As the title said, I've tested it on my Z1 and my friend's Z2.
It may work for other devices, test it and report.
This is not the actual app itself, It's only an ENABLER to make it work anytime without TV. It will only work on the devices which has Stock FW and TVLauncher already in the system.
UPDATE : Only For people who didn't work for them, just flash the fix in the attachments through CWM.

I have. Just go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908269 , download the app. In there, where is a section for additional apps. I have installed the package from there and it is working. No other package worked for me. Also, please note that not all apps from there work.

Grant the launcher root access
If u r using apex launcher
U will find It in advanced menu

That means
There is a bug in that launcher
I have seen the same bug in Epsylon's latest build of cm9
In which placing the widget on homescreen wasn't possible
Let the dev of that Rom know about it

Yes that's the easiest way i know may be there is other but i don't know that...
First let me how did you install recover ? You installed XZ recovery dual ??
To remove :- make a back up of your whole data via pc companion and all apps apk file via any antivirus like avg. And save on SD CARD.
Now follow steps in pc companion - go to support option > repair software > install firmware again

Why do you think it's not possible to install it like "normal" apk file?
It should work that way...
If it won't install try to resign it.
And yeah....custom themes won't work on non-rooted device, that's for sure.
At least not on Z/ZL/Z1/Z2

Custom themes dont work on any 4.3 4.4 device that are made by
Us.no way we can disable the signature check.

First thing mate, I dont have any device with android 4.3/4.4, so didnt test it installing like a normal apk. Secondly it may require superuser mod to install it like a normal apk which also requires root.So i think it may not work..But it may work. I need someone to test it.

Actually we disabled signature check but in services.jar, that's why we are using superuser mod.
That's nothing special, only services.jar
without few lines of code.

Sure...I saw that you don't have device on JB/KK - that's why I'm telling you - install like any other app will work.
Haven't tried your theme but it'll work 100%.
It'll require patched services.jar for sure, that's not optional.
Users have to trick system with it so it'll not asking for a keys (for installation)
Anyway...

Yep sonys themes are signed differently via a different
Tool maybe that allow the theme to work even on a non-rooted phone

Actually, Sony demands that every theme pass their check and then they, if they approve it, sign it with their own keys.
That's the problem, we don't have that keys...
But at long as we have rootable firmware we could do whatever we want

Yep the .sf(signature files) and .rsa files.these 2 files make the difference..

I got aosp lollipop compiled and booting, hopefully expect a release with mobile data, wifi, bluetooth etc within a week.
For those interested it doesn't compile out of the box with Sony AOSP sources, but you can always fix errors. Always fix code, never comment out error lines or suppress warnings though. That's not the right way. It's not difficult to fix and compile lollipop

camera wont work until sony release the lollipop camera blobs or until some devs will fix this (after official lollipop release for z1)
I am no dev but if the camera is the same in the z1,z2,z3 can't the lollipop blobs be pulled from this repo and used from the z2 or z3?
As far as I can see there are camera blobs for z2 and z3 but the z1 is stuck on 4.4.2 by the looks of it.

Yes I installed a its great Rom
Why does Youtube App or video playback in general never work on this rom?
I've tried reflashing reinstalling and everytime no matter what trick i try youtube never works...i just get the same message with the continuous loop then spells the message saying unable to to video touch to retry :/
How do i fix Youtube? Also tried playing general videos i have stored on my microsd card and nothing plays so i guess video playback is completely broken? :S

Yes it's a bug.. It will get fixed in near future by CM.. Whereas video playback is working on crDroid rom..
