The picture shows stock recovery.
To flash a bootloader you need the bootloader tar file and flag it as bootloader (bl) with pc version of Odin.
And it has to be done in download mode. Not in recovery mode.
My tapatalk signature:
Phone: SGS5 (SM-G900F)
ROM: AllianceROM v4.1
Kernel: Stock G900FXXU1ANE2
Recovery: PhilZ-touch
If you have any question about or any issue with your SGS2, just ask in the New members friendly Q&A thread.
... for the SGS5, just ask in the Noob friendly S5 All in one support thread
If you need general help/assistence, please go to XDA-Assist.

For flash custom ROM/kernel you need custom recovery (CWM, Philz or TWRP)
Best ROM is not allowed on XDA.
Stock FW you must flash via Odin

There are some "work-in-progress" ROMs in the unified dev section which may rn on your phone ... but they seems not to be that stable yet.
I think you have to wait a little bit for stock-based ROMs. I heard that NeatROM will be available for the G900H soon.

While waiting finished rom for g900h, why dont you debloat your stock roms using titanium backup. There are a lot of stuff to freeze and it makes your s5 really faster.

Sorry to say but Mobile Odin does not have the ability
to flash zip files.
I know you don't want to trip the knox counter other
wise you would odin flash a custom recovery.
Good luck!

Hi all and thank you for the answer in the developper section. I want to ask some questions:
My phone is SM-N900, android 4.3, kernel 3.4.39-2217357, build number JSS15J.N900XUCMK2, baseband N900XUCMK1
1. All files in the threat are android 4.3?
2. In the last prerooted file is there bulgarian language?
3. Are you sure that all apk will stay after the flash or i must reinstall them?
4. Is it preferable to do a data wipe before or after the flash?
5. The waranty will be void?
6. What version of odin must i use?
7. What kernel will i have after the flash and can i flash after root custom roms or custom kernels with cwm or twrp?
8. Wille the modem be tha same after the flash and how can i keep it?
Thank you in advance for your patience and help

[Q] I flashed the wrong kernal and now SM-G900F won't boot

I'm an impatient idiot. Lol I accidentally flashed the wrong kernal through Odin and now the phone won't boot. Phone is an international model bought in Hong Kong. I flashed this one which is a kernal for NE2 (Old Rom Kernel for G900F ONLY, use F6 KERNEL FOR G900FD):
KERNEL_G900FXXU1ANE2.tar.md5
I found it on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-root-triggering-knox-2nd-method-t2843044
So now the phone won't boot but I can get into Download and Recovery mode. Can someone please tell me how to install/flash the correct kernal. Do I need to flash the stock software or can I install a custom ROM which will also include the correct kernal. Please help! Any links to the correct download would be great!
Thanks in advance.

That is easier to fix than flashing the wrong modem. Just flash a stock SM-G900F and you should be fine. You may opt to Wipe your Internal Memory and data clean to benefit from flashing.
Thanks, I flashed the stock with Odin and it works a treat.

Looking for a custom rom

Hello guys,
Right now I got android 5.0.1 with knox.
I'm looking for a custom rom that looks like that:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It is importent it will be custom rom because I want to be able to instal xposed, and it has to be for android 5.0.1 or above, because from what I understood, knox blocks downgrade attempts.
If someone can help me I will appreciate it very much.
P.S
It should also support Hebrew(witch is right to left).
Hi,
Use this step -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58985536
to downgrade. If your bootloader is locked, you can't downgrade nor root it.
But, instead following download ARO firmware, download Stock KitKat firmware from your phone region.
But, since Xposed is supported on Lollipop firmware via arter97's one, I suggest you to flash one of deodexed custom ROMs and install Xposed on it.

First of all, thanks for your help.
I didn't quite understood though - should I follow the guide you gave me but with Stock KitKat from my region , or with a costume Lollipop ?
Personally, I really like the layout I showed in the image, just need to be able for it to support exposed.
The kitkat layout and lollipop layout on touchwiz are pretty much the same, only the colors are different.
If you don't want to go through the process of downgrading, then just flash a custom touchwiz rom. There are couple in the android development section. Take your pick. Make sure it is deodexed.

Do you have any good recommendations? I prefer rom which don't have all the junk apps and "s finder" and such..
I'm not a fan of toucwhiz roms. There are 3 or 4 of them here on the forum. And there also is Echoe rom which left xda but they still have their own site. Just google them.
