Many thanks for your quick reply, I installed it and it fits the whole flatui colors more than others.

The answer is right there in the screen. ?
It's a toggle in the launcher pro hidden menu. It will enable stuff disabled buy carriers.

Could you please list the steps or the settings needed to modify the home screen to rotate. I have spent countless hours trying to configure this and while I can get the screen to rotate it will not rotate properly without either cutting off the text under the apps or showing an additional portion of the adjoining screen. It also will not scroll from screen to screen properly either.
Any help you could provide would be so greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Root your device
Install Tweaksbox
Inside Tweaksbox, go to "LG Launcher Tweaks" and check "Enable LG Launcher's hidden settings"
Restart phone
Go to Home Screen Settings
You will see at the bottom in bold "Hidden Settings"
Uncheck "FEATURE_DEFAULT_PORTRAITVIEWONLY"
Uncheck "FEATURE_USE_PORTRAIT_ONLY"
Check "FEATURE_USE_ROTATE_LAYOUT"
Check "FEATURE_RESIZING_AND_MAKE_CENTER_Y_WALLPAPER_ON_LANDSCAPE"
I believe that does it right away, but you may have to restart your phone again.

I was simply replying to my own posting where I couldn't remember how I managed to rotate the Home Screens.
I remembered in the end and again answered in reply to both my own statement and being informed I had to root.

There are ton of apps out there that will force your phone to rotate. I use one called alternate rotation control. You can make any app or your any home screen rotate.

This is actually a menu I found inside the Sounds and Notifications part of the Settings menu, where you have a list of apps and you can configure them to be Priority or Blocked.
There was a Sensitive setting, which still shows up as gray text underneath the apps where I set them (along with Blocked and Priority when necessary) so apparently my S5 remembers I once configured several apps to be explicitly Sensitive.
I thought this behavior was intentional, so I was really disappointed when my S5 wouldn't hide the things I marked as Sensitive when I set lock screen notifications to Show All, and I was disappointed again when I set the notification mode to Hide Sensitive and it didn't show the notifications I had marked as not being Sensitive.
But now this option has disappeared. Is it available in your phone, like my screenshot?

It does not show the options like yours...

Odd. Do you have a Priority mode, and if so, maybe you have to enable it first?
I manually set some of my apps to be Sensitive before the option was revoked.
None of the Sensitive-marked apps show the option, so I can no longer make any app Sensitive. The app I have a screenshot of above also no longer has the option, indicating something's changed.

Same problem - Success
I had the same problem. It seems to be implemented opposite how I thought. You have to choose "Show all content", then choose what apps' notifications should be treated as sensitive.

Looking for a way to turn the screen off without hitting the power button

I am looking to add a button\widget to the homescreen that will shut the screen off. After looking for some apps I found some that will accomplish this but force a pin upon turning the screen on even if I used the fingerprint scanner. Is there such an app?
Thank you in advanced!

I use two fingers swipe down instead of double tap. You can set any gesture you want.
Roms have double tap top screen to sleep.
Everyone he already given all info needed. This is one of many reasons why I love roms. I always have a custom tile for screen off and a softkey just for screen off that way I can access it either way and not hit a button. Nexus devices have always had crappy buttons and I don't wanna mess em up by hitting them 20,000 times so thats how I get around it. Lots of great 100% stable custom roms to choose from. Pure Nexus, Chroma, RR, AICP, Aokp, the list goes on.. Nexus is the best device for roms. Cheers.

LMT Launcher supports this. Bind one of the items to key code 29 to do a screen off.
GMD GestureControl (play store) works fine (root)
Just download Nova and set a gesture, no root needed. I pinch the screen to turn it off.
Do you mean like this. Look at bottom right hand side in nav bar. No xposed. Pure stock rooted.

The Best one I've ever seen is run resurrection remix with whatever kernel, elemental is good or Franco. Then simply add an extra nav bar button. So instead I having three at the bottom I have 4. You have the back, home, and recents +power button on the far right of nav bar. A single process turn off long press and you'll get the power menu with screenshot power off and reboot and reboot to recovery that's all you want.

It's within systemui.apk. Me and @Tigerstown will be releasing a nav bar mod pack.
If you can wait 7 seconds, you can use a Tasker shortcut to set the screen time out to 7 seconds, and then restore it after it goes off.

App to Turn Off Lockscreen without using tue powerbutto?

Nova Launcher is great for this. Also Microsoft's Arrow Launcher (but that has a tendency to drain battery and also it is hard to find an empty spot on screen to double-tap to sleep).

If you use fingerprint lock (or maybe any secure lock, I'm not sure) on Marshmallow, apps that actually lock the screen will cause the OS to request a pin or password when you turn the screen back on.
The app that Golubev linked avoids that by implementing a work around, or kludge, depending on your point of view. Instead of actually locking the phone, it simply displays a black screen in immersive mode. It looks like the screen has shut off, but it doesn't really shut off until the screen times out about 10 seconds later.

Turns out there's a way to do this built into the phone. And you can do it from any screen in any app, not just the home screen.
Go to Settings / Accessiblity / Dexterity and Interaction / Assistant menu
Tap on Edit. You'll see a bunch of options for things you can do on the screen. Icons you drag below the gray line won't be visible, items you drag above the line will be. Note that one of the options is "Lock screen." Make sure that's above the line.
The drawback is that you get a new blue circle on every screen, like so. (The circle can be moved anywhere on the screen, so it doesn't cover up important info.)
{

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
The benefit is that you can tap on that circle and execute any of the options you selected when you set it up. Including shutting the screen off without touching the power button, and without interfering with fingerprint lock.

Icon Question on V20

Hi,
Has anyone figured out how to change icons on the v20? I am aware that you can do icon extract and edit each icon, but is there a way to apply icons to the v20? I got stuck with bad icons from one of the black themes, and the system icons (in the recents and 2nd screen ) look terrible. Hope someone can provide me with the magical answer! Thank you
I want to know as well.

Many icon packs on the Play Store are compatible with LG Home. Check out their descriptions. I installed Crispy, Sunrise and Corny, they all work.

V10 is running LG Home, V20 is on LG Home+. Haven't seen any standalone iconpacks for LG Home+, but there are full themes that alter the icons. Look in LG store and Play Store.
Long press an icon and you can press the small purple paint brush that pops up and then get back to the icons you had before installing the theme.

As for applying icon packs directly I haven't found one that works with home+ yet. I use an app called theme x to apply icons to home+ from my favorite icon packs.

Just download Nova or Apex launcher. Then download a nice white icon pack. It takes 2 minutes. After you download the icon pack just open it an click on apply icons. Long press the home screen and select your options like making the launcher your new home screen by default.
I wanted to stick with one of the stock themes but I absolutely HATE all those colors in my icons....I like a nice clean look. Also, I love the gestures like douple tapping the screen to launch Google Now. I use that a million times a day.
You guys can just use the app called awesome icons and do them quite quickly. I does only theme the icons on your homescreen though. No app drawer support but it's quicker than manually adding them via long press

On my G3 there was an option called "Smart Screen" that kept the screen on while you were looking at it. I loved that option. I don't know why LG got rid of it. It was a separate app. I wonder if it would still work on V20

True. I don't use any lockscreen - so I always forget about that. If requiring you to not do anything to turn your screen on is important to you - then why would you even have a lockscreen setup?
