Hi,
I suggest you use some third party email apps which supports exchange protpcol.
Gionee had this problem they said they will fix it in new update but i dont know what happened.
I used app named nine it was i think 2-3$ which was ok but app is quite good.
It also supports encrypting only at app level instead of encrypting whole phone.

you can do it, i did it for my official email.
check your office IT team to know exact settings..

Hi all,
Using Gmail, stock email app or Enhanced Mail, I'm facing a crash when I try to open a kind of email (seems to be related to emails with small picture in them).
It's not a force close of the app, it's a crash of libwebcore.so (segmentation violation), log attached.
Is it a known issue ?
If someone want to try, just pm me giving your email and I'll send an example of problematic email.

[EDIT 3]: with K-9Mail client, images appears directly without crash .... I don't unsterstand at all what is going on ....

[EDIT 1]: Same crash launching the last stericson busybox installer v4.4 which starts for asking to fill a form ...

I put the email as an attachement. You can put it in your sdcard and load it in the internet browser, same crash log !

Well, it's my ROM, JPU version with a lot of changes but nothing very different from your rom I think.
The libs that are crashing are stock version (libskia, libwebcore, libc).
Very strange that in K9email the "guilty" email appears directly with included picture, without crashing. In Gmail, Enhanced email, and stock email client, the email appears blank and it crashes ...
I have no idea at all of what is going on ...
If you have any idea I will love it !

A bul**** in my framework-res.apk ...
But, android's error log is as the microsoft one ... missing (understandable) informations to have an idea of wtf is going on ...

I have recently updated my gionee elife e7 32gb vr. to android 4.4.2 and I wanted to use the web function of the whatsapp, but the QR Code doesnt get scanned, and i can't use this function. Is there a slution ? aswell i have noticed that the whatsapp icon in the phone is different from the regular one ....odd
Fixed in General Mobile Discovery Elite V8220. Try to google "General Mobile Discovery Elite V8220 4pda" and you will find.
am i supposed to install this rom, luckly i understand russian so i have read the description on 4pda. but there were no guids to how to install it ,could you help me ?

Hi Team
Can someone please share the boxer email apk. Apparently Cyanogen Roms are ineligible for boxer emails now. You cant download from play stores.
