I can't understand anything on chinese site.
For european user: I discovered that the only sony store who has the Xperia Z3 Dual is the polish one.
Waiting for a couple of weeks to see availability and I hope a price drop.

The Sony HK Online site has them however, they only accept orders from HK only.
If you want Dual, check EBay, since I do see some listings there.

Here's the user manual of Xperia Z3 Dual.

At page 51 and 65 you can see how the call and sms screens are.

I ordered it come with charging dock DK48 about 5225 HKD ( 4200 CND )

Also available at offerbank now - ships to most places.

Order mine from never-msrp on eBay. Should be here within the next few days.

For anyone who has a D6633 can you confirm if it has Google framework/play and which region you purchased it in?

available in Saudi Arabia through this website www.z3preorder.com
for 2999 SR - Approx $800.00 US dollars

As mentioned in another thread, The port flaps of the d6633 on each side are the same size unlike the d6603. I actually placed my order with gsmnation for the d6603 but they send me the the d6633. Wtf.. Lol. Not a big deal cuz both will still work with the major us carriers and plan on using with one network.
Only issue is i'm expecting my z3 case to arrive soon that i had ordered for a d6603. There will problems with the case as the cut out on the left hand side was made for the smaller d6603 port and not the d6633. Thanks gsmnation lol!
So folks looking for cases for z3 in general, understand that the port cutouts of the cases need to be different for d6633 specifically since most are prob made for the d6603.

On the left side, the micro USB port is moved and will be on the same flap on right beside the micro SD, so the left side can hold the two SIMs.
It maybe problem, but not sure. I actually ordered for myself a Z3 case from Nillkin, so I will have to see how it is when I get it.

Xperia S(docomo SO-02D) U.S 3G compatible(Feb release)

Hello XDA followers
Got some good news for people who are anxious about the release of the Xperia S and do not want to wait for the European release
the Xperia S will be released in Japan on Feb 24th
http://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/product/next/so02d/index.html
Whoever wants the Sony Ericsson NX (xperia S) LT26
PM me so i can send you the purchase info
note: its branded Sony Ericsson
this is what it will look like if you order
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh5g2eNTkpg
i see a sim card adaptor
Peace
note: i do not have anything to benefit from this
and famous " alsaqr " is back after a year and bringing back lots of good news for us. Thanks for researching this information and keep us posted on this.
I am definitely interested on one like last year when I got the Japanese ARC from the same seller and his service is very good.
Thank you again.
According to the Xperia S spec sheet, the phone will support U.S. 3G. There will be no "a" and "i" version. As the "i" version will still support at&t 3G.
Networks:
UMTS/HSPA 850/900/1900/2100
GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
I remember that this was a LT26i and even if what you said is correct still having the phone a month earlier is awesome. Maybe you can wait...

I actually got confirmation from unknown13x that the "i" version will be quad band UMTS and will support at&t 3G (which is what the spec sheet states). I am not trying to keep you from ordering the Japanese S. I just wanted to share this info
I really want the ion for its 4.6" screen. I watch a lot of stuff on my arc (mostly anime), so a larger screen and higher res would benefit me greatly. Not to mention the dual-core processor that allows me to watch them directly without reencoding.
1280x720 + 4.6 inch screen = Awesomeness
I like this phone. But it's a pity that they don't allow us to open battery cover on it.

There is no reason to get a model that might be difficult to unlock and has different software when you can just get the European version this time. The Xperia S that will be sold in Europe has support for the AT&T bands you know...
$570 if you get it from Germany. And that gets you a proper unlocked phone with 2-year warranty and all possible software updates.

+1. I agree. I will probably get it from Europe if SonyStyle USA does not sell it. However, people want to have it a month or so earlier to show it off. I don't blame them!

Let's see what comes out of the whole story. So far nothing on the S except pre-orders with no specs. We count on the NX since it is more solid as we can see it or maybe we change our mind.
But always investigation is nice to see your options. I was just wondering if that Acro HD with TV tuner and Antenna works anywhere else besides Japan?

guys as far as i remember (from X10 & ARC) the Docomo models (SO-xx) are slightly different, hardware wise, than the International/Global versions...
the International/Global versions generally get quicker official updates & maximum support, development wise... so the kernels/basebands for these devices may be different and may not support cross flashing (like ARC/ARC S)...
these DoCoMo models may not compatible with standard firmwares (kindly correct me if i am wrong)... so if a new update is released for the International/Global version then it may not work on the DoCoMo version...
so keep the above in mind before buying this...

The official Sony price for unlocked/sim free Xperia Z in Sweden is 6 395,00 kr.
So i'd expect it to be ~6000 in other stores - probably won't get much cheaper than that.
I see that you live in Croatia so it's 6,395.00 SEK = 5,774.75 HRK
ok thank you guys...

4600 SEK is the cheapest right now, but if it's important to you to have an nordicbased firmware or/and unlockable bootloader, I wouldn't buy from a company offering such a low price. Most common price from more wellknown retailers with both physical stores and webshops, such as NetOnNet and Elgiganten seems to be in the area around 5730 to 5800 SEK.

[Q] Refurbished or new?

HI GUYS,
My z1 had camera issues and the service center guys said they will give me a new device but these guys did not take the box, I am wondering that these guys are just bluffing, is there a way for me to find if the device I am getting is new?
I have got my Z1 replaced the same way. They didn't take the box, the charger or the headphones. They gave me a brand new one. It was covered in those plastic film foils, it came in. 534 firmware and, the most important thing, it had A NEW IMEI. So, stay cool. You will get a brand new device for sure.

What price did you pay for your Z1 ? was it online or from a shop. The camera issue you've had has happened to others as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience, hopefully the same procedures are followed back in India.
But do you or anyone actually know how to find if the phone is new or refurbished
Is it possible by the IMEI nukber or ahynsoftware?
I don't think so. Just check the phone's build quality and any traces of it being used before.
Although Sony's policy allows the replacement with a refurbished phone, the law in my country doesn't allow that. It clearly states that the repairs must be done using new materials or - if it comes to a replacement - the replacement device must be a brand new one.

It's a good deal, the online sources tend to beat the shops but then i'm a bit leery to buy something this expensive on line. Don't mind paying a little more premium to avoid such issues. Somebody else had ordered earlier from homeshop18 and had the same issue. Took about a month to get a replacement as the vendor was not in the same city.

IMEI is unique for every phone.
Chance is good you will get a another one as they do not service Z1 in India, it has to be shipped over to Sweden.
Whether new or refurbished is the question ? does it show any wear or tear, you will have to examine closely. Coming in a sealed box does not mean too much.

Would unlocked Z2 work in US? (AT&T)

Hello guys, as title says, if I were to obtained a unlocked Z2, would it have full functionality in USA such as 4G/LTE? I looked a the radio bands listed in their specs and compared it to what AT&T uses, I noticed there were some but not all bands that matched. I would appreciate any help, thank you!

I have been trying to find info on how good the reception on the phone is.. My s4 has **** reception. the htc one I have has much better reception when im at work. I am hovering over a "Buy it Now" button on ebay and want to find out if it has good reception. Also, how is the stock messaging app? I hate using third party ones, they usually have quirks, but again, cant find any info on what the email or messaging apps look like at all.

What's the usual deal with Sony warranties on the unlocked/international version? Could you still get the phone serviced at a Sony center or replaced by calling in an issue if you needed to?
I've never bought an international/unlocked/SIM free type phone before but if Sony fails to bring it to the USA carriers I'm interested in I see no other choice.

Yeah, I ordered the magnetic charging cable from eBay. I ordered it 1 1/2 weeks ago and the seller is from Australia. I'm guessing he doesn't have any stock in like he claims.
The flaps were a put off for me on the Xperia Z (+boom sound) which is why I went with the HTC One last year even though I preferred the looks of the Z.
I'll be making a comparison of Z2 speakers vs HTC One when my screen protector comes in.
Hope yours comes in soon, BTW are you Om Shakti from Whirlpool?

No.. but I do have whirlpool account with the same nick "kamalmawa" as on XDA and I don't remember the last time I logged into whirlpool forums ... For my understanding HTC one have better speakers compares to Z2. This is due to waterproof seal covering the speakers of Z2. So Sony had to sacrifice some of the speaker loudness to keep the phone IP rating.. I remember someone remove the seal on his Z to find the speaker is way louder

No.. but I do have whirlpool account with the same nick "kamalmawa" as on XDA and I don't remember the last time I logged into whirlpool forums ... For my understanding HTC one have better speakers compares to Z2. This is due to waterproof seal covering the speakers of Z2. Yes I understand what you are saying, due to it being waterproof the sound will not be as clear. About the loudness though, I saw a video comparison on youtube by btekt and he says the Z2 is louder then the HTC One M8, but the M8 has a clearer sound.
However I still want to do my own tests with my HTC One M7.
Did Optus users receive noise cancelling earphones? Looks like Vodafone package comes with a crappy standard Sony earphones

I think Optus users also get creepy earphones, but at least they get a pair of free Adidas shoes.

Nah mate, just the regular earbuds. Ive got a pair of MDR-EX210B's which I'll use anyway. Not too fussed about the noise cancellation anyway
I just order a z2 from Vodafone today. But they said that box will not include noise cancelling headphones, just standard headphones.
Only Telstra sell z2 with noise cancelling headphones.
Anyone got the generic au ftf yet?
I haven't found a reason for the AU generic, as I was able to uninstall all the optus bloat stuff. But to answer the question, no.
EDIT: aside from the possibly quicker updates as being a reason
