I have ported Cyanogenmod 11 bootanimation to our Tab 3 10.1 . I works well on my rooted, Odexed Tab 3 10.1 .
Pre-Requisites-
1)Rooted Phone
2)Root Explorer
3)Basic Knowledge Of Root Explorer

Instructions -
1)Download 'CM 11 bootanimation.zip' and extract it .
2)Open Root Explorer
3)Copy 'bootsamsung.qmg' & 'bootsamsungloop.qmg' and paste it in System/media and click 'yes' to replace your existing .qmg files.

Warnings -
1)Don't forget to backup your stock 'bootsamsung.qmg' & 'bootsamsungloop.qmg'. If incase anything goes wrong then you can restore it :laugh:

what if you create a thread to act as a quick reference/catalog of all mods/themes by type in that section like
mkay did in tab3 7 section and nonta did in tab3 10 section? make it nice and clean, get it stickied, good to go.

I think that launcher from Galaxy Ace better than what you are using. And maybe you can try to port stock galaxy ace rom
beter is to port only apps and wigets from galaxy ...but i cant use apps form stock ace not compatiblie

There is supposedly a tool named Device Frame Generator (not sure if it has sgy frame).That lets us to place the screenies in the actual mobile frame as u have mentioned above. google it.

This app works like a charm, you don't have to buy it, the free version has a few options turned off, but it does exactly what it's supposed to.
Should work fine on stock ROM (odex)

It's possible, I haven't looked into it. People have had lag/stutter with the L developer preview bootanimation on some ROMs but not others. Probably the same thing if it lags with this one. There's a way to fix it but I have no idea lol.
I noticed some lags in bootanimation with some kernels...

Bootloader image is removed by flashing the stock one from the thread I linked in OP, bootanimation is removed by reflashing ROM or replacing the bootanimation.zip

Thanks. Flashed both for cyanogenmod using MultiROM, looks awesome and for some dumb reason I thought the boot logo would only be there for cyanogenmod. Guess how I felt when I booted up into PA.
