In "Developer Options" go and remove "Update CM Recovery" but I think you still have to flash supersu zip in TWRP after the flash to gain root again.

Can anyone repost link it says
Sorry, you can't view or download this file at this time.

Haven't tested it myself yet. Maybe some one have the same problem in the other thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/xnph38r-ota-update-t2897933
Edit: Just tried the file in my previous link, got error also. Then I used this: http://www.mediafire.com/download/dhiibdwsvk14kgu/cm-bacon-XNPH38R.zip from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...ota-update-t2897933/post55877574#post55877574 that worked for me.

Hello to install OK but not then go on home. Problem lock screen? What do you think. Thank you

A thread already exist, http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/xnph38r-ota-update-t2897933
And this thread isn't necessarily "development," it is informative.

Root will interfere with downloading OTA, you'll have to wait for it on PC Companion.
Do you know what build number is downloading?
If I'm rooted and someone uploads the .zip can I just install the OTA and then a SuperSU zip or do I have to wait until someone makes an OTA with SU binaries all ready?
23.1.C.0.385
I apologize, I don't know how to get the .zip file from OTA

I just downloaded this and was looking for trusted devices feature which should be new with lollipop however I was not able to find it. Here's the description of the feature. http://www.talkandroid.com/guides/a...to-automatically-unlock-your-phone-or-tablet/
Can anyone else verify if it is there or not?
EDIT: Found it. After a reboot it showed up under Security>Trusted Agents.

SOLUTION: Must install drivers for the phone again and repeat the procedure to flash the recovery.
Need more info than that
Oh yes, sorry!
So:
My phone is Galaxy s5 (g900f)) with Android 5.0 TouchWiz BOJ1 BTU. By the early morning, i was trying to install the MM 6.0.1 Touchwiz, and between all tentatives, i tried to flash the file boot.img(included in the "Flashable 6.0.1" by geiti94) from TWRP recovery. After that, i reinstalled the official android 5.0 touchwiz to retry the guide of geiti94. And now i'm with the phone that it can't install the TWRP. (Sorry for my bad English)
Try downloading / flashing a newer version of TWRP (3.0.0.0)

Will the November OTA update cause any problems for my rooted S7?

I rooted my S7 using the Odin method found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...ot-guide-verizon-s7-s7-edge-sm-g930v-t3411015
Tonight I got a popup on my phone for a system update. I rescheduled it for later. Does anybody know if this update will cause problems with my rooted device? Will I have to re-root?
Should I block the update, and if so, how?
Thank you!
Normally I don't like "bumping" threads but this is important to me. Can anyone answer my question?
You wont be able to install it if you are rooted. It will fail the install.

I *literally* just reposted this question elsewhere because nobody was replying here.
Thanks for the response, and I wondered if it would just fail anyway. I suppose my next question is, how I stop it from bugging me?
EDIT: Actually, I'm assuming I can prevent it from nagging me by blocking "System Updates" like in this screenshot:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So I guess the *important* question is... do I really *need* these updates?

Yep, thats how you would stop the pop ups.
You most likely wont need the update as its probably just a security update

If root(SuperSu) is installed in system(most likely it is) it won't be gone when you do factory reset. And as long as you have TWRP recovery, you need only few clicks to get root.
I propably can't help you. But about my earlier post, make sure the changes you made to the "update-script" file are saved in zip. I once had same propblem and realized that changes weren't saved even though winrar said so.
