Hi mate,
Did you have any S5 mods or any mod with a different SystemUI installed before the CSC change? when you do a CSC the OS makes a factory reset ( backup, nandroid , efs , titanium) so it maybe installed a different systemui.
Back up first
do a factory reset
change the csc, nice app for that
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo&hl=en
restore your settings
install your mods
it should work

Hi thanks you for your response !
I have install the omega's app only (in omega installer), i try to change csc just after flash (and install phone info).
I think not have an other mod.
I try a data wipe and phone info csc changer but after reboot i have this message: "Process com.android.systemui has stopped".
Sorry for my english : (
Thanks you

Hi ,
If you do a factory reset and do nothing else ( no csc change , no additional mods other that the ones present in the rom , no restore backups) , what happen? you get the systemui error?

Hi, if i flash Omega's ROM and factory reset it's ok with:
- Original CSC code: BTU
- Firmware CSC: BTU
- Active CSC: BTU
- CSC Country: UK et IRE
- CSC Country ISO: GB"
But, if i flash Omega's ROM and factory reset (not install any app or mod) and change the CSC with Phone info i have this message "Process com.android.systemui has stopped".
Staying BTU, UK & IRE would be a problem on a french network please ? ( for sensing the 4G ) .
Thanks you very much

Hi ,
Check this thread , specially post 3 , regarding CSC , they have a selection of CSC packages for Odin and detail info in how to use Samsung Galaxy S2/S3 CSC Changer ......they may be able to give you further help there
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250824
Regarding your question , i will not be a problem as that part is modem related and in worst case scenario you can change to a different modem ( doubt you will need) CSC is important only for the software upgrades ( Samsung)

CSC problem why ??

Hello im trying to find out what is going wrong when i try to change CSC with *#272*IMEI#
I am on LeoMar75 Rom Revolution v2.3..
And I have flashed the Multi CSC XXKF1 in ODIN.
when i try to change CSC and choose NEE (nordic) it reboot as it should, but there is still NO DANISH Keyboard or Swype...
when i try to check the *#272*IMEI# it says DBT instead of NEE.
Is this Multi CSC not compitable with 2.3.4 ??
Is the language you require actually in that CSC .
CSC are multi compatible as just a few text and xml files .

[Q] CSC from other pack

Hi
There is this stock package for s5360 - S5360_XXLK1_OXFLK1_XXLH2. There is Polish language but there is no XEO. Can I use CSC from another ROM pack for example from this S5360_XXLH2_OXXLH2_XXLH2 ??
Why not try:
S5360_XXKL3_OXXKL1_XXKL3
European multilanguage build.
based on: S5360XXKL3_S5360OXXKL1_RST_S5360XXKL3_HOME.tar.md5
ro.build.date=Wed Dec 14 17:16:14 KST 2011
Supported languages:
XX = de,en,es,fr,hu,it,nl,pt(cs,da,el,fi,no,pl,sl,sv,tr )
Included CSCs: (Default is XEU)
ATO AUT COS CPW CYO CYV EIR EUR FOP ITV MOO PAN PHE SUW TPH XEF XEH XEO XEU XEZ XSK
After the flash, set your country/provider in dialer *#272*[yourIMEI]# (-> It will wipe your data, and rebrand the phone to specific country/carrier)
This build does not contais any provider specific bloatware
I think pl is polish language and XEO is there also in this stock firmware.
Also Doky73 is converting and releasing new firmware updates at present, he just did Polish T-Mobile stock ROM today so maybe you can check Sammobile for new firmware for yourself and ask nicely if he will convert it?
I would like to use newest ROM. The newest is S5360_XXLK1_OXFLK1_XXLH2.
Is this CSC setting really important ?

I thought it was but apparently it is not so important at all. (See the Q&A Ask any questions thread). Just flash the latest firmware that you want which supports your language and you should be fine apart from having to set up your data network settings manually (APN settings). I have to do this anyway as my carrier is not major so I keep a list of the settings for when I change ROM, if you don't have those written down or cannot find them online get them from your phone before you do anything else.
Also, have you made a nandroid backup using CWM recovery yet? Always do this before making major changes, it could save you a lot of trouble if things go wrong! (I didn't and it caused me a lot of trouble lol). Also make a note of your IMEI number by pressing *#06# in dialer.
If when you have flashed the firmware you cannot connect to your carrier, then press *#272#(your IMEI number)# and it should fix it. If it doesn't (I am told this is very unlikely) then just flash the CSC file as you were asking about doing in your first post using Odin and it should all be good again.
I have been told that the CSC doesn't matter but have not had chance to test it myself yet as I only found out tonight!
Good luck :good:

What does "could not locate csc data package?"

I have a Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900), which is absolutely genuine, but purchased from China, so it is therefore “Region Locked”. I have tried to get this ‘unlocked’ by various companies advertising on Ebay etc, but they are unable to do so. I Downloaded the “Region Lock Away” successfully, and then when I press “Region Unlock”, I am given the message: “Could not locate CSC data! You could try flashing a CSC package to correct this”. So my question obviously is, how do I do this, especially as I am somewhat nervous at anything more involved, (i.e. ‘Rooting’ etc). Any and all help will be appreciated.
The CSC package is inside file cache.img from one Rom.
Look the attach img from N900 (files from Rom to flash by Odin), there are two files cache.img + hidden.img.
Making a Mod csc.tar.md5 whit this two files from one Rom having Your CSC, we can flash it by Odin in csc and we have it installed.
This example attached have only the csc SER from Russia.
Thank you Valente for your reply, it is appreciated, but please could I ask how in simple steps I actually do this.......you are dealing with a 66 year old here!!
My kindest regards,
Bernard
Well, in Portugal the N900 is not sale only N9005 then I only give You some idea. But this isn't so simple.
First You must give me what is Your Rom working. On phone keyboard type *#1234# (may be return) and You have the AP, CP and CSC
Send me this. Then what Your CSC and Carrier/Operator to see from what Rom we must extract the cache.img.
Your N900 must have the 4.3 then the Knox also, it's true? If yes it have the Knox botloader and on Odin sometimes isn't possible to flash for example a csc_version OXX or OXA from UK over one for Chine like ZC, Knox bootloader not permit because region not compatible.
Send me that data to see what is possible. Alright?
PS: You have access root already?

Thank you Valente....you are very kind, and I have to say, you English is very good. I will try to answer as best as I can.
The 3 references are:
AP: N9000ZCUBMI5
CP: N9000ZCUBMI3
CSC: N9000CHNBMI5
My SIM is with Orange (United Kingdom).
I am not sure what else you may need, but I have not "Rooted" the phone other than to download the "Region Lock Away" app.
Thank you again,
Bernard

This is not good. Your Model is a SM-N9000 and not a SM-N900. Is a Chinese Model unknown on Sammobile.
See on Settings / General / About Device... You must have Model number SM-N9000. True?
In this case You not have anything on Sammobile to this device.
See here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ write N9000 on white box on top right and You see N9000Q nothing for N9000
Anyway if You write there N900 You see many Rom's for many Countries but not for UK. There aren't UK CSC's for N900.
The Rom is a ZC, You can't flash anything from European XX Rom´s over it. And it have a single csc=CHN not have a Multi CSC (a CSC package). I unknown solve Your problem.
In this case I can't help You, is very difficult. Sorry.

Samsung built in CSC changer for OXM Multi CSC Firmware (Need to be on One UI 2.5)

Good news for the people who wants to change CSC according to their home country.
Now, you can easily change your CSC no matter from which region you had bought your phone.
***No Root Needed***
Follow this steps to change CSC:
1. First insert the Sim of your desired CSC country.
2. Then after restarting just factory reset your phone.
3. Now the phone will boot up with welcome Screen.
4. After few seconds it will ask you whether you want to change the phone settings and region according to your Sim Card providers country.
5. Boom!!! now, phone will reset again and welcome screen will appear again. Now, you will have the same CSC and configuration according to your own country.
N.B: It works only for OXM Multi CSC based Firmware after One UI 2.5 update. So, every device with OXM MULTI CSC & One UI 2.5 update will be eligible.
Will it also change the SW-service provider, like from Vodafone to a unlocked sw-version?

If you are trying to change the CSC first ensure your firmware is based on OXM Multi CSC and your desired CSC is part of the OXM CSC family. Otherwise it won't work. And for checking correct CSC after following this procedure use *Phoone Info Sam** app from playstore

I have the OXM multi CSC. I will try that later.
Im trying to get back to ZTO since I changed my phone's to DBT.
For people who can't switch between csc in the same mult csc pack. OXM multi csc pack contains all the european generic and network branded firmware (csc) so if You are at SFR (part of OXM multi pack), and flash it with BTU (part of OXM multi pack) the SFR will stay. What you need to do is to flash it with different multi csc pack (just see what packs are available for your model), then flash it back with OXM multi pack, and it should switch to some generic csc, then if you instert your sim card it should ask you if you want to customize your phone to the inserted sim card and it will change your csc to the one you want.

Hi sivuha0101,
So if i undestand your solution, as i am from FRANCE ( XEF )
1- flash with a NZC firmware like it doesn'nt contain neither XEF or TIM ( mine actually )
like : SM-G986B_1_20210501192706_0r7rhuu316_fac.zip.enc4
( do i need to flash all ? ie AP,CSC,CP and BL ? )
reboot, fast install etc....
then
2 - flash again with my XEF rom :
SM-G986B_1_20210517170737_0n0cb625x6_fac.zip.enc4
and insert my sim card to detect my correct CSC code .
I am right ? thanks for this information btw !
EDIT :
tried, the flash failed with the NZC firmware ( the phone is good ) but now i don't know what rom to flash
Answering my self :
1/ buy Samkey credits on ebay user ( 5$ )
2/ Use one credit in Samkey software to change the CSC ( less than 2 min )
3/ Enjoy your phone !
