My lg g2 touch screen doesn't respond after the last software update and after searching the internet i found that the only solution is to hard reset , but i want to backup the phone data first so i have to unlock the phone and that it is impossible so is there any way to unlock the phone from the computer , the phone is connected to the internet ?

If touch screen doesnt work I dont think you can.
I have the exact same problem. After the latest update on my black tmobile G2 (d801), my touchscreen does not work at all. I had to get an OTG cable and connect a mouse to it to unlock the screen and do anything w/ the phone. Have done a factory wipe, as well as reflashed multiple different images, including reverting back to stock. Nothing works.
I found some programs that can make you control your mobile though PC but all of it needs a client to be installed on the phone, is there anyway to bypass this client or give a command to unlock the screen , wifi is turned on the mobile?

I got an HTC/Cingular 8125 from my wife's boss. She bought it back when it came out a couple years ago and stopped using it when she got a newer phone. Theres a password on it that she says she can't remember that blocks all access to the phone. I've tried hard resetting the phone to clear all the memory and to erase the password, but everytime I do, I get stuck in a screen that has a red, green, blue and white bar that are horizontal with the text in white and yellow that says "IPL 1.08" "SPL 1.08"
How do I get past this? How do I successfully hard reset it so that I can erase all the information on it so that I can use this phone since mine is currently broken?
Any and all help will be appreciated.

You need to download your original ROM from your carrier web page.
And in this mode (Bootloaders RGB screen) upgrade your device.
See on wiki there are many original ROMS.
But remember to not use so much your phone in this mode cause if the batt is less than 50% it wont upgrade.... remember that men!!!
and do your upgrade the soon as posible

No just hold the camera and then soft-reset and youll be in the bootloader from here you can flash your device.
I have d80210a and I flashed d802_stock_kk
Everything seemed to go fine, but my touch screen is messed up!!
Cant enter pin (removed pin card), cant add wifi.
screen takes multiple "touches" in messed up places, it's question of luck to get any pressing right.
I've tried to restore my nandroid backup, but with kitkat i have no recovery. hard reset is hard reset, no other choices.
can't load rom manager of nothing, cause I can't feed my wifi settings, or pin.

there is a stock d802 rom in my sd-card, but i cant get anywhere so i could flash zip.

Have you tried updating the touch firmware?
Dial 3845#*802# > setting > update touch firmware

No touch screen, no recovery, no wifi, no sim card. And sd-card is also wiped..
Can you try to clean your screen? This may sound weird but i dont know how the g2 digitizer reacts on dirt or whut on your screen. If touch doesnt work at all then you need an usb otg with a mouse i guess if you need to dial those numbers but i dont know for sure or it works on the g2. Thats the only thing that comes up on my mind.
After everything I did and try, almost lost my mind.
I plugged lg to my pc, with LG Mobile support tool. It said there is an upgrade, downloaded and installed it.
Now i have rooted kitkat.
At least, download mode says "rooted" I really don't know is it or not..
This scared the sht out of me and I was planning to flash Cloudy pro 2 next, now i don't know..
I have exactly the same problem as described in the first post. The problem is that the lg mobile service tool does not recognize the phone, because I only can select PTP, MTP and charge only mode on the phone. Is there a way to work around this?
My note 4 screen died , I need to recover my data , phone still working but as pin locked cannot access phone

i tired the MHL OTG 11 pin method , i was able to display the lock screen on my TV but i am unable to use the mouse in the same time , kindly advise if there is a solution to this problem ?
Try installing and using Kies3 to recover your data from your Note 4.

Use ADB , create partition images of your device & then save it in your PC

usually i deal with my problems by searching the forum, though this time i am really worried as i cant find anything to my help.
You see something went bad with the screen and because the phone is rooted, i cant get it fixed (it is still in warranty), nor can i use it (the touch sucks).
So i am trying to get it unrooted.
So i have downloaded LG mobile support tool and the drivers, i enter the phone to download mode and nothing happens. i get all the time errors. Also, in the lg mobile support tool, i see a software update. Should i do it? I cant though because the start upgrade button is greyed out, and the "LGD802" sign on the left pane is flushing like its trying to verify my g2. Also, should i wait for like 10 minutes or so when i enter download mode for the bar seen at the phone to be completed before the whole process? Lastly, the most of times the lg mobile support tool crashes on the pc.
Please help me folks... :/

Where did you buy it, it sounds like the symptoms of a frankenphone. There is a post about it, some sellers flash d802 firmware on a d800 and it causes similar problems with screen, IDK about the LG mobile flash tool.

I bought it 1 year ago, although i immediately flashed cloudy's rom. i cant understand though why every now and then the screen becomes unusable.

If you are brave enough you could try taking it apart and swabbing all the conections, I don't know if that would help but some people say it helps them. And the screen could just be faulty, you never no, before I took it apart I would try reflashing rom, doing the stock touch firmware update thing, then if it still don't work try flashing a kdz for the model number physically inside your phone not the one in the system info, and then I would take it fully apart, and put it back together then if it don't work, replace the screen.
the thing is i cant really interact with the screen to reflash the rom, its inresponsive. and my lg mobile support tool randomly crashes i hook my phone up the pc and it starts the download drivers part

Try a different computer, you could use a USB otg cable to hook a mouse up to your phone if your having issues with touch screen to reset it.

How to recover data from phone with broken screen ? When I connect phone to the PC i need to confirm data transfer on phone. I can't do this because screen is black and touch probably don't work. How to do this ? Please help.

When I connect phone to my personal PC yesterday - didnt need to allow any connection,on work PC everytime i most to confirm connection.Try to connect to first authorized PC...Maybe helpfull...

Try a google backup instead. just head to my account tab and find your phone
