touchscreen does not work after unsuccessful touchscreen update (galaxy s6102) - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

Hi to all
I have a Samsung galaxy s6102 and some weeks ego I entered a code (*#*#2663#*#*) which supposed to update touch firmware but it failed and touch screen never worked again.
I couldn't repair my phone even by flashing ROM an kernal. I tried method mentioned in this topic but I discovered that screencast does not work on my phone, hence I used ADB shell commands to enter the code (*#*#2663#*#*).
unfortunately just after entering the code this error message pops up: "The application com.sec.android.app.lcdtest (process com.sec.android.app.lcdtest) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
I retried with different ROMs and got the same error.
I am wondering how should I erase touch firmware and flash new one and why flashing ROM and kernel do not replace this firmware?
It would be very appreciated if anyone suggest another solution for my case.

solved
after about 6-7 weeks finally I found a solution for my problem
simply flash stock kernel alone (not all of firmware) by CMW. after that touch would work again and flash any ROM you like
download stock kernel from here

I'm having an issue with mine
Touch doesn't work no matter what kernel or rom I flash using cwm
Phone won't get recognized on pc no matter what cable I use or windows I use, and I have drivers installed properly
I seem to be stuck at the stupid welcome window where it asks that I touch the android to continue
Everything was working just fine when I was on stock, but I made the stupid mistake of not making a nandroid when I flashed lu Kat custom rom and now I don't know what to do anymore
Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] i9506 stuck at samsung logo after odin and no recovery

Hi all,
This is probably the #4829 post with identical topic, a very common issue, but unfurtunately this time i wasn't able to solve it alone so any help will be appreciated.
I own a i9506 (LTE-A edition) S4. until now with a 4.3 ROM.
I was forced to encrypt the device by Microsoft Exchange services and lock it with a code, after a while i decided it's time to upgrade to a new firmware and downloaded a brand new ROM which i found in xda.
I flashed twrp and the new rom, rebooted the device and viola, it freezed on the i9506 logo screen. i tried a different kernel which led me to the code locking screen, every time i tried to type something, it gave me "keyboard stopped" error.
So i decided it's good time to do a full format, so i downloaded an original stock rom for i9506 4.4.2 I9506XXUCNJ1_I9506NEECNJ1_I9506XXUCNF3_HOME.tar.md5 flashed it with Odin (using AP) still, the same issue. tried to do full wipe through original recovery instead of twrp, every time i flash original recovery i'm not able to login to it.
i'm pretty much stuck with flashing and wiping, any idea where to go from here?
Thanks!
Is it carrier locked, and what carrier if it is?

Issues with Booting into OS

Hi, so I decided I wanted to root my blu vivo 5R, being the inexperienced user that I am, I wiped the OS. I really don't know how to get the stock OS working again, I've tried SP Flash Tool, but I simply run into errors such as "cannot pass bootrom start command" (I think it's because the phone doesn't have a removable battery), I also tried adb sideload to load the stock rom, but that gave me an error that says "cannot read". I could really use some help because I don't have many other options than this phone, Thanks in advance :good:
use different version of SP flash
I got same errors using latest version of SP. I used older version and it works perfect.

Rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 has Nonresponsive Touchscreen

Hello all. Today I decided to root my Samsung Galaxy S4, model SM-S975L. I followed a post from these forums to the T, and everything was going great, until my phone went to sleep and then locked. After it was locked, the touch screen stopped responding. I gave it a reboot and it worked until locked yet again, and again and again and again. I then attempted to use a USSD code that was supposed to bring up some kind of fix to the touch screen firmware, I believe, and the code didn't do anything. Got a pop up that said it was running the USSD code and then nothing happened, it just disappeared. I was also unable to update the su binary when I downloaded SuperSU. Don't know if this is related. Below is the link I used to root my phone. Any help would be wonderful!

Judging by that guide, you did not root your device, you installed a completely different firmware.
Not only that, but it is an old version too.
I suggest you download this version and in the configuration screen select "STOCK KERNEL".
It's pretty much the same process as with the other version.
I forgot to mention I rooted my device with the PC version of KingoRoot, and when I used a root checker app it did say it was rooted.
But say I go this route, am I to also install open gapps? And does it need to be a different version?
So my touch screen stopped working again, this time during the AROMA installer. Managed to get through that with the volume keys and power button. Then it took me back to the screen from TWRP where it says I successfully installed the zip. But my phone is locked and my touch screen is not working. What to do? Please, anybody... I don't want to just pull the battery because I still need to wipe the cache and dalvik and doing that to your phone isn't good for it anyways, from my understanding. Please, I don't want to make it even worse if I can avoid it!

Then flash any other ROM that does not have the word "Optimized" or "Aroma" in its name.
You can also flash the official Lineage ROM, I assume it should work.
I attempted to unroot by flashing the original firmware for my Galaxy S4 and ended up soft bricking it, I think. It says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." Kies is not recognizing the phone. Am I correct in thinking it is soft bricked? If so, how can this be fixed? Please explain as if you were explaining to a child, I am clearly not very good at this.

try flashing it with Odin again, Kies isn't needed, just connect it to PC(while in that screen) and flash the stock rom with Odin, it should recognize it.

[Brick] Galaxy S5 Neo

Good evening everyone,
is this the correct Forums part to post questions like this? If not, please tell me where to post, thanks!
As the title says, I bricked my phone. I rooted it some days ago and was trying to unroot it, by installing a stock rom. Since I didn't know how to get the correct Region code, I download a custom ROM which said "everywhere" and guess that was the mistake. I tried to flash it with ODIN, the same way I flashed the custom ROM back then, but ODIN showed an error (which I can't remember). So in the end I pulled the cable and now have an error upon start up which says "An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software". Said software doesn't offer any emergency recovery function.
I can still boot into download mode. I tried to install the custom ROM again, but but ODIN doesn't recognize the phone.
What can I do to fix this? What additional information do you need to provide help?
I thank you in advance for all suggestions and wish you a nice evening!
~Guppy
