications?

[MOD][LP][Z1,Z2,?Z3] Settings (dark,autostart,cpu,accent) [UPDATE 01/5/2015]

Hii I mod Settings.apk with dark background, included an autostart and CPU settings. And working theme accent.
Tested:
- z1
- z1c (report light themes does not work, i'll try mod specific for z1c)
- z2
- Z3 if fail, try install zip from @ogunja

- I'll try fix font and icon still black in dark setting.
- for z3 or z1 maybe need superuser mod to bypass apps
- If you have method/how to fix, can message me.

*if you want vivid option, i add in attachment, but I think not much difference with x-reality
*(option no need reboot) remove recent opened setting from recent menu, then try open setting from app launcher.

Dark settings confirmed working on my. 690 z3

Can confirm working in Z3 .690. (dark setting + autostart + CPU settings and monitor)

Light settings did not working on Z1C.
Settings app did not appear in launcher.

No, I mean Settings in light themes does not work on my Z1C at all

Tried to install dark on my Z3 to no avail.
Stock Lollipop UK. 726.
Had to restore a backup, as even putting the original Settings.apk and arm folder resulted in no settings installed.

My dark settings disappeared after some hours... I flashed a new font and upon reboot the settings were gone. I too restored a backup and am not going to touch this mod again.

Hi Alvian_P, just intalled your mod on my z2 .726 and everything is working fine, thanks to everyone involved :good:

This Settings APK must not be used on anything but Z3 (and maybe Z2, since they have the same firmware 23.1.X). There are global resource references (0x10_____) which are different between the devices and depend on the framework-res.apk. Example: 0x10405b3 vs 0x10405af in MediaFormat.smali.
Be careful! Never cross-flash Settings.apk without proper porting!

Built a flash zip and working very well. But some things were blank and some very black
Impossible to see so mesmocom brightness by 100%
