Samsung galaxy s3 neo GT-i9300i ...! - Galaxy S III General

Hi guys
I bought the new galaxy s3 neo GT-i9300i which for me it was the best in it's range specially Grand2 . And when I compare it to the original model GT-i9300 I found it's better than 9300 in 2 main points :
1- 1.5 Gb ram . Avilable 1.35 Gb
2- 2 lines
I also need to confirm that GT-i9300i is 1.4 Gb arm cortex a7 processor not 1.2 and its almost have same settings as the GT-i9300 . I know that most of you will say that 9300 is better in matter of processor because it's cortex a9 but it's same speed and the gpu in 9300 is better but I confirm that I played most of hardcore games with no lag.
Now my question why can't I find dedicated fourm for GT-i9300i or any custom rom ?because theory it's almost same device in general aspects .
Hope to see more members that own this device comment on this topic .

tegra now?...why so late???omg...
Its already available in India since a month. Its more like a Dual Core version of Galaxy S rather than S2. It has almost same features of Galaxy S except for dual core. 5 MP cam, 512 Mb Ram, 4.1 inch SLCD screen etc.
http://www.flipkart.com/mobiles/sam...qw--&ref=16a7bad0-7777-4e16-b755-cc8f2840eccc
it has 1GB RAM 4.19" and SLCD and flash LED.
I don't think this counts as a Galaxy S II, or even a Galaxy S device...
The closer aproach would be like an S2 SCL. S is i9000 and S SCL I9003, this is I9103 and S2 is the original I9100, so more or less like S2 SCL.
But it's Galaxy R (with different hw)...not Galaxy S2...though the code is I9103...very strange...
I have a Galaxy R (i9103) and a Galaxy S (i9000).
Galaxy R is a nice phone. Very very fast and good looking. I think it is very similar to the S2 (i9100) because it looks like it has the same crap implementation of the Yahama DAC. Galaxy S sounds waaay better with Voodoo Sound and I am still using it as my personal phone.
If the only difference is the CPU+GPU part, S2 ROMs may be kind of "compatible". Changing the kernel and other details could be the only needed actions to get some proper ROMs for this phone.

The Galaxy R does everything a Galaxy Tab 10.1 does, but it fits into the pocket of your Jeans.

Lol its very well documented that Mali is (a lot) faster than tegra II...
please don't start this again and do your researches before posting random benchmarks trying to prove something that's not true...
If benchmark scores were to be taken seriously, I can have higher scores than yours without overclocking my phone as you did to get those scores...

The back of the phone looks better than our Exynos models... we still blow every phone out of the water though in terms of performance .

On custom roms for sure Come on, why should you overclock if you have originally faster cpu (1,2 vs 1,0) ?
I tested both handsets (stock roms) and results of quadrant, smartbench, cf... were almost the same, little higher in favor of sgs2 (1,2 ghz ex compared to tegra's 1 ghz). Clocked to 1.2 ghz tegra had slightly better scores in every test.
No need to argue about that, I know what experts say about exynos' and tegra's performance. The thing is that for average user is really hard to notice which of those two handsets is snappier.

which is better ((galaxy S)) OR ((S plus)) OR ((SL))

If you want good community support and planty of xda activity Galaxy S is unbeatable.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
I9000 of course
I9001 > I9000 > I9003
Personally like I9000.....
If you are into Modding and flashing, then go for S. If you want performance go with S+. If you want the phone to cost less ,choose SL.

The original Samsung Galaxy S i9000.
i9000 (PowerVR SGX540) > i9001 (Adreno 205) > i9003 (PowerVR SGX530).
Galaxy s. As said, better community, more stuff and custom roms
SGS i9001 (the quallcomm one) is supposed to be faster - i think i 've read somewhere that it's based on a single fast memory chip and don't have i9000's lag problem. i9003 is the worse than both.
Why don't u even consider the galaxy r in ur list ???
From the choices given, i9000 is still MUCH better than the Plus and SL version.
Just exclude the SL from that list because its ... frankly ... Teh ****zz from company. A lame attempt to sell the name "Galaxy" i.e. Their Flagship Device.
Galaxy S Plus has a faster CPU. It'll be a better performer in day to day tasks than i9000.
However, i9000 is still has a better hardware OVERALL. Becaues it also has a better GPU i.e. SGX540. While rest of the specs are same as Plus version.
Conclusion: From the above given choices, choose the i9000.
BUT ... If you can consider other options say Galaxy R, look into it as well. (If you can live without a SuperAMOLED display ... well, i cant )
i9001 is better, but no one making roms for it.
no

If you just compare hardware i9001 is of course better, but the Android community of i9000 is awesome, so it is just a matter of taste
yaya, this is what i meant, cause there are more custom roms out there..
Galaxy S in terms of support of course
specs-wise= sgs+
short on $$$= sgsl
dev support=sgs
you choose.

Exactly what I wanted to write I still prefer I9000 S cause it was my first phone but the S+ is a beast
I9003 is highest but I love my I9000!
S and S+ rocks
I personally have a Galaxy S , with its CPU at 1.3Ghz , more or less equalling CPU performance with the S Plus.
They would have done better if they had given the S+ with 1.4Ghz CPU + PowerVR SGX540 , that would really be killer. When I bought my S , it was priced at 22k INR and the SL was 18k . The SL was much laggier in general operation, but thats debatable cause the S was using 2.3.3 , whereas the SL was 2.2.1 . I saw the S+ too , 24k , was more or less same in performance with the S.
I went with the S due to much higher GPU performance, with value pack XXJW4 , Semaphore 2.7.4sc , 1.3GHz CPU i get 33.2fps in Nenamark2 , with 1Ghz , i get 32.8fps
I9000 as it has more support

Grand Duos vs Grand Quattro (Win Duos)

Which one is better? Does the Grand Duos have a Gpu? How does its dual core processor compare to quad core of Quattro?
Main requirement is dual SIM with good display and battery life and also able to play some games such as Subway Surfers. I am tilted towards Grand Duos because of better camera.
Sent from Samsung Note 2 N7100 using Tapatalk 2
I have galaxy grand and my friend has the quattro
I never regretted buying the grand
when using the quattro I Don't feel the extra bump of the processor and the games lag because of the quattro's basic gpu adreno 203
on the contrary the same game with the same apk never lag in grand even in power saving mode because of the better gpu of grand videocore IV
plus the extra screen real estate and better camera an 1080 play and recording of grand are all plus points for me
quattro is a joke really compared to grand in real life performance don't be fooled by benchmarking
and quattro practically has no development going for it that means no mods no custom roms and be grateful if it even has a rooting method "really bad for me"
that's my opinion and the decision is for you
Go for Grand if possible. Trust me, Galaxy Grand smoke away Galaxy Win miles away. Although Grand are using 1.2GHz A9 core + Video Core IV, are way better than Win Quad-Core 1.2 A5 core + Adreno 203.
Subway Surfers problem can be solved (If you having it) by upgrading your firmware. OTA or ODIN.
Grand is better than quattaro in terms of specs, screen, camera:good::good::good:
Grand is better in every aspect
Camera
Display
Gpu
Cpu
Official 4.2.2 update by Samsung
Bigger battery
Etc etc
sent from Samsung Galaxy Grand
Galaxy win is a good idea if you have your budget limited.
Quattro has high benchmark still poor performance don't know why... my brother has that phone...
I have grand. He wants to exchange with me. Lol.. now you decide...
To err is human; to forgive is divine
I think that Galaxy GranD Is Better than Win Duos ... win duos have an older processor ...

Well the budget that you have in your hand ain't good. As in, if you want a device that is future proof , then you've got to extend the budget. That is why I had suggested that you should start saving enough for atleast a Xperia M which is powered by Qualcomm Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus with Adreno 305 and has 1GB of Ram. Performance wise , it is quite good and it'll not burn a hole is your pocket. Alternatively you could buy one of the Micromax or Xolo phone , but the thing is that their after sales services are really bad. I'm sure that your Galaxy Y might be in good condition. Use it for while until you save enough.

real racing 3

hi every one just wanna know how run eal racing 3 on your galaxy tab 3 10.1?
I test this game on my tab but frame rate is low and laggy
First of all , this thread must be posted in the Tab 3 Q&Ans forum . And for the answer to your question - there should be no lag on tab 3 bcoz my tab can support as big games as gangstar vegas and modern combat 4 without no lag at all . Download greenify , and hibernate all the apps , and open build.prop and edit phone model to GT-I9505 . There will be.no lag at all . Trust me .

Yeah u r right . It is not customized for intel cpu . If tab 3 would have a cortex cpu or qualcomm cpu , everything would have been awesome . Development of roms and kernels would also have been very easy . Though now , I hope that kitkat will arrive soon for our tab and every issue will be resolved . it's not about ram because samsung use swap ram in tab 3 10.1 300swap+1000 =1300 so problem here just optimizing you can play modern combat 4 whit full graphic without any problem or n.o.v.a 3 or asphalt 8 because gameloft optimized thair's games for intel cpu
but even games that need low spec some time laggy on this device

Your argument is INVALID, sir
Tab 3 8.0 have 1,5GB RAM = True
Tab 3 10.1 have 1GB RAM = True
Tab 3 8.0 perform better than Tab 3 10.1 = False (sorry)
A 32Bit CPU is faster even than Exynos 4412 aka Exynos Quad
The BIGGEST problem is the bad optimization of apps for the Intel Proccessor, that's why the Tab 3 10.1 lags in many games where Tab 3 8.0 don't lag at all because of its Quad Core GPU i.e Mali-400PM4
I have been a Tab 3 10.1 user, and honestly it's just a GREAT tab. Didn't regret anything about it.
