Ara - Project Ara General

Its quite possible. Like we have deaktop which can be assembled according to customer requirement. An ara phone has a basic hardware module and the user can assemble thae other modules as required

Considering how easy it is for T-Mo people to flash AT&T AOSP derived builds, I'm expecting great things.

Free 7" Tablet From Sprint!

Hey, it's not a Nexus 7...but not bad for free!
Buy a Sprint Phone get a ZTE Optik Tablet for FREE
Not a bad tablet for free, although I imagine they will make you get a data contract for it. It has the same display the Nexus 7 has, a 1280x800 at 7". Only downside is its running HC which is still much better than GB on a tablet. Although XDA has a fix for that as there appears to be unofficial CM9/CM10 builds out there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629630
It leoks nice I checked instorw
I believe theres a data plan contract tied to it,some sites are confirming this

Just proves that editing works. For every person who was fooled there were probably 10 who weren't.
Good try though.

You could do the exact same thing with a Galaxy S3 and tell people it's the new Galaxy.
Non-tech enthusiasts don't know every feature available even on phones they own. Some people don't even download apps on their smartphones, just use the stock ones.
Now this proves that the typical Iphone user is stupid , well certainly in USA anyway rofl

This is "Member-found deals" where members point to each other good deals... unless it is a fraudulent deal.
Hummmm......
Except those "deals" can't be something you are personally selling, or is being personally sold by one person. Read the rules before you try arguing about it.

I had an idea...

After reading this http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/0...ncryption-signing-and-locking-let-me-explain/ article, I got to thinking. Could we brute force the private Samsung key and sign our own ROMs? And would such a procedure allow true custom ROMs to be installed?
Just a thought, if it is possible I'd love to fiddle around with it.
