Nobody seems to like this post... Should I add them?

I have been using first batch XT1033 for 6 months and no issues at all.

Yes. Otherwise I don't see the point of this tread. I think most who might be interested in your findings would like to see what it actually is you discovered in the event their device needs replaced. I had a bad vibrate motor which was replaced with a new unit and the only side by side difference was the screen was a warmer hue on the new device.

my x10 after repair

hey,
my phone was bricked (hardware // USB) so i gave it to 3 and got it back after 1 1/2 week.(yesterday)
First i noticed that i've got a new IMEI (0123....) instead of (0359.... or something similar) that means i got a new motherboard/mainboard.
then i noticed that it run smoother then before and there are less laggs/bugs (SAME FW)
today i noticed that the speaker is VERY loud instead of the low volume before.
is that possible that those things got changed through the new mainboard/motherboard?
thx 4 answers
I smell a troll..
0123 is a dev phone as far as i know and you wont have been given one by three

Ahh now my IMEI is
012379
I don't want to butt in, and I'm a newbie here, but I do want to mention that I also sent in an X10i for service and it was replaced with a new one whose IMEI starts with 01237900.
I'm in the US, my X10i was bought from expansys, and its original IMEI started with 35941903. I sent it to SE service in the US in September because it kept rebooting, and after a long wait in late October I got back a replacement with a different IMEI that, as I mentioned, starts with 01237900.
Maybe they give those phones as replacements then.

no, i can give you some pics and the full IMEI
Is it really faster and louder?
so if this is true, maybe the incall volume really is a hardware issue and not software.
I did notice a small difference in volume after the 2.1 update though, very strange.

Doesnt seem to be a hardware issue, as if you do a skype test call it's very loud (allbeit a tad crackly).
Hmmm...I wondered why my IMEI looked weird when I got my replacement. Looks like I have a dev phone too. COOL!
I got my x10 yesterday after 21 days and the PCB has been changed.. IMEI starts with 01237 also the PCB looks different than the old one

Ok, so if we do have dev phones, whats the diff between retail and dev phones?
Proto types or as some of you are calling them "dev" actually begin with 00. Commercial products begin with 35 and now 01 is the new naming of all new SE's tranceivers rolling out.
No hardware changes on new imei, although you might have received a sw update

I'm guessing we'd have more control over system files and doing dev work on it, but that doesn't mean squat if you don't have the official hardware to connect to the phone and dev software on the phone.
edit: Or maybe not^^ lolz.
So it is worth for me to purposely brick my device to get a better board =D ?
PS: Still on Warranty.

Looks 20 - 30 March Handsets are no issue!!!
Had 3, they were all **** with lots of build quality issues like dead pixels, jaggy mp3/usb ports and gaps between speakers and the phone, which in turn made it uncomfortable to swipe near the top and bottom. Decided to ditch the One in the end because I couldn't be bothered exchanging all the time and I'm getting a GS4 on the 26th now.
Dunno the models though as my network picked them up, was early April models though.

Moto G 4G has a gyroscope!

Motorola added a gyroscope to the 4G version so you can take Photospheres with the Google Camera app.

Dunno, but I don't find having a gyro so important.
Why are you guys so excited about it?

For me it's all about photosphere. It's a really cool feature.
I sold my regular Moto G to get a 4g LTE version...
Didn't notice the gyroscope before, but after reading this thread, tested the camera and looks like the gyroscope is there...
Is Moto G 4G already available in US? I cannot find it for example on BestBuy website, why?

You can buy the Moto G LTE from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Moto...ie=UTF8&qid=1402849608&sr=8-4&keywords=moto+g
It supports both ATT and T-Mobile LTE bands

That works on my Nexus 4, but I really don't find it useful. It's like 360 degree panorama (crappy one...)
Oh well, that's what I think of it. If you find it useful, then have fun with it
Guess this explains why the LTE comes with Spotlight Player installed as a system app :cyclops:

The launch price is £149, but in the UK, it's being quoted as £10 more for £159. Considering you can now get the moto g for £100 quite easily (I got it for £78 with vouchers etc), its still a fantastic deal, so don't feel left out . As ever, you get what you pay for.

My friend asked me for an entry level android phone recommendation; I think I am going to tell him to grab this 4g one. Now with the gyroscope, very cool. High end features in a cheap device. Seems like a solid android device. I have an N5 myself, which I really like, but this phone seems pretty good. You guys like it?

I am not sure of where exactly I signed up. I believe it was on the Moto site, perhaps it was the page where the droid Maxx stuff is. You will have to look around.
Doesn't matter for me, I'm too reliant on Xposed and I'll have to wait for that to update first.

To be eligible for a soak test, you must sign up to be part of the Motorola Feedback Network (MFN). Motorola picks from a pool of registered users and sends the soak test update to their devices. Click here for details.

The moto voice app can give us these options before lollipop, at least that is what I am hoping for.

Moto E (2015)(Gen2)(Update)

2nd gen Moto E, have a look..
key features:
1) Moto voice seems to be pre-installed...see the video...when he will swipe the app drawer take a closer look at top right area of 2nd page.(See pic1)
2) it looks like Motorola came up with a way to utilize Moto Display on the 2nd Generation Moto E without an AMOLED screen - probably similar to how Peek works things (see pic2)
Hopefully, motorola ports these features to motoE gen1 , as there are no hardware changes in both the phones...if no...xda will come up with them very soon !

Updated Info:
Update 2-61-15:
1) it does not have moto voice ..its just a moto assist.
2) there is active display that wakes upon moving the device same as moto x (same. no difference)
3) double flip the device to open camera...again flip once (shake) once to have front camera...
