[Q] Locked Bootloader

Hi! I bought a new galaxy s4 gt-i9505 international version. Can someone tell me if it has locked bootloader or not?

Hi,
My rooted i9505 S4 has the same scripts as yours.
So, I would say that you are OK to root it,if you want.

So if I flash a custom rom that will be ok right? I do not need to unlock the bootlaoder first or something like HTC ONE X? and if I want to go back to stock I will follow the procedure like GS3? triangle away etc?

No unlocking necessary.
Samsung is much easier.
And yes to the return to stock and triangle away.

same as you have upgraded to 4.3.. just download 4.2.2 firmware and use Odin to falsh.

If your downloading because if knox you will still have it and it well be tripped 0x1

All browser in 4.3 are lagging...thats why im going back to 4.2.2

If you don't use the 4G make sure you have it unpicked. After upgrade some basic setting change as I have noticed

CF Auto Root and Odin. There's loads of threads on this. Google is your friend also in this regard.

Here's the GT-I9505 and I9500 Root , Also mostly old root like Cofface's CWM Recovery root won't work on 4.3 , And some apps like GameCIH Don't support the Android 4.3

Yep, called CF auto-root flash through Odin

I used kingo to root. I know that i may not talk about it here. Didnt trip my knox counter.... it will when i flash custom recovery i think.

You may not talk about that here because it possible contains malware. I would not recommend to use that method.

[Q] please help me root my I9515

i have a s4 i9515 phone
with 4.4.2 android
i tried to root it as a normal s4
but it still not rooted
i use ubuntu by the way

Use towelroot. It's as easy as 1..2..3 =)

now i rooted my i9515
then installed custom rom for i9505
and the touch wont work
and im stuck in there
how to recover my old system

hi, I know it's an old post... but I wanna ask if when you root with towelroot, you can uninstall all the samsung crapware? thanks a lot!
and it is possible then to un-root back the phone?
