[Q] Accidentally deleted networklocation.apk - A3000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi devs,
Please help accidentally uninatalled network location.apk. Now its not able to determine location through mobile network. Can someone help, how to restore it back. Please post the apk file. I hope I have to place the apk file in system/apps and reboot.
Any suggestion are welcome. Please help.

Unfortunately, I have the F verion of the tablet, so I can't help. But does it really matter if you got rid of it? What's the worst that could go wrong?
Devices:
-LG Optimus L3 II
-Lenovo IdeaTab A3000-F
-Hyundai Dual SP 4S
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when he gets mad, he is a mile away and barefoot.

Ohh
Yes, that does matter when you get rid of it. The phone will not be able to find the current location through towers when gps is off.

Sorry. Still can't help. But does your tablet need to find the location?

Here you go my friend.

Hi @MirXas
Thanks a lot.
I just wanted to confirm whether it is compatible with lenovo idea tab A3000-H JB 4.2.2?
Also I should just copy this apk in system/app folder and restart right.
Thanks a lot for the help.

This APK is from the latest A3000-H's 4.2.2 firmware, it must be compatible, no question about it.
Yes, copy to /system/app, set permissions (RW-R--R--) and restart. Preferably, use ROOT EXPLORER to do that.

Yep, done it thanks a lot again.

Request, White samsung keyboard for N9005

Hi,
Could anyone please provide me with the apk and odex files for the WHITE Samsung keyboard? I have an N9005, 4.4.2, stock odexed NB7. I don't want a zip file for flashing with CWM, just the two above-mentioned files which I can simply push to system/app. Would be very grateful!

Thank you very much, it's a very very nice keyboard even though it's not from Samsung which I actually wanted. Unfortunately, with this ported LG Keyboard I always get the message "LG Keyboard has stopped" when I tap on the microphone sign... I can still use this function but this constant warning is really annoying... Do you know how to get rid of it? Thank you once again.

Urgent secsettings.odex file.

I am a complete noob. I was trying to follow an online guide to make my note 3 look like a S5 and this required me to copy a new secsettings.apk file and delete the original secsettings.odex file. This didn't work out so I wanted to revert to the original file which I made a copy of. However I no longer have the odex file and I can't enter my phone's settings at all. I just need the odex file mentioned to go back. If someone can post it I would be very much obliged. I'm running ms-n900w8 4.4.2.
Thank you very much!

BUMPeh!
This is becoming pretty common now. I've done the same thing. Can someone direct us to a link or post their SecSettings.odex from their phone for us to use? Please. I really don't want to undo all that I've done to improve the performance after root.

[Q] Weatherdaemon.apk lost, upload it pls!

Wrongly, I deleted the weatherdeamon.apk with titanium backup, and now I can't see anymore the temperature through my flip cover. Could someone extract the .apk and upload it, pls? I actually have END3 firmiware, but I guess any Samsung Kitkat from Note 3 N9005 should work.

MyMagazine required files?

Hey guys. I have recently installed G00h's S5+Note4 rom and i really like it, but I am quite addicted to the good old MyMagazine from the original Note3 roms. Tried pushing it to root, in priv-app folder, setting the correct permissions, but unfortunately that was not enough, I get force close whenever I try to start it. Can anyone please help me? I imagine I needed maybe another file/apk that I did not take into consideration...
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Timer/countdown sound not working

My problem is the same as that guy's from Sony forums:
https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xper...t-ring-if-screen-is-off-or-locked/td-p/889751
When timer reaches 0 and phone is locked it will sound a tone and mute. I can't stand it so I ask you xda community. Has anyone found a solution to this yet? It's firmware 167 that is buggy.
Also, can someone supply me with clock apk from .314 firmware? I don't know where I can find it. It should propably work unlike the .167 one
bump, could anyone pull apk if they are on .314?
Here's the apk from .314

Thank you for your help sir! Unfortunately I tried changing apks and it didn't work Don't know how to tackle this problem.
Hi, are you rooted? If you are, the problem is the SemcClock.apk, in my case just used one from Z3 and with a root explorer move it to /system/app (Just in case I moved the original apk with the SemcClock.odex, if you leave it, you'll get force close) and with correct permission (rw-r-r-), rebooted and problem solved
Sorry for the bad english
Greetings
Hi, yeah I am rooted. Thank you for your reply. I will try it
Same problem here. But the timer-app accessible at taskmanager still does the job.
