I seem lost - HD2 Ubuntu Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and General

So for myself it has been a long long time since I've messed with my HD2 and I have found it sitting around in a box. On my HD2 I have Magldr 1.13
So I have searched around to try and figure this out but I haven't found any luck on the answer I'm looking for. Some roms require Clockwork Mod or some form of recovery. I am coming up short on how to install a recovery with magldr present and how to do it. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

replace magldr with clk because clk supports device off charging
install clk
install cwm recovery (latest)
i recomend nexusHD2 roms becaus they are the most stable one
google for the last nrxusHD2 ROM (curently its android 4.4.4 )
follow the rpm instruction to partition the /system partition as mentioned in the rom page
flash the rom
enjoy your native android device

Okay well that helps. Now to my next question. I was also looking for how to upgrade to CLK but I can't find an up to date link or sticky that has downloads that aren't broken. Am I just not looking hard enough?
Edit: Could I flash CLK over Magldr using HD2 toolkit I found?

Hello sherlockpwnz from your OP I suggest you have a good read in this thread as it may be of help to you.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I have been working a new job and will be checking these out. I may have to use the SD card method because I'm assuming my cable isn't working right I keep getting the port change error once it goes to reboot after installing clk and rebooting. Maybe I'm wrong but I will try these and hopefully get it running.
Thank you everyone for steering me in the right direction. I am now up and running and this thread can be closed. This is why I love you guys and gals at XDA Developers. Thank you thank you thank you for the help.

Go here and read instructions. If you cant follow them it means you haven't read any of the guides in stickies.
PS.
You dont have to manually put a "Q" or put the date in your topic title.

The "best" way to learn bud is to do some real reading. I know it can be a bit daunting at first but honestly its the best way. Been walked through something is too easy and you wont pick up valuable information as much as you would if you worked it our yourself.
There is some really good guides to follow, have a look through them and have a go.

Struggling while installing Android 2.3 Gingerbread on HTC HD2 (NAND)
Thanks guys for your prompt replies. This my situation: I installed Android 2.2 on my HTC HD2 with
RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2
Radio_15.42.50.11U
2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship
HSPL 2.08
MAGLDR V1.13
Android 2.2
Everything works great. Recently, I wanted to upgrade to Android 2.3 Gingerbread so to I upgraded successfully the MAGLDR1.11 to MAGLDR1.13.
Now, I spent a longtime reading your replies to the other users and it seems my case is a bit special, therefore I have 2 questions:
1- The MAGLDR113_DAF file I downloaded contains the ROMUpdateUtility (that you advise users to use) and also has a DAF file. I can see clearly at system start up that my MAGLDR is 1.13. So, does this mean am good? or do I still need to open the DAF through the tri colour screen bootloader, as some have suggested? Please help clarify my confusion.
2- I downloaded Android 2.3 Gingerbread on HTC HD2 (NAND) and extracted it to my 8GB SD card root, when I open the Android folder on my HD2 and tap on CLRCAD.exe, I get "file type exe not found" message, I tried with haret.exe as well but I always get the same message. Could anyone advise what I am doing wrong?
By the way, I used first a 2GB SD card, after being formatted, in vain then formatted a 8GB SD card, copy, paste Android folder on root, in vain. always same message.
Thank you very much guys and once again, I really appreciate your time and patience with us.
well if you're going for NAND you should not been able to toutch the CLRCAD.exe/Haret.exe wich probably means that you've downloaded a SD build.
you should go to the NAND section of this forum and find a rom there.
the instructions for installing a NAND rom are in de first few post by the dev himself.
goodluck

Dude, if you seriously expect people to try and help you, you need to provide more information. You cant expect people to diagnose your issue by saying something like "hey my phone dont boot, fix please?"
My guess is that you are not leaving it long enough to extract files or that you haven't partitioned your recovery properly.
i waited an hour... i think thats enough?!
partition is well done, other roms going fine
what informations do you need?

Did you flash CWM...what size?
Did you wipe data,cache partition,dalvik?
Did you install a ROM for magldr or clk?(not previously, what did you do this time?)
You know,a little history can help someone to help you.

Hi,
Each ROM nowadays seems to have a different sized CWM partition.
This is generally well explained on the [OP].
Read carefully,or at least post which ROM you intend to use,so that someone could maybe check for you.

Hi,
Only other thing I can think of is;
have you got the correct ROM for your phone...magldr/clk...tmous/EU 512
OP, you should really use the search feature instead of asking repeat questions.
Do this:
Task 29
Update Radio
MagLDR 1.13
Clockwork Mod Recovery
ROM
Done.

So now that you have it figured. Run the Tmous version and see if you like it then download the EU version with CWM partition size 190 instead of the 240 you used for the Tmous version. It works and you get more free ram. I am runnning EU ROM with 150 partition and am getting 250+ ram free 24/7. Just a tip to any US HD2, you can run the EU version of any Rom.
And please rename thread with [SOLVED] at the beginning of thread name. Now others won't need to waste time and help, and "EXPERTS" won't come to flame.

Okay just wondering why dft image is coming if you have an android rom. Anyway.
As far as I understand you can't get into magldr?
If you can do i would suggest to go into clockwork mod but i think you won't have it.
I think you should just do a complete reflash or anybody gives him a magldr cwm which can be started via magldr android sd function to let you make a backup of the whole entire rom and than flash a rom via cwm.
Hope somebody can tell you more since I am not on my computer.

ALL CAPS DOESN'T HELP, IT JUST MAKES YOUR POST LOOK STUPID! Seriously, all that does is discourages people from helping. Anyway nobody is going to help you do something so simple which there are tonnes of guides for, they're only going to point to one of these said guides. E.g. the post above, and my post also has a guide in it somewhere... if you look carefully.

Anyway, you can do everything just to flash this sequence: task29, MAGLDR, Recovery and via recovery flash ANY zip rom compatible for T.Mobile. You have to test them all to find the right one.
At last serach botton on XDA.

First off, that's an "SD" ROM. And who told you that there are specific android builds for each HD2 model? There aren't. Especially if you're booting off the SD.
In short, yes, that ROM works on your T-Mobile HD2.
