Android App Development without Java? - Java for Android App Development

Hello,
I am a web developer who mainly works with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and MySQL but for one of my web applications, I would like to create an android app but I do not know java.
If there any other way to do such?

Using an app builder service

You may use Phonegap

Use phonegap it can be downloaded from here http://phonegap.com/

Indeed Phonegap is the well know for that. With few search u can find others solutions too.
developer.html5dev-software.intel.com/index.php?q=content/overview-appmobis-development-tools-and-services

There are several options. Phonegap is perhaps the best one.

Syncing (statistical) data between Android devices

Gold evening everybody!
I'm working on an APP for organzing private lessons im giving. Recording the stuff i taught etc. So not that many data records.
However, i'll Start using a tablet the Nest weeks besides my loved phone. Thus, a sync between these two would be am essential point.
Are there solutions for that? Do you have and Tipps? I was seeing a solution by using the gdrive account as transitional cloud storage.
Alle the bests and i hope you know what i mean.

Browser from previous Android versions

Coming from HTC ONE to the Xperia Z2. I love this phone but I seriously want to throw it against a brick wall because I am so frustrated with the browsers on offer. I am used to the ease and simplicity of the old stock Android browsers. Chrome, Firefox, Dolphin etc are just terrible in comparison. For **** sake, I can't even sort bookmarks with these things. I want to open my browser app and have a home page (google) open and ready to search, be able to sort my bookmarks in order and be able to zoom in and out by double tapping.
Is there any way I can get an older version of the stock android browser back?

i seriously second this thought... stock is so very pure and user friendly...
I thought Google made chrome the stock browser in 4.4

My replacement z2 from 3 that had customised firmware had the stock android browser included along with chrome, mind you I have flashed the stock UK rom which I don't think includes it.

Actually back in 4.1
Is there a third party browser similar to stock android browser?
Unfortunately no, not as far as I can see. They all seem to be pretty much the same, unnecessary difficult.

Thanks for the smart ass insulting link. I'm not a ****ing idiot. I did search before I posted.
I've tried installing the ASOP browser but it didn't work. Maybe with root it might.

Thanks for trying to act the smarts$$ there
AOSP Browser will use an old version of Chromium Webview which is very laggy compared to the one used in Chrome...

You're talking about this browser?

Yes. I've followed instructions on installing the older ASOP browser. It installs, but won't open for more than a split second.
I'm slowly getting used to Firefox, but not being able to organize my bookmarks is just ridiculous.

Do you mean it will be laggy on Kitkat or laggy compared to Chrome? Honestly I'd put up with the lag for the ease of use and ability to manage my bookmarks.
At great personal risk, based on the previous LMGTFY posts, I would like to bump this thread.
I just got my Z2, and I notice that there is no AOSP or similar "generic" browser.
Interestingly, my Nvidia Shield Tablet (also 4.4.2) did come with a version of the "standard" ("stock") Android browser as well as Chrome.
Yes, I can try whatever I find in the Play Store, but I would like to hear other users' experiences.

can you submit your website

I want some website to learn android or java

You could start with interactive tutorials on codecademy.com or khanacademy.org
As stated above, I would go with codecademy.com since they just released a Java section. It has an interactive code editor during the tutorials. I learned all my html, css, and Javascript from that website, I highly recommend it.
Mybringback/thenewboston series on YouTube is also great for starting out.

I do recommend Mybringback/thenewboston too. And if you want to learn android studio, do search Slidenerd Youtube channel.
Check here, I have made a summary of tutorials and references from the web, on how to start learning the Android SDK.
Hope it helps you out

Edit pdf text, images ad elements

Is there an app that I can use for above mentioned purposes.
I have tried squid, xolo pdf and write on pdf. These let me annotate and then edit my annotations but if I want to edit existing text or elements I can't do that.
Please advise what app to use. Thanks ~~~~

You can't edit text with it.

You gotta convert pdf to word then convert back to pdf. There are many free online conversion tools available.
ezPDF
ezPDF can view and annotate PDF files but not edit them. Play Store is short of such apps and most of them has an expensive subscription-based system. If you need it just to write out the fillable fields, Adobe Fill & Sign will be enough, and it's free. If not, you may try this pdf editor https://edit-pdf.pdffiller.com Works well, but the trick that you never know it's paid until trying to save the document you'd just finished!
You could try Xodo, it has some nice options.
