Hi friends..A friend of mine is going to hong kong. Can you tell me where i can get cheap or even second hand hermes there?I want to buy one.He could buy one for me there..Thanks for your help
Can someone help me?I am willing to pay up to 3250 hong kong dollars.
Cingular sells refurbished 8525's .. 199 bucks.
Is it in hong kong? But cingular is based only in u.s.Isn't it? The friend is going only to hong kong
around $3100-3300 HKD at mongkok to have a Softbank X01HT(HERM200)
wan chai would would be a good place to go too....sham shui po would also be a nice place.. shop 188 would be another place too..
So buy one from Cingular and just Unlock it..
Will the softbank x01 ht already be unlocked or do i have to unlock it? How much to unlock? And where to unlock?
unlocking is free with programs from here..
He'd need an AT&T/Cingular account to buy an 8525 direct.

you can buy softbank x01ht at "sincere podium" in mong kok. it's a place famous for selling mobile phones at cheap prices. it's within 5 minute's walk from mong kok mtr station.
the price for an unlocked unit is about HK$3,180. If you can unlock it yourself, the price can be cheaper (about HK$2,800).
details here: http://www.topwebdesignltd.com/shopping/plaza-1/kmksin.htm
hope this helps
Why is it so cheap? Is it because the products are fake?I hope i will not be getting any problem when the friend returns back..I think i'll take the unlocked unit. Any other suggestions? Are there any risk of developing the screen alignment problem?
Does anyone know where to buy unlocked Softbank x01ht in Tokyo? How much?
Currently, I’m in Tokyo for several days. I plan to give this Softbank for my girlfriend. Thanks you in advance.
Hi friends. The friend postponed his trip to next month..So, can anybody tel me where i can get the imate or htc version of the hermes cheaply in hong kong?(less or equal to 3250 hong kong dollars). The friend told me that i may end up loosing my money if the softbank breaks. Imate or htc may cover me through warranty.. Cheers!

Even as a Hong Kong people I hesitate to suggest ppl to get one in HK now.
Bad shop sells even lower than $3,200, but there's problem like IMEI not matching, ROM v1.14 issue (You could see a lot of those post around).
If you think it is okay, go to those shop within Computer Arcade - it charges around $3,300 - $3,400, but not like those shark shops.
I forgot to mention that i need an unlocked version. Is there a probability that it will relock itself when my friend returns back?
Any reply?

Does anyone here know when the Galaxy Tab will be available in Hong Kong?

Go to a tech market and ask around. If I was able to get one in Russia, one of hks many markets will have some.
Mine got shipped outa Hong Kong from AUS Mobicity last week!
Try golden arcade or at temple street. I know that Shanghai Zhoujia and Kingsong are selling them from the mainland...

Anyone from Hong kong

if any of you are from Hong Kong, I need info:
I have gathered about 100+ HTC phones, all broken. Im pretty experienced in repairing that stuff, and have all the service manuals, but I need parts.
My brother is currently in Hong Kong, and He could smuggle them to my country, cause our airport doesnt have security checks on exit (if russians and chinese let you bring a nuke, serbians are going to allow it)
I believe that someone is going to ask me this, so im going to answer it before even asked - I dont want to order it online, cause our customs are retarded (custom prices higher than actual item prices)
so I need 20+ parts for:
HTC Blackstone
HTC HD2
HTC Wildfire
now, the problem: I myself have browsed chinese and HK electronics markets, and it is one hell of a trouble. for example: In Shenzhen, everyone is talking about Hua Qiang Bei being the greatest electronics market, but the truth is that BEST deals and prices, and items themselves are located in the buildings NEXT to the actual Hua Qiang Bei. and it took me 15 days to figure it all out, that is one hell of a place. most of the good chinese Android Tablets could not be found in Hua Qiang Bei, but in the buildings near by.
Is there anyone that could know fort certain, where to buy HTC spare parts in HK ?
Maybe Taiwan, isn't that where they are all from? (The HTC phones )

Dude, my brother is in HK, and all the spare parts are manufactured in shenzhen/HK for ALL phones, and electronics. I just want to know if there is anyone that knows for a shop that sells spares
isn't smuggling illegal?

Is better to buy in Europe, Korea or China?

Hi all
I would buy this phone and my friend is now in China and then will go to Korea.
Where better to buy? N9005 Snapdragon, Exynos or N900S N900? Chinese.
I hope that some of you advise me.
thanks
Do you know by any chance the price in different countries?

If you have LTE in your area I would recommend getting the N9005 in Korea. China doesn't offer either the N9005 or N900, they have their own variants which all lack google apps

There's a good chance of network frequency incompatibilities if you're going to use an Asian model anywhere else in the world. Not to mention the Region lock, but both can in theory be solved by flashing and rooting.
As for EU prices:
Netherlands €672
Germany €649
Belgium €649
Switzerland 749CHF/€606
(no, I have no idea why the price in the Netherlands is so ridiculously high.
Actually yes I do: It's good old-fashioned Dutch Greed.)

best thing to do always, buy the set where you live, mainly for warrantr purposes, I have taken to dealer 3 different sets in 6 years, If you get yours from china whom are you going to claim warranty if needed? think carefully, luck

buy in HK or TW, there are both N9005 or N900 internatinoal version available, I paid for my N900 32gb black 468 € and I care less about warranty because the first thing when I went home is CF auto... and now very happy about the exynos version does not have region lock or knox trigger - best Galaxy till now

Ok, that's worse.
Good thing there's no import restrictions or costs in the EU, then. Even with shipping it's cheaper to order in another country.....
For you Americans complaining about having to pay $300, that's $1133.

Do NOT buy in China, as this will be the locked Chinese version with no play store, etc... Having said that, any phone market in China will also have the HK or international version as well (9005)... so if you're friend is smart enough to be able to identify the international version and make sure he/she doesn't buy the China version, this would be a good move. Prices for import phones in China are often quite keen, but then again this comes down to your friend's negotiating power...
I've always found Samsung stuff in Korea to be more expensive than elsewhere, and a Korean colleague of mine specifically bought his S4 in HK instead of in Korea due to this...
HK probably the best bet though. Note, reason is simply that HK has no sales tax, so is always going to be cheaper than somewhere that does... HOWEVER, some countries allow you to get tax back at the airport. For example, if you buy the phone in Germany, but you don't reside there, just show the tax receipt and the phone to the tax office at the airport and you'll get something around 15% of the price back. Note not all countries do this. China doesn't. Singapore does. HK doesn't need to. I think all of the EU does (as long as you're not an EU resident).
I personally bought my N3 in Australia a couple of weeks ago for AUD 880. I then got around 80 AUD back at the airport (have forgotten exact amount but around 80 AUD) so my actual price was 800 AUD which is 565 EUR / 773 USD. Seoul airport wanted over 1,000 USD for it. HK airport wanted around 900 USD, but note these are airport prices and this was days after launch.
never buy an android device in china, you will find that the google framework/service are all missing, btw i got my n900 in hk.

Best place for an American to pick up a nxt-L29?

Hello, I'm interested in picking up a 4gb/63gb NXT-L29. (I'd rather not have to mess around with the chinese variant.)
What's a decent shop today that sells this phone?
I'd say go with ebay. There are couple of US based sellers that sell the L29 version. I got my Mocha gold from there and it works like a charm.
