Your only option is to fix that button. Clearly a hardware issue.

but sometimes it works..the issue came in existence after i put my frien's sd card on my phone
so i had a little doubt that its a hardware issue
anyway
thank you for your help
i will contact my customer care center for that

[Q] Galaxy S IV GT-i9500 No Recovery Mode

Hi,
I have a problem with my galaxy S iV. I tried all hard reset buttons on the net. i done did search also before posting. Unfortunately I cant open recovery mode its stuck in logo.
and the logo is different from others that i have seen also here is a sample of what it looks like
the one in this :
w w w . gadgethelpline . c o m/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Galaxy-S4-Boot-logo.jpg
or you can search Galaxy S IV GT-i9500 Logo
so i was thinking it must have something to do about it. so any one can help?
i tried
Volume up+ power
Volume up + Volume Down + power
Volume up + home + power
Volume up + volume down + home + power
Volume down + home + power
Volume down + power ( when i do this tho i get to enter test mode)
so any one got any idea?
i'd appreciate any tip. Thanks.!
Flash stock rom. That should sort things out.
But i cant enter download/recovery mode so how can i flash it? and its stucked to logo so i cant really turn on usb debugging mode
Your "SIV" is likely a fake. The logo is a dead giveaway, as Samsung stopped using Roman numerals after the SIII. To test, try to enter download mode using volume down, home, and power. A genuine S4 would present a warning and prompt you to press a key to continue. If nothing happens then your device is definitely fake.

For real? wow, so that explains why I cant get it to work. thanks for the info. I guess this solves the problem. thanks alot
you can also reboot ur phone to recovery using adb. Have you tried that?
It may help, but without a ROM to install he's stuck. These Chinaphone fakes don't generally have ROMs available for them, as their only purpose is to defraud the buyer. These things are the fake Rolex watches of the 21st Century.

Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 Stuck in Download Mode !!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all fine.
I just brought an S4 2 days ago, and I was forced to Root it using Odin.
The process went well I had my phone rooted and working Fine,Until today when I was listening to music in my phone, and I wanted to turn down the Volume a little bit, but the Volume down button didn't work !!!( it's not a hardware probleme because it was working perfect this morning, but after I gave the phone to my lil sis she had done something in the settings I thinks), so after that I tried to turn off my phone to see if the volume button will work(it was the first time I shut down the phone after the root),and then an error showed up with a yellow triangle on the bottom of the screen, the error message is ''Warning!! A custom OS can cause a critical problems in your phone and installed applications. If you want download a custom os press the volume up key. Overwise, press Down key to cancel. Volume up : continue Volume down cancel ( restart phone) '' . I tried to press both Volume buttons but it didn't work, so I tried to shut it down again and press volume up buton +home+ power button then the phone turned on with the Samsung galaxy S4 screen I was so happy but when it did turn on it was On safe mode -_- , right now I can't flash the room because I can't press the Volum Up button to Continue to Download mode, Right now I'm still at safe mode and waiting for your ideas , Please help me guys I'm new in this Forum a friend of mine told me to post here and they will help you.So please help me.
So you're no longer stuck in download mode but are in safe mode. Power off the S4 and turn it back on. If safe mode reappears then your volume down button is stuck. [EDIT] If you cannot enter download mode, your volume up button is stuck. Exchange the S4 for another unit if possible. If not possible, whack the left edge gently against a table to try and unstick the button. If that doesn't work the button on the motherboard needs to be replaced.

Thx bro for answer !!!
When i try pressing just Volume + and Power
My phone restart and black screen and restart and black screen TT
Flash a stock ROM through Odin. That should get you back to a running state. From there you can customize as needed. None of the key combinations need the home button to work, so you shouldn't have issues. But, you should repair that home button anyway.
if you still have a recovery then you need to let go of the buttons as soon as you see blue text at the top of the screen. if you continue holding the buttons it will try to boot the rom...
With broken home you can not enter recovery mode or download mode. Recommend replace a new home button or sell it to buy a new phone.
I dont think you need the home button. Press and hold volume up. Then press power button and release it after a few sec but keep holding volume up.
Same method applies for download mode only then with volume down.
@DSA: Next thing you know, he will have a way to reset the Knox flag.

Did you try this?
Here’s how to enter Safe Mode on a Galaxy S10 smartphone:
Shut down your Galaxy S10 smartphone
Hold the Power button key and release it when the SAMSUNG logo appears on the display
Right afterward, press and hold the Volume Down button
Hold the Volume Down button until the device boots up, and the Safe Mode text appears in the bottom left corner
