[Q] Phone won't detect my network operator (Resolved)

A few days ago I flashed my galaxy y s5360L with stock firmware from a different country. Since then I cannot connect to my network and so I cannot make or recieve calls.
This are the files I used:
PIT - totoro_0623.pit
Bootloader - DefaultCalDataWithBoot_S5360DDLA1_REV05.tar.md5
PDA - PDA_S5360DDLA1_REV05.tar.md5
PHONE - MODEM_S5360DDLA1_REV05.tar.md5
CSC - GT-S5360-MULTI-CSC-ODDLA1.tar.md5
I tried restoring a backup I had made with clockworkmod but It still wouldn't work. I used wiped data/reset and wipe cache partition and nothing changed.
I downloaded my country's (Puerto Rico) stock firmware from sammobile and flashed it with Odin (S5360LUHLA1_S5360UWALA1_S5360LUHLA1_HOME.tar.md5) .
I found my csc using *#272*IMEI# and it installed but the problem is still going on. When I go to settings-->wireless and network-->mobile networks-->network operators no matter how many times I search it only finds T-Mobile USA and my provider is Claro.
The problem shouldn't be with the SIM because it works perfectly on other phones.
Any idea how to fix this?

Download the right Odin files of ur area from doky's thread
U can find it under stikies in development section ...
Y would u flash a different country's firmware? ??

I already checked and he doesn't have firmware for my area (Puerto Rico).
When I flashed it the first time I didn't know different areas used different firmwares.

After u flashed ur region's stock..try wiping cache n data once again..n I hope u did a reset before flashing..or else do it again..

U have to register ur phone to samsung...
At the end of 1st page of doky's thread...maybe a little above..there is a code..
Something like *272*(imei)#..

Warning : it will erase all ur phone's data...not sd card...only phone..so better create a backup

I already did that and I did find my csc (PCT) but I still can't connect to my provider or even detect it.

I used Galaxy Toolbox and unlocked the phone but it will still only find T-Mobile USA when I search for networks.

UMTS apears as LIMITED, and i can't get into de UMTS service menu heelp how do i fix this problem

I think I9500 is an international version and its already unlocked what exactly u are trying to do ?

Can't Unlock SIM either, here's what I've tried so far
Hi everyone. I haven't been able to SIM unlock my Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 phone either :crying: My phone it's rooted. I'll list all the methods I've tried and nothing has helped me so far. Here they are:
I've also followed the SIM Unlocking tutorial, but nothing happens when I press "Menu/Back/Input Code/1", and with this method I can't access Service Mode menu.
Reading and reading, I've found another way to get access to ServiceMode, and it's the following:
Press Menu
Press "Back"
Press Menu
Press "Key Input"
Enter "Q0000" (case-sensitive, those are 4 zeroes, no quotes), then 'Ok'
Then wait about 10 seconds and the Main Menu will appear
Doing this, I've read the following menus has to be accesed to disable the lock:
Select [1] DEBUG SCREEN
Select [8] PHONE CONTROL
Select [6] NETWORK LOCK
Supposedly there has to be an option called "[1] PERSO SHA256 Info" but in my case it appears as "MENU NOT EXIST Current Command is 186" and I don't know what to do next...
I've tried the RegionLock Away app:
I select the Region Unlock option.
The message "It appears the patch was succesfull" appears.
I touch the "Reboot" option but it doesn't reboots by itself. After a manual reboot, the phone it's still locked....
The app recommends do a second reboot, and even so, I'm still SIM locked.............
Someone suggested trying a paid app GalaxSim Unlock which claims to support Galaxy S4, so I gave it a try. But after it ran it's process this message appears: "Your device contains a new locking system which is not supported yet.", so FAIL again
[* ] Finally I've read I have to change my phone using Odin and that I need to be on ME2 (baseband?) but that sounds too risky for me to try, I don't want to ruin my phone!
SOOO.... What can I do? Is there another way to try to SIM unlock this phone? Can somebody help me please?

That's what you need to do. Nothing risky about it, just revert back to your current (or similair) modem when you are done. Use the region away app on the ME2 modem.

I guess it was so important to him that he had to cross post in the S4 SIM Unlocking thread.

If you put your sim in and doesn't ask for code.... Then don't worry just use it. If you need to put different sim in and asks for code. .. That's when you will need the code. If it still doesn't ask for code then probably phone is already unlocked.

I doubt it is carrier-locked, it looks more like region-locked.
Also in this case it might be a problem since for Vietnam (XXV, XEV) the original Samsung version was N9000 (the Exynos one) - and I believe there is no N9005 firmware with a CSC corresponding to XXV or XEV.
You should probably look around for other owners/users in Vietnam.
If you find nothing you should try to insert an EU SIM and see if it works (assuming the N9005 was bought in EU, otherwise a SIM from the country from where it was bought).
In the future when you need help you might see more feedback if you provide more details - for instance your current firmware in the phone , you can see those after *#1234# , also reading and searching around the forums here has never hurt anyone

The software inside your N9005 suggests a Hong-Kong software version (which does not 100% guarantee that it was a Hong-Kong phone in the first place, but nothing does).
I am afraid I have no experience with what happens there - you really need to ask somebody with a N9005 and Vietnam SIM.

Just looked at your video but can't see anything in the status bar. Can you go into about phone and then status to see the service state... If in service or not. Also can you get Internet on the phone

G900F lost service after new rom flash?

Hey guys! I recently bought a Galaxy S5 through an ad a week ago and everything was working perfectly!
I then decided to flash the XtreStoLite rom because I was excited about the features and after I had flashed
it everything booted up without any issues and the network showed i had full service. A few hours passes by
and I notice I havent recieved any text messages or calls and that's when I notice that it says I can only make emergency calls.
I reflashed stock samsung rom but I still had the same issues. I first thought it was blacklisted / barred but for every other day
I keep searching for the IMEI to pop up in any of the databases but still nothing... Every service tells me the phone is unlocked.
I have no idea what to do or try at this point since I live in Sweden and bought the phone in Denmark and I dont even know what carrier
it was under

Nobody with any tips on what I could do? Still to this day every IMEI check site I go to says the IMEI is clean and all these errors started happening after I flashed another rom..
What are my options at this point?

I'm still stuck in between every site telling me the phone is unblocked and being stuck with the phone saying "not connected to network".. What can I do at this point? I've been googling alot but did not find any answers at all.

I think I have the same problem. I bought the phone from private seller so I don't know what was the actual location of the phone.

My phone says IMEI passes, and network is unblocked. I flashed Alliance rom and it worked last night. This morning it kicked me off all data. No phone number and no network access. I go to dial and I get the roaming warning for US Cellular. I posted my own thread and found this one as well. I also sent a PM to Alliance rom dev and posted in that thread. I need some serious help.
Edit: I also have no PRL version, no "MIN", no phone number, and "mobile network state" says disconnected.

Go to Settings/More neworks/Mobile networks/Access Point Names!
If there are no entries, something is wrong. You need the APS´s for connecting the the network.
You cant find the correct APN´s of your Provider with google or in the FAQ of your Provider.
If you have them, you can enter the APN´s manually by klicking the "+" and type the address for web and then for mms. Its needed.

Try to flash maybe a different Rom, or try the stock one again, just 4 testing, if it´s working again.

Try flashing a stock firmware via Odin. Get one from Sam Mobile. Had a friend that something similar happened to him and in the end it turned out the phone was blacklisted, even showing a clean IMEI in multiple sites. Also, if you have lying around a backup of your EFS, try restoring that and see if it fixes your problem (fixed mine once).

I've tried Echo rom, Xtrolite, stock & phoenix.
Currently im on latest stock rom updated with Kies. Only thing i've modified is root & install recovery but other than that it's all stock.
At this point I'm thinking about getting a asansam box and try fixing the phone myself.

Note 4 SM-N910G Not registering on Network

Guys i am creating this thread after searching everywhere but not getting solution about this issue which i am having with Note 4. By attaching pictures i may not be explain the problem so i uploaded it on youtube. Please devs help me as I have not been able to make it work after trying so many things.

I check if IMEI is corrupt or something using PHONE INFO and there it showed the imei and i also check it on the back of phone and it matched.

I think i have same problem with you.. My Note 4 N910G does not registered by any network providers since i've installed Stock ROM from INU. Last time till now i can't using SIM CARD into it and i'm using WiFi Hotspot, cause if i attaching SIM CARD, my phone will suddenly dead when looking for signals.
I hopes someone can explains about my problem, before i have to brings my phone to service centre.

Its same here bro. Since phone is not registering to any SIM i have been just using as Tablet by connecting to WIFI only..
Devs kindly help. Suggest something to try regarding this problem please.

I think that i will try to fixing from software first, maybe with flashing its modem or baseband file before i decides to fixing hardware sections ( about PA Chip).
Cause its happened after i've upgrading my phone with new updates firmware fom Sam Mobile.
But i hopes someone in this forum can gives a solution to solves this problem.
And well.. For while, we just satisfying with a new model, Samsung GN 4 ( wifi only) edition :laugh:

Yeah in tried to fix if it was due to software, i tried to install official firmware Lollipop but it didnt booted. then i tried Marshmallow using Odin, Odin passed but didnt booted.. it was having continuous bootloops so again i reverted back to N910GDTU1ANK3_ODD1ANK3_India_v4.4.4_Repair_Firmware .. Phone is ON but with same issue.. Wired thing is that i am only been able to Install Philz touch recovery but anyother custom recovery like n910g-cwm-recovery-6.0.5.1(1101) or twrp-3.1.1-0-trlte.img are not booting into recovery...
Now as i am back to official 4.4.4. i tried to check using dialer code *#0011# ie of service mode. i am posting the image kindly tell me Guys if anything is wrong or something is preventing it from getting registered to network
when i am going to setting of my phone-->more network-->Mobile networks-->Network operators--> ( i can clearly see the network of my sim card over there)
but when i am trying to select it after sometime of registering on Ncell it says Unable to Connect
