[Q] 2 yaffs partition vs 1 ? better ?

hey
if i take a rom and put it in 2 or 3 partitions instead in one
could it increase the performance ? IO score ?
cos i read somewhere that yaffs have limitation of IO or something

Got Note 2 - Now I am lost!

Hi, I got the xiaomi Note 2. looks nice but almost everyapp and text in app is in chinese even though I have selected english as the default language.
Details are: Android Version: 5.0.2.LRX22G
MIUI Version: MIUI 6.7.10.0(LHMCNCH) I Stable
Baseband: MOLY.LR9.W1423.MD.LWTG.MP.V24.P25
Kernel version: 3.10.61+55c995f4-9abe2-d27c84d7
Build No: LRX22G
All system settings up to date - First thing I did was update software but same language thing.
From forums, If I understand correctly, I may have received the 'chinese' Version?
I wanna Root my device - coz you gotta have root.
Install an english rom and get rid of bloatware. I want max Google apps compatibility.
Zero or Near zero bugs.

(Base score is around 40k in antutu and this guy's rom seems to clock 21k)
But when I visit en.miui.com I get really confused I have only used samsung before and last custom rom I used was like 5 years ago.
Could you please recommend a good Rom that would fit the bill and a ultra noob tutorial for that?

Thats a rom for another phone. Please look at Antutu results. 1280x720 etc.
Gpu score in Antutu would be around 9500 if it runs as it should.

Benchmark scores cm12 cm13 & cm14

Our lovely Moto E xt1022 condor now has all three android updates lollipop,marshmallow and latest nougat on CM offical/unoffical.
i wish to see the performance on bench marking for all three android variants pl share your device xt1022 performance bench mark antutu ,quadrant etc

I am out of town at the moment, but I'll soon post the review of bemchmark of all the 3 roms.
Pls do note that the performance and the bemchmark score will vary on cm12,cm13 and cm14 on every moto e(condor) .
This is because the bemchmark score is dependent on the number of apps you have installed, no of widgets, which gapps you are using, whether xposed is installed or not, etc , etc

i was thinking that fresh install of CM 12,13,14 with default apps of CM's will give better performance benchmarks of each on same hardware...i am also trying:good:

Anyone tried downloading benchmark app in play store ?

I tried various benchmark app such as antutu, geekbench and others but after the download finished , it's shown can't install with error code 501 . Did anyone experienced the same as me ?

Works on my m3. Tried antutu and geekbench.

Just Google for "Google Play Error 501" and you wil find a solution.

As far As I know the latest exynos beta has the latest mali drivers included, I'm not sure about vulcan but the hardware is certainly compatible

This video contains benchmark comparison between nougat and oreo and although everything is almost same in CPU department when looking at 3dmark score opengl 3.1 performance is similar but vulkan score have improved greatly 2192 vs 2529.
