I'm having this problem where any audio I play when the screen on my SGH-M919 running CM11 loses most of its stereo expansion. It used to only happen at the home screen on the launcher, but now it happens anytime the screen is on. Here's an example of what I'm talking about with me turning the screen off and on.

It occurs to me that it might be useful to have a program that will automatically pause the TF3D music player whenever the headphones are unplugged from the phone. This would help prevent unfortunate occurrences like your headphones being unplugged accidentally and the whole subway car hearing your music blaring!
Would this be difficult to implement as an application that runs in the background?

hmmm .. I don't use the cable headphones... I have bluetooth...
and when I turn my headset off.. the music stops by itself...
I haven't tested the cable headphones since a bought the phone... but shouldn't it be the same??
Unfortunately, nope. When you unplug the headphones that come with the phone, it switches over to using the phone's built-in speaker instead.

I don't know if it is differend on Diamond, I Have Touch Pro.
But when i unplug headphones when device has display turned off it pauses and when I have display turned on it doesn't. I find it perfectly OK. Have you tried it that way ?
Weird! It doesn't do that for me. In fact, if I unplug the headphones, it wakes the Diamond up again and switches to the speaker. But if I press the power button to turn the screen off again, it pauses the music.
My diamond does exactly what you asked for, but i didnt install any tools. It is a built-in feature.

Weird... I'm using the stock Telus ROM (don't want to void my warranty), and it doesn't do it. Is there a registry setting that controls it, maybe?
Just confirmed the behavior on the GSM Touch Pro - when you pull the headphones out and the screen is on the sound goes through the speaker, but when the screen is off it pauses the music.

Sim Free TP here, and as the above TP owner's have posted, screen off, plug comes out (due to naff case not taking plug all the way) handset is as quiet as a Royal British Legion!

No pausing on Diamond2

My Diamond2 with the newest official HTC rom doesn't pause. I would really like it to do so bot when screen is off and on. Tried this plugin (http://www.fuzemobility.com/remove-headset-to-pause-tf3d-music/) for Diamond but it doesn't seem to work :-( Anybody found a way to solve this?

After gaming on my G2 for a couple hours. (after reading a top ten android games thread) I found the home screen flickering. Kind of frustrating because all of the other pages were fine.
I had auto brightness OFF .
I turned it ON and then OFF and the flickering stopped.
I would love to know if anyone else sees this, and if toggling AutoBrightness ON/OFF fixes it for you as well.
yes i have the same issue and so does a lot of others with this device.
i am going to flash PA later and see if it does it on that also.
thatll hopefully determine if its a software or hardware issue.
i have a couple issues with this device.
streaming music causes a screeching sound in my headphones that i dont get when i listen to music already on the device.
dual camera mode does not work for me either, at least with my stock cam app.
So I'm miffed! My brand new baby is giving me a Bluetooth nightmare. After I use it with Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 headset and disconnect the Bluetooth (even if I switch off Bluetooth), phone audio won't come thru the regular speaker. However, if I switch on the speakerphone, then audio works.
A restart fixes the problem. But it is super annoying. Anyone else experience the issue? Do you guys have an idea of how to fix this?

You aren't crazy, I've had some similar problems. if you notice, when this issue is active and you try to turn your volume up, it'll show BT volume being changed instead of regular. For me, I can usually toggle BT on and off again to get it back to normal.

This also works for me. Still annoying though.
I don't know the tech verbiage perhaps a developer is best equipped however:
1. Connecting Bluetooth seems to cause the system to act stupid. I had found a video through MyVidSter which took me to Pornhub while on the toilet I figured I'd let it download as I proceeded to brush my teeth and take a shower (fresh, beautiful, and clean)
2. Next I connect my Bluetooth headsets and go to playback my video and it stalls gives error can't play.
3. Turn off device restart
4. WHAM, it finally can play the same video it couldn't just a moment ago.
5.I then disconnected and noticed my sound wasn't there when I went to YouTube to listen to a Formation.
6. I tried PowerAmp and the strangest thing the file played the song at like 256x very sped up! I could see the scrub bar moving along very fast!! No sound or video would play on YouTube or my photo gallery
7. I finally go to setting power on Bluetooth toggle for a few seconds then turned it off and finally videos sound and music without would play again.

Having the same issue with LG HBS-810 Headset. If I turn off the headphones before I turn off Bluetooth on my phone, it's OK. If I turn off Bluetooth on my phone first, then no sound. Also, If I turn on the headphones first, then Bluetooth on my phone, they will not connect until I turn off and back on my headphones.
I seem to have the same issue on my Nexus 7 (2013) with Android 6.0.1, so I think it's a 6.0.1 bug.

I just registered because I experienced some problems with my recently bought nexus 6p. I really like this phone but as soon as I start listening to music using headphones the bugs are invading my phone since I didn't find anything on Google I start this thread.
But let's get to my problem:
I plug in my headphones and start playing music (using blackplayer and Google music). When the screen is turned on the volume turns down itself (I can see the volume bar going down to zero like I'm pressing the button). Also sometimes the powerbutton stops working and I have to restart my phone long pressing the power button.
But also when the screen is turned out I experience some problems. One of the most annoying ones is that music stops and starts randomly (but only when headphones are plugged in!!!). The other bug is music stopping, display turns on and some female voice tells me "Bitte warten! (please wait)" and the screen is gray saying "initializing".
Has someone experienced similar problems? What could help? If you guys need any more information just tell me
I have none of these problems. Have you tried a different set of headphones?
Change your headphones or ensure that they're set up properly. I'm guessing they're wired.
I'm also running into this same issue. I have the latest updates on my phone. This happens about 25 minutes in to listening to media. I've heard that disabling "OK Google detection" fixes it. This hasn't worked for me.
Sounds like wired headphones with a faulty connection to the phones, or faulty buttons on the headphones. I have seen similar behavior with just a wired connection to an AUX Input. The connection on the wire was faulty and due to changing resistance, it looked to the phone like headphone buttons were being pressed. Could also be a fault at the headphone jack on the phone, but it was not in my case. Definitely try other headphones to help narrow down the issue.

wht is ur headphones?
+ isn't thr any automation app like tasker that control handle events on ur phone?
what have u done so far?
+ Restart? Cleaning the headphone port? OR ...?

Hi everyone,
I have LON-L29 version of the phone, C636 location and I am currently using B233 firmware version. I suddenly noticed that when the phone is turned to landscape, there is no stereo effect present. When I used B225/B229 there was an obvious change of sound in stock player - when the phone went into sleep with music turned on, there was a 0,5 second pause and then the earpiece was going off. In YouTube the stereo effect could be also heard when turning the phone to landscape.
Now I am on B233 for several weeks already, and that pause and turning of the earpiece on/off when turning the phone is gone. However, the earpiece works well during calls, and when I tried to forward the media channel sound to the earpiece via SoundAbout, it also worked well. So the only thing that doesn't work is the landscape stereo mode. Is it a software bug or what? I am confused on the whole situation.
