[CLOSED] Profit from Forums - 25s downloads per day! - General Marketing & SEO

Hello guys! Couple weeks ago we have successfully release our first game. After first week - we gave 10-15 downloads per day. Next what we do it: twitter and Fb integration for our game. It gave us: +5 downloads per day. Next activity - forums. After the release of threads on most android forums we gave - approximately +25s downloads per day. Here we go:
Our game - funny 2D platformer - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alder.bananarocksfree
Our thread on XDA - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794650
What else marketing tools do you use in your games?

This thread is for "Discuss your experiences getting downloads, optimizing for search engine and app store placement, and using third-party marketing tools.".... It is not for apps or games advertising. That thread is here...http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=530
Please just ask the question and or share your findings. Leave the links to apps out of the discussion... At least here....

Please let's use this topic to post the best deals we find in Google Play. You can post the currency as you see in your country.
[Camera] Camera Zoom FX (androidslide) R$ 5,63
Rationale: Limited-time Sale: 40% off
Observation: I bought it for U$ 0,10 in a Google big sale.
[Game] Apparatus (Bithack) R$ 2.90
Rationale: LIMITED-TIME OFFER: 50% OFF (Indie Games Sale)
Observation: So so.
[Player] VPlayer (ABitNo) R$ 4,97
Rationale: 50% discount for new VPlayer Video Player, limited time
Observation: I doubt it can beat MX Video Player
Just remember this rule and do not break it
(as far as now, it's not broken but this is to warn future posts by people)
11. Don’t post with the intention of selling something.
Don’t use XDA to advertise your product or service. Proprietors of for-pay products or services, may use XDA to get feedback, provide beta access, or a free version of their product for XDA users and offer support, but not to post with the intention of selling. This includes promoting sites similar/substantially similar to XDA-Developers.com.
Do not post press releases, announcements, links to trial software, or commercial services. unless you’re posting an exclusive release for XDA-Developers.com.
Encouraging members to participate in forum activities on other phone related sites is prohibited.
Off-site downloads are permitted if the site is non-commercial and does not require registration.
Off-site downloads from sites requiring registration are NOT encouraged but may be permitted if the following conditions are met:
A) the site belongs to a member of XDA-Developers with at least 1500 posts and 2 years membership who actively maintains XDA-Developers' support thread(s) / posts, related to the download,

[Astronomy] The Night Sky (iCandi Apps) R$ 2,17
Rationale: Limited-time Sale: 75% off
Observation: I bought it, but uninstalled it. The app is somewhat poor, not so beautiful and complete as Stellarium, Star Chart or Google Sky (freeware).
Only in July 18
[Game] Let's Create Pottery (Infinite Dreams) R$ 2,01
Rationale: 2nd Anniversary Sale: 80% off
Observation: A nice, poetical, sensible game. I like playing it with my headphones. If you recharge your battery while playing it can heat your mobile. I power off the internet data before playing, to keep the mobile colder.

[NEW!] Sony Tablet Z Competition Voting Now Open!

The wait is over!
You may recall that XDA announced a development competition for the Sony Tablet Z, in association with Sony. The tablets were sent out, the developers have been working, and now it's time for the voting!
Here's how it works - I've put together a list of all the projects that are part of the contest. I'll give the link to this list in a second. You should read through all the projects (yes, it will take a few minutes, but please do take the time to read through it). Once you have read about all the projects, you will have the link to use to carry out the voting.
The information to vote is not posted here. That information is available within the thread of information about the projects. If you can't find it, you've not read about all the projects. Do not ask people for the link, and do not send them it once you have found it out - this is to make sure that everyone voting has read the information necessary. Don't bother trying to cheat, just read about the projects and you'll see how to vote.
Who is eligible to vote?
Anyone who was registered on XDA-Developers before 9 AM (GMT) on the 26th July 2013, and who is not a member of XDA staff. One vote per person. Any accounts created after 26th July will have their votes discounted - votes will be checked. This date and time was selected as shortly before information on the voting process was made available to competition entrants. Voting closes on Wednesday 8th August, at 19:30 GMT
Ready to look at the entrants?
Head on over to the thread about the competition entries! The information on how to vote is contained within the thread.
Theres no mention of the NEX camera, at least that I saw, anywhere in the recent posts.
He just stole a tab just like that

HQ Papers (Wallpaper Pack Application)

How's it going everyone my name is Roel and this thread is for my newly released app on the Playstore HQ Papers
(Since I can't post links yet, get the app by going into Playstore typing HQ Papers
This is my first app to put on the Playstore but I'm really happy with it, especially since after only a couple of days it is already ranked #77 in the top new paid for personalization, and I thought it wouldn't even get under 100. Currently when you get the app it comes with 239 wallpapers that I made all myself. In the app you will find ten different categories , starting with Android, Batman, Diamond, Football Teams, Parallel, Random Triangles, Smokey, Stripes, Square Triangles, and Two Tone. The thing that makes my wallpaper pack unique is the variety of colors it has for each category. If you looked at my stripes category you have two decisions to make: Which color do you want the stripes to be? Either black or white. Secondly what color background? A lot of other packs might only give you a couple of options, but I give you 18 different colors to choose from. I made it like that so that you guys can make sure you have your favorite color to show off, and if you still don't find your favorite color, then e-mail me, or also make the request here in the HQ Papers community .
*For this app you will see plenty of more updates to come in the future, with endless wallpapers!
*Please support me by rating 5 STARS and also giving the app a plus one! If you really enjoy my wallpapers then go ahead and tell your friends about this app!!!
Newest Update: What's New
Now there is 239 wallpapers in HQ Papers.
The following categories have been added:
*Android
*Batman
*Parallel
*Stripes
This is the first app I've put on the Play Store, and it surely will not be the last. Talk to you later : ]

Lag problems with C.34

If you have lag problems with C.34 don't choose automatic refresh rate.
I chose 60 fps and it seems that lag is solved (i don't know about 90 fps)
I just set 60fps.
Of course now everything looks slow but I'll try this solution.
I'll let you know in a couple of days (even though I'm waiting for the open beta release of Realme ui 2.0 which is due by the end of this month).
Thank you.

Is Realme announced about open beta?
I saw a reply from the Realme official support (one of those youtube video about realme ui 2.0 beta) which states that official Realme ui 2.0 for x2 pro by the end of March and the open beta by the end of January.
I also tried 90 fps and I didn't have lag

Last but not least and just to mention if you eventually intend to publish a ROM on XDA. In accordance the XDA's policy regarding the GPL you will be required to provide a link to your kernel source. Please be aware that XDA enforces this mandatory requirement.
I hope a vivid and fruitful discussion develops in this thread - and as you said without any questions about ETA's - that supports you in the progress of your ROM development. Do not hesitate to report any "ETA posts" (best via the report function), and we're happy to remove those from the thread on your behalf.
