Hi guys, I wanted you to meet my ROM, called it the "EnergyROM"
1-ROM is based on CM 7.2 Fat is fast and stable.
2-BRAVIA Engine has some other cool additions.
3-Launcher is cool and has the same buttons as GalaxyNexus.
4-Good baterry live
5-application for music this Zimly ,it is very polished ...
6-No browser, but Google Search
7-DSP manager
8-File manager: File expert
9-Kernel: 2.6.35.7-perf-CL562111 [email protected]#1
10-ICS Theme
11-ICS launcher
12-ICS Bootanimation.
13-I wanted to add that when you click on something in the status bar (This small rectangle in the middle), it will free us to RAM, in my opinion, for the cache.
14-as to what it all pulled on the Internet...
I would add that, unfortunately, I was unable to set the ICS theme as the default theme, so if someone tells you how to be grateful.
DOWNLOAD: REMOVED
Installation (read it carefully):
-Go to the CWM
-Then we wipe all
-Install ROM from SD card
-reboot-
-How do we turn phone to enter the Theme Choosler and choose ThemeICS
-reboot
-We enjoy if they like it, of course ... : D

It's probably his first attempt at making a ROM , guys . Give him space .
I'm sure the insulters have either never posted a ROM before or are habitual trollers .
@OP you can check my GingerDX build.prop to see how I set the ICS theme as the default theme , but you must make sure the apk has the same name as what you're specifying in the build.prop , otherwise it won't work

[Q] Is it possible to enable software (screen) keys on SGS4 (i9505) ?

Hi there,
I have rooted my SGS4 and was looking for a way to enable software (screen) keys.
As a reference I used this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2032117.
Unfortunately it did not work. After adding qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 line to system/build.prop and rebooting I started to get popping error "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped".
Does anybody know how to enable software keys on SGS4 ? Please advice.

Thanks for your answer. I'm using MIUI launcher and would like to stick to it. I'm looking for a software buttons mode. I like how it works and looks. I know that there are many alternative solutions (like Virtual Button Bar), but I like when it is integrated into system.
I would really appreciate if somebody can tell me how to enable software (screen) keys on SGS4 with original rooted ROM.

Can we manually add what is missing for software buttons to work ?

It does not work for me and this is exactly what I want to fix (please take a look at my original post).
After reboot I'm getting "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped" message and no software keys.

I ran into the same issue. It still worked with the S3 by simply updating the build.prop. But with the S4 Samsung it doesn't.
It works nicely with cm10.1 though. If you don't need any of the Samsung additions then it is really worth going to cm. There I put the qemu.hw. mainkeys=0 in /data/local.prop. This file doesn't exist by default, but it can be created with an editor. The advantage of this is that it stays there along updates as long as you don't wipe data.

I use GravityBox (an Xposed mod) to enable this an the down button torch.
It says Vanilla JB but I've got it working on the Omega TouchWiz rom i'm running...
Use at your own risk...

I have edited a bit and compiled too. But the name of the application automatically changed to 'com.android.settings' which is actually the package name. I moved it in System/app and after booting, found that its name actually changed to 'com.android.settings' and was not opening. What to do now? How did you make it working?

Settings.apk has changed, per-app permission options item has been added. Maybe some others by now.
Simply replacing Settings.apk (which is all that zip does) means breaking new changes or settings entirely. Why I suggest a run-time mod that only effects formatting.

Yeah i'm using the S5 Launcher but i don't have that widget

In Google search settings , set language to english (us) and tick hot word detection. You will get ok google widget.

are you sure that you didn't cover the microphone?for example with my old case it didn't work Ok Google but without the case all working fine.

What ROM are you currently using? Maybe it's the ROM that gives you the problem. I'm using Sammy Deluxe ROM S5 Edition and it works perfectly.

For me doesn't work all the time. Google widget used to display OK GOOGLE, but now I can't get it working anytime.

I have removed data and cache from GOOGLE SEARCH and now I get OK GOOGLE on widget and works everytime !

DPI Change breaks Layout

So i had a Z2 which i used at a DPI setting of 320. Its just awesome. But when setting it global on my S5 it just breaks everything. Lockscreen, Camera etc.
Is there any fix for that ? Any of those Custom roms that i can flash ? Thanks in advance !

So i added Contacts, Dialer and SystemUI to App Settings to force a DPI of 480. Dirty workaround, but i cant find a real fix to that. Did anyone a modified Dialer,Lockscreen etc. that works with such a DPI ???

I recommend using 380DPI, it is clean and keeps the lockscreen in place. And the Contacts. Only not the Dialer and Camera..

Doesnt keep the lockscreen in place when you using locking mechanisms like fingerprint. Camera can be forced to be on 480dpi via app settings but i cant get the dialer to force. Contacts yes but that applies to the whole dialer... i would just like to have the dialpad bigger ...
There must be a fix for the lockscreen .. its the only thing thats so broke sadly ....

That's weird. On my Galaxy S5 when I change the DPI (to 380), the lockscreen just centers out. With password, pin and fingerprint..

I used LCDDensity application from the play store. But after a reboot the DPI is removed, It stays when you do a hot-reboot..

still looking for a real fix and the only thing i can find is the x-note rom ... is it possible to get the dialer and camera etc out of that rom an stick into mine that i use ?! ....

Apologies for the late reply. But I've just found out why my lockscreen was in the center of the screen.
It is because I've enabled Lockscreen widgets (module) from Xposed.

So i added Contacts, Dialer and SystemUI to App Settings to force a DPI of 480. Dirty workaround, but i cant find a real fix to that. Did anyone a modified Dialer,Lockscreen etc. that works with such a DPI ???

For me the camera is the only problem after the DPI change. How do you add apps to this App Settings thing you are talking about?
