Anyone?

google is your best friend
I think i found what you need..... just go to this website and follow the directions, it even has a video http://theunlockr.com/2013/11/01/unroot-lg-g2-versions-video/
From there you go to Section 3 to download the necessary files. The above page has everything that you need to get your T-Mo G2 back to stock:good::good:

No you dont flash back to stock through a .zip update. You have to follow those instructions if you want your phone to be unrooted and back stock. Its not a hard process to do
Will this restore OTA update capabilities. I've read on other threads where once rooted it will still download but not INSTALL the updates, anyone know??
Thanks

[Q] How do I go back to stock JFD?

Hello,
Sorry if this has been answered, but I couldnt find anything when I searched.
I am trying to go back to stock on my Vibrant just like when I first got it out the box.
I flashed the unofficial update JI2 and then the JI6 through Odin, but now I want to go back to stock to see if I get the update from Tmobile or just do it through Kies.
In order for me to do this I have to go to stock and I cant find or know to to do it. I seem to be getting this whole Odin thing so if I can do it this way it would be great. Please let me know. Thanks.
I search Development section, but none of those worked for me. Not sure if Im doing something wrong.
I am no expert by any mean just a noobie but I downloaded the files on the link posted in I believe it was the Development section that was the JDF Odin stock rom etc. Look for it posted in there or search it and it will come up. I used Odin and it went smoothly and then I updated to ji6.I believe the link below is what you are looking for.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734475
Here is the link again for some reason it shows up when I save it but when I exit out and come back it is gone

Ok, so I did find this one, but I had no luck!
So did you click on the last one that says All 3 Files?
Or did you click them one by one?
you should try a custom rom before going back to stock!

Either way you want to do it. The 3 files-in-one is a smaller download if that matters to you. But they're all the same...
Also, in the Vibrant Bible, there's a link to Odin1.3 which worked well when I had to go from JI5 (via Kies) back to JFD for the Kies Mini update to JI6. Just fyi, I'm running Win7 Pro 64-bit, not sure what your setup is like.
When you say you had no luck, did you mean you couldn't get into download mode or Odin didn't work for you? For Odin to work you have to make sure the ID:COM in the upper left is populated with a number. Otherwise Odin is essentially saying that it doesn't see your phone, most likely due to driver issues.
Thanks for the help! I finally got it to work!

Why would you want the OTA if you already flashed it? Now you may run the risk of soft bricking after accepting the update... Maybe it's just past me at this early hour, but can't figure out why you wanna do this.
posting to save this thread to refer back to later
The reason I wanted to try Kies OTA is because of the missing Market apps and also because I was having lag problems with the flashed version.
Actually everything went smooth after I figured out how to do it.
Unfortunately there are still missing apps, But my phone runs alot smoother.

Need Help Please

First off I'm pretty new to this. I followed the instructions flashing my stock DI18 to DK28. It works just fine no problems. I want to be able to flash back to DI18. How do I do this. Without using Odin. Is there a way just to download a DI18.zip and install it into the root of my sd card power, volume down and camera button flash it? Someone please help.
Thanks
Tom
Here go Here next time search for stock d118 in the development section the wiki helps alot too.
Flash in clockwork if you have it or rename update.zip
I'm not rooted. Does this matter?

I think if you just rename the zip file to update.zip and put it into the root of your sd card you should be able to flash not rooted in stock recovery.

I know how that is this forum gets huge of stuff epecially with people posting questions kinda like yours in a new thread, kinda hard to search i just search for the wiki and read that for different stock flashables.
I keep getting a signature not verified error or something along those lines

I actually did search on the forums, the wikis and the web at large. I already have the DI18 file ready I just was waiting for someone to tell me that it was feasible before I did something.

I have the file, yes, but I am in one of my courses and do not have my cable with me to test this. I'll be home in a few hours and I'll update with whether or not it worked. I really like the update but I just cannot stand the rotation issue. It is constantly switching orientations on me and it is near impossible to get it righted again.

[Q] Help with some of the basics (root&unroot)

Ok so i know i am a newbie to this sort of thing but i wanted to wrap my head around everything and also specifically to my phone before i decide to do something and the results are permanent.
Firstly ill start off with saying im a Canadian Virgin Mobile customer and i just got the Galaxy S4 (SGH-i337m).
Ok so i want to root my device but i am confused about some of the basic concepts. I saw the tutorial video posted for my specific phone by the smoking android (link for those who havent seen it: youtube. com/watch?v=cI9r5dEcNo4) and i understand that the rooting process is fairly simple.
What i am confused about though is my options once i am a root user and if i ever chose to revert back to original. Lets say i went ahead and rooted my phone. Will i be able to software update through the updates that virgin sends me? also if i am able to then will i maintain root acess?
my second biggest question is lets say for whatever reason i want to go back to the way my phone is now, with the stock virgin firmware. is this possible? and with no trace of the root before (is this the same as achieving original status instead of a custom one)? i know that you can remove the root and then reset the binary counter but im not too sure how all of this works, its a lot to take in at once.
im just trying to clear things up and yes i am quite new to all this (got my s4 yesterday) but i am a quick learner and im just trying to get a grip on everything.
thanks in advance for bearing with me

Why modem? is that really necessary, I think you mean kernel.
if you flash back to stock, modem and kernel will be included.

Which images do you need? Here's a link for the stock system and boot images from the most current firmware build. The images are archived, so you will need to extract them once you download the zip. If you need stock recovery, radio firmware, etc., let me know.

Which images do you need? I posted a link for the system.img and boot.img. That's your stock OS. Those should get you back up and running on stock. When installing Lineage, generally the only partitions being flashed are system and boot. Your other partitions such as /modem, /fsg, /rct, /laf, etc should be intact, unless you altered or wiped them. However, I can give you links to other partition images, but I need to know which ones you need. Mine are not all archived together.

Ok well since it won't let me create a new thread and I have a LG K20 from Metro(which is now t-mob.) I've been trying to find a SIMPLE, IDIOT PROOF rooting process for my phone! I do have a laptop that's old as **** and would only get internet through my tethering, SO if at all possible, I'm trying to find a way to root without connecting to my LT, & I'm hoping you very smart, technology inclined ppl would be willing to help me?? PRETTY PLEASE! LOL (*ADMIN OR MOD) MY APOLOGIES IF THIS ISN'T THE RIGHT PLACE FOR THIS! Obviously delete it if it breaks rules. Sigh. Today would be my luck! Ty in advance.

Hi @LadyG123, there is a very simple rooting process for your device. I'm very sorry for the late reply. Been crazy at work with the whole Coronavirus pandemic going on. If you're still wanting root on your LG K20 Plus, let me know. I'll lay out the steps.
I need LG K20 Plus TP260 T-Mobile Stock ROM Backup please
So I tried the aicp and resurrection remix ROM and they don't support all the good stuff I need I was wondering if anyone has the LG K20 Plus T-Mobile Tp260 Stock ROM Backup because I don't have a PC anymore so I can't manually do it
I see no one eve replied with the stock rom (KDZ). I am FRP locked. I need the original (old) ROM, to flash, and then from there I can do stuff....
