22gb in lost+found, how to fix? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Put this in the wrong forum the first time. I've got a 32gb s4 running cm11. I've got less than 3gb free with very little personal files. I used disk usage and see I've got 22gb in lost+found (see attached picture) How do I fix this?

Where is my storage?

Hi all,
I noticed today that I have less free space than I believe I should.
I see 4 GB left, but the top graph/bar displays much more.
I turned off and on, and now I see 10 GB free.
Any idea what is the issue?
Attached screenshot.
Thanks!

Check out app called DiskUsage. You can see everything and also delete from it. Sorted me out!

Files on sdcard take up double the space

Files appear to take up twice the amount of space they ought to be. I have 13 GB free space, it shows less than half used, yet only 4.4 GB left?

You got any backups?

The storage utility on the N7 only reads data correctly from the default directories. I'll bet you created some new directory/directories on the root of your storage and have files in there, right?

Running out of storage space, but only have 8 gigs of data....

For some reason, it says I'm low on storage space, and that some system functions won't work, but on my storage screen, half of it is empty. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Do you have lots of nandroid backups? Those will fill up the memory fast.

[Q] low storage space?

This just doesn't add up I just deleted nearly 8 gigs of game data and backups.
Have you rebooted?

LG G2 storage

My LG G2 is two weeks old. Its rooted with Clean ROM. I have maybe 5.5 GB of music, but my storage reads 15.73gb used. Does anyone have an explanation and/or same problem? Seems a bit excessive?

That's sounds high after reading. Check game data.

Found a break down: System 8.04gb
CleanRom 1.58gb
TWRP 5.93gb
10gb remaining on a 32gb SD?

Most likely a backup, if you backed up the stock Rom before flashing clean rom

I recommend you to use DiskUsage to find where all the space is going:

Cheers!
