I don't know about Ubuntu, but MIUI and OmniRom seems to be very resource consuming, and Moto E will not run stable as CM11 or PA.
This is what a heard. Maybe with the improvements in android lollipop, we can get any of this somehow in a distant future.

Even though they are resource consuming but they can run easily in Moto E...I have used them in devices like galaxy y which have much lower specs than moto E.

Has some version what are you based? I wonder what functions that OmniROM have compared with Cyanogenmod. There are any page who list? Anyway, great news to know who there are more ROM's to Moto E.

I'm just saying, but Ubuntu porting is really hard. I looked up on the page and I read the guide and you have to do much modification in both, kernel and device tree. It's really hard and time consuming. Idk if any dev out there would do it for our device. But let's see.

ColorOS uses same structure as MIUI and Lewa. So I guess there is not a big chance of ColorOS as we don't even have MIUI.

No problem.
But what really annoys me, is that at 99% it stuck at syncing. I wasted 5 hours on sitting and watching and now this. Thank you github/PC/my life for doing such a great thing to me.
Well, I guess I'll have to resync..
EDIT: Finally found what the problem was. In default.xml a repo was there which doesn't exists anymore. That's why it simply stopped at this point. Now it worked and I'm done syncing. I can start building now!

Info about cm13 for the G2

Hey guys, most of us know that cm13 is in the works for our beloved G2, but I don't think many of us know anything about the development.
Do any of you have any information about how the development is going?

No, unfortunately... This time I got an error about "No private recovery resources for TARGET_DEVICE", I made some research and don't find anything explicit. I'll try more this week, but I work, so I can't do as much as I did last week-end. Also, I think @Rashed97 is the maintainer on github, so every progress came from him. We also have to wait until we have all necessary files. But I'll try again and again, don't worry dude !
so excited for trying marshmallow on g2
there's some temporary commits on gerrit, which fixes cm-13.0 build for g2.
But, as I said, they're temporary. When cm13 gets the cm12.1 features, these commits won't be needed.
Great Daniel, thanks! There is a chance that you could share an alpha cm13 with us? just for curiosity of course, I'm expecting that most isn't working at the moment
The reason no one has posted builds yet is because cm13 is unusable as a daily driver. RIL isnt fully working and I don't know what else is broken since I don't use it much. When it's stable enough, then we'll start distributing test builds.

I think we are just getting excited including me. This little phone has gone a long way. They are working hard, seems like new activity on the commits every day. I think we all appreciate the work and its hard to contain ourselves especially when we start seeing all the development activity. Seems to happen every release cycle, patience versus readiness. Look forward to the build when it's ready, I think they will give us something good.
Oh my, i want android m on my lg g2 so bad

Its really hard for the devs to know how far they are let's say they get most the bugs out but one then when they try and fix that one bug other bugs come around only to make things worse but let's hope that like last year it'll be mid November for the new android to start rolling out for us.

SailfishOS is coming to Moto X!

What can i say, i just bought device today and will port SailfishOS onto it (you can check my signature for rest of my ports). It will be rather fast and easy to do it
One question lineage13 has smallest number of bugs? Or is there something better (more stable without bugs)?

It would be fantastic... but really? It seems a joke? I've been using Lineage os 13 from a long time; I've tried almost all the existing roms for Ghost, perhaps some have more atouts, but Los is by far the smoothest and less bugged. Only my opinion, though Good work, dude! My best regards

I've not the skills to say something about it, I can only wish good luck, for you and for us all, steady owner of this beloved and special Ghost! By the way, the issues are always the same, more or less, they concern audio and camera HALS. In Lineage 13, though, camera works perfectly and audio is good, even if it isn't as crispy as it is in the stock rom, when recording videos. But, in any case, it is a little and insignificant detail?

I got it on my P2XL and its noticeably less laggy compared to Pie. The strange thing is that the animations feel a lot smoother which could potentially fix some issues if ported to the N6. Also I love the dark theme that's included.

Happy that people are continuing with N6. I can't bear the skinny screens & mono speaker of newer phones. Skinny screens suck.
If Moto or LG (don't trust other manus build quality) built a 6"+ stereo spkrs 16:9 phone I'd probably buy it used in a couple years for under $200.
