Hi mate,
Some more information would be nice.
Which was the latest firmware and which version did you want to flash?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
Take a look at this, especially to the "Odin troubleshooting" part.

Hey. Thank you for the answere.
I tried to flash I9505XXUGNF6_I9505DREGNF2_I9505XXUGNF6_HOME.tar
The latest firmware was 4.2.2 (Austria 3)
I tried now another Odin version and i flashed it with PID file. The only result is that i get a recovery booting
in the top left corner but it still stucks... i cannot open recovery to wipe cache / factory reset.
The last thing i tried was to flash the original recovery. <- back to the 3 errors.
now i try another odin software with another usb port. odin passes with everything but i cannot open recovery. just stuck at Recovery Booting

Hi,
does Odin give a fail log? Or does it finish successfully?
Which Odin versions did you try?
And the firmware you want to flash now is a Austria 3 one as well? You can also take another version (but still with the same csc) in case that your current one is damaged or something like this.

Hi again.
I used Odin 3.04 and 1.85. Also i tried diffrent USB Ports.
I tried to flash CWM 6.0.4.7 Touch and Non Touch, also twrp.
It passes with all the recoverys as well with the rom from sammobile and the stock recovery rom from the other tread.
i tried with and without pit file. Odin passes everytime.
Afther restarting the phone i just get the blue (booting recovery) or the 3 error messages in the top left corner and it stucks for hours.
Iam not able to boot recovery and wipe the cache... and iam not able to boot into the system do something else.
the only thing working is the download mode.
iam out of ideas.

You can try to flash a three or four part firmware with Odin 3.09, it will wipe your device itselfs

Try flashing the recovery again with auto-reboot unchecked.
But it sounds more like a hardware failure to me.

Thank you all for your help.
And yes. It was a Hardware failure.

Galaxy S4 bricked?

Hey guys,
I got jamals google edition installed on my S4 and when I forgot to charge it and I started the device I got a bootloop. I dont know why, but I also couldĀ“t get into the recovery mode, so I flashed an originial Samsung firmwar via Odin on my S4 (4.4.2)
After that, it restarted but I got a "android.process.acore has stopped" message and I couldn't use the S4 because the message kept popping up and the S4 automatically restarted and when it restarted the message appeared again, so i had a very strange loop i couldnt interrupt. So i flashed another 4.4.2 firmware and also again the same firmware, but nothing helped, I still got the message and the S4 kept restarting.
So I flashed the Omega Pre-rooted 4.4.2 firmware via odin (and the exact same thing happened). But whats strange is, that before it started it said "updating 1 of 172 apps) so that must mean, that even though I flashed 3 firmwares via Odin, my apps somehow stayed on the S4? And also the wallpaper was the same wallpaper I had before, what was very strange.
Then I installed Philz CWM Recovery because I waned to perform a factory reset. But after I installed it and tried to get into recovery mode, I couldn't and only this was displayed :
Recovery Booting...
Recovery is not Seandroid Enforcing
Set Warranty Bit: recovery
So it seems like nothing works and I'm getting really desperate, does anyone of you has an idea how to fix this? Otherwise I guess my S4 is bricked
Regards and thanks for your help

I'm assuming you know about KNOX now that you've flashed an official firmware you will have KNOX and you've already tripped KNOX by installing recovery but you won't be able to use a lower version firmware just bare that in mind when flashing official stock again.

Can't install recovery on SM-T330NU

I tried installing almost all recoveries under T330 and T330NU but Odin keeps reporting as fail. I have tried Odin 3.09 and further without any hope. I even tried using another PC, installing drivers, and ,any versions of Odin but report fail. When I try to boot up the device it says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. Kies and Kies 3 don't recognize my device. Oh and Stock ROM from sammobile and the one provided here in the general forum also report FAIL right after aboot. Am I hard bricked?

Russ, no you're not bricked, you have a flash that failed in odin, and if i understand it correctly you now have an instruction alive in your cache that executes at reboot resulting in kicking you back to that particular message/state in odin. Succeeding in a recovery or boot.img flash should break it out of that "loop". what changes have you made to your device that odin flashes are now failing? Also , are you using the factory provided cable?

I am using factory cable and have use other USB cables that are verified working. What I did was flash TWRP from sub77 and then tried to flash stock rom because it was being buggy. That is when the problem started and I cant go past the message. Although I can now access Download mode but when I try to boot up normally or to recovery I receive that message.

Okay download mode is good, flash the last known working recovery that you were using. Remember to DESELECT the auto restart option in odin.
when the flash is done [res-ok] etc. , force reboot to recovery and attempt a restore of your associated backup. Meaning if your existing backup was made with an older known working version of TWRP you must use that version. If Philz, then Philz.
Odin's later newer version is required to flash the LP 5.1.1 update for the sm-t330nu. see @thisisapoorusernamechoice 's thread for instruction.

My Galaxy s7 broke down and had to go back to my old galaxy s4, but I have a big problem or small, want to install this room but I can not install any recovery.

And always appears this error
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
If anyone can give help to fix this I am very appreciated, I want to install this room, but it's complicated

Stock firmware firmware from Odin includes stock recovery.
Flash again with Odin by doing this: uncheck everything in Odin except f reset time, flash rom, when you see the word reset in the status window, remove USB cable from phone, remove battery for three seconds, replace battery, use buttons to boot directly to recovery, factory reset/wipe, reboot.
believe it or not I've done it in a post here on xda, I tried everything
different computers, even if the smartphone is original

Can't Handle It

Hello Guys, recently i was trying to install CMW recovery on my Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 via odin and it is not working so i researched and found that i can use "FLASHIFY" from playstore to flash the recovery. I flashed it successfully but when i rebooted the phone, it only boot to recovery. Nothing else just the recovery. I can't get out there. So i tried to flash firmware from sammobile and still it doesnt work. I really need your help.

Post the Odin log here.
For twrp, flash via Odin.
Before flashing, uncheck everything except f reset time. Flash and, when you see reset in the status window, remove USB cable from the phone, remove battery, replace battery, boot into twrp using buttons.

can't install twrp for xposed galaxy s4 sgh-i337m

I recently upgraded my phone software from 4.4.2 to 5.0.1 and i need to download xposed again and when i searched online it showed that i need to download twrp and i tried this method using adb
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-twrp/
but after entering the step 4 ,the command control just "showed a searching for device message" .
i had also tried via odin but recovery did'nt show up when i pressed volumeup+power+home . just a bunch of letters on the top right corner . Pls help me (i am a noob)
Forum for the 337m is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att

i tried your method and decided to see if it was working properly and i followed the instruction for rooted devices in https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-boot-to-recovery/
Not only it did'nt work now my phone is just displaying the samsung galaxy s4 logo with words on the top left corner that says
recovery booting. . . .
recovery is not seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit : recovery
i just also checked the twrp manager app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmz.soft.twrpmanager
it shows "custom recovery not installed or not detected"
How did you flash TWRP? You confirmed that the model # of the phone is sgh-i337m?
I could never get the fastboot instructions in the original post to work since all Samsung phones (non-Google Play versions) I have used did not support fastboot commands.

I downloaded the .tar file from the team win website for the samsung galaxy s4 canada and i opened odin .
switched off my phone , put it in download mode (volume down+power+ home ,pressed volume up again for confirmation)
connected to computer , odin shows added , clicked AP selected the .tar file and clicked start without making any changes in the options tab . Phone restarts
Flashing TWRP with Odin on a phone running a stock ROM will replace the stock recovery; however, if auto reboot is selected in Odin, rebooting the phone after flashing TWRP will cause the stock recovery or overwrite TWRP and this is one reason some people uncheck auto reboot.
I suggest starting over by flashing the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com with Odin 3.07.

I have just flashed my phone with stock rom from sammobile , after that i put into download mode again and did'nt select the autoreboot . when it was completed i tried going into recovery mode without switching on my phone so i removed the battery and placed it again and pressed volume up+power+home and i still got the same things that showed up before .
Did you try flashing different versions of TWRP? I suggest starting with 2.87. You can then use TWRP itself to flash newer zip versions.
