Please help me.. I have updated a SGH - I337m with Claro on 4.2.2 to a stock 4.4.2 NE3 trought ODIN and lost the signal inmediately. Emergency Calls only. Not registered on network when I try to conect manualy.
I`m not shure that my phone has unlocked and now is locked newer, but I dont have a Claro Sim card to know, I use TIGO.
I have tried to unlock with RegionLock Away and not work for me, I have tried rooting, instaled TWRP, Philz Touch and Safestrap and I cant change my modem to try the unlock again. I tried flashing modems MF3, NC1, NE1, and I cant.
I tried too flash stock firmware 4.4.2 NE1, NC1, NE 2 , custom rom 4.4.2 and the baseband keep ever the same NE3.
Not work the Codes like *#0011#
Please help me what can I do.
My Bootloader is NE3.

*Edith: I got install NC1 modem but still cant do the unlock tutorial because never can install de MF3 modem trought Safestrap. I believe is my Bootloader my problem.

I have a question due to the LTE Modems for the Omega v17 Rom.
At the moment I´m running Omega v15 - XXUEMJ9, the Bootloader is still the old XXUBMGA, no Knox viod...
Since Omega v16 in the discription stand´s:
"**If you are having the old bootloader XXUB flash GSM_Modem_XXUEMJ5_and_LTE_Modem_XXUBMH1.tar file with odin by selecting phone.
**If you are having the new bootloader XXUD flash GSM_Modem_XXUEMJ5_and_LTE_Modem_XXUEMJ5.tar file with odin by selecting phone....
This step is necessary to be done correct because XXUEMJ5 LTE modem will break your sound on old Bootloader"
So my question is, now in v17, the Modems which released are XXUEMKF, when I want to Update to v17, could I flash the LTE Modem MKF or will it break my sound like the MJ5 Modem becouse I´m running the old Bootloader?
If this is so, I have to flash the GSM Modem XXUEMKF and for LTE I use still the MH1 Modem?

When I bought my phone the guy at the store upgraded my S5 to the ANG3 firmware so towelroot didnt work, so I had to use odin to flash the older AND3 firmware to get towelroot working as per this guide:

Im confused about the flashing though, because through the process my baseband did not change number but towelroot DID work. Was the flashing not supposed to downgrade? I want to get another rom on this thing but the tutorial for safestrap specifies AND3

can you help please. I have just downgraded from Lollipop to Kit Kat via Odin.
All appeared well except that it no longer works as an actual phone!! The Imei is now showing a NULL and Baseband appears as UNKNOWN.

You need to flash a Lollipop modem. Or you could reflash the Lollipop firmware.
I wouldn't flash the link above you. He has no description at all of the file.

Just as OP, I downgraded to kitkat, in my case because of the terrible battery life S4 gets in lollipop. I have spend days trying to fix this, I have tried all kinds of wipes and ROMs, until I got a decent lollipop ROM and flashed just the modem image, and the problem was fixed!
I thought I had wiped my IMEI, because of the IMEI null and Baseband UNKNOWN issue, but as soon as I flashed the corresponding modem, I "got it back". I do recomend you however, to backup your EFS partition, because apparently you *can* wipe your IMEI when you flash ROMs.

I have Samsung galaxy s4 (i9505) locked to orange UK. It's on lollipop 5.0.1.
I have tried unlocking it by the tutorial but i have read that the menu is locked on my device.
My question is would i be able to unlock it by flashing older firmware (and if im safe to do it)?

Try this: Flash a 4.2.2 modem, root, run regionlockaway, flash 5.01 modem.
